Vacation rentals with breakfast in Captain Cook

Lovely location, thoughtful amenities and a wonderful Lanai, (porch) where we were able to sit and have breakfast or best, view the sunsets every night.

My partner and I had an amazing stay at Megan’s house! Not only is the room comfortable, clean, and spacious but; Megan is an excellent host. We would recommend this to any of our friends and family. Thanks Megan for an amazing stay!

We had a most pleasant and unforgettable stay. It can be difficult to traverse the bumpy path from the belt road to the house, but once inside, we are surrounded by the calmness of nature, the hospitality of the hosts, and their cuddly pets. Breakfast is amazing, freshly cooked daily and served with local coffee and multiple types of home grown fruit. The host is very knowledgeable about local businesses and attractions and frequently gave advice on our trip planning. Overall a great place to stay and we can’t recommend it enough.

Amazing stay! Beautiful space, jasmine is so creative and eclectic. Her energy reverberates through the space. Incredible attention to detail and breakfast is intentional and well done. Highly recommend.

The house is very cozy and clean. The breakfast made by the landlord is delicious. You can enjoy breakfast on the balcony facing the sea view in the morning. Ms. Jasmine is also very cute and versatile. The paintings in the house are all her works, which makes our trip to the Big Island more colorful. Thanks for their hospitality.

We got this last minute, probably the best value in all of Kona. They made us breakfast, the bed was comfy, and their family and friends they had over were so warm and lovely. Thank you!

Megan and her family were so fun and inviting. Healthy breakfasts with roomy accommodations. Her kids are adorable and her guide to the Big Island was helpful for dining and finding good beaches and activities. Her home is in a nice gated neighborhood and we felt safe at all times of day and night. The yoga and crafts were a fun bonus. It felt like staying at a fun relative’s house. Highly recommend!

If you want a quiet place to stay this is a good choice! Away from the crowds but easily accessible to attractions. The property is stunning with beautiful flowers and birds and incredible views.

Incredible little hidden gem. Close to coffee farms, local vibes, snorkeling, etc. peaceful and private. There is a lattice partition between the two garden suite lanai’s - had wonderful chats with the lovely folks staying in the next suite but still the apartment felt very secluded. Viviane is a generous and gracious host. Mahalo, Viviane!

Caryl was a really good host, communication was easy and she made sure we had a good stay. A big advantage is the extra gears available (snorkeling, beach towels, etc) and the garden which makes the stay even more pleasant. Would recommend this place.

Maxx was very accommodating to us as there was hiccup in renting out the Escape to Mauna Loa Village and gave us another space to spend the rest of our trip. It was very clean, easily accessible, and a perfect location for exploring Kona. I would definitely love to book with Maxx again in the future!

This beautiful apartment is located on the hills south of Kailua-Kona, an area which feels more genuine and offers fantastic elevated views of the coast. It is close to some of the best snorkeling spots of the island, and there are lots of Kona coffee farms and interesting places along the way. Regina is the best host one can hope for, naturally very caring, and gives more space to the guests than to herself. She provides fruits, bagels, and treats, on top of being just a very nice person to chat and live with. Riley is the sweetest dog on the planet and a real highlight of the stay. The sunset from the balcony is to die for. There isn't any other place on Big Island we would like to stay.

We had a wonderful stay and are so thankful for the hospitality shown to us! The B&B is in the middle of forest trees, very tranquil, and we loved the sounds of all the birds and frogs and even the rooster and cow out back! Very comfortable beds, spacious room with extra amenities that weren’t listed like a microwave and mini fridge, and our suite had a lovely private lanai as well. The included breakfast was absolutely delicious and our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend!

This was a wonderful place to stay! Kurt and Kana were such gracious hosts. We loved the yummy breakfasts, comfortable bed, and beautiful sunset views. We’d love to come back for a visit someday.

We (myself and my husband) had an enjoyable stay here. Splendid and admirable service. Resort-style stay at an affordable price and total privacy (no resort sort of crowd). Marvelous view, customized breakfast (I'm vegetarian, Indian). Clem is a sweetheart. He made Indian veg-pulav for us which was top-notch. His pancakes are the best ones we have had so far. He also made early breakfast at 5 am for us since we had a flight to catch. They have an outdoor kitchen with a stove, grill BBQ, micro-oven, crockeries (which they will wash after use - love it. Probably my first trip without washing dishes ), and necessary spices. They have a clean pool (the water was so good), perfect jacuzzi. I had a sound sleep throughout my stay here. The king-size bed had a heater with independent control for both sides (OMG !!! heaven-sent). The room had a coffee maker, kettle, fridge, and more than enough cabinets for clothes, and more. The washer and dryer were very handy. And they have surplus bath towels, hand towels, beach towels, snorkeling goggles and flippers, floatation boards, noodles, swim belts, beach chairs, ice cooler boxes, and MORE. The location is perfect with a calm residence hilltop view, nearby cafes (must try), coffee tasting at Greenwell, nurseries, and beaches. On top of it, we got lucky by spending July 4th here with a relaxed private viewing of fireworks. Special thanks for replacing all towels, door mates and providing room service daily. I would rank no:1 (I have OCD for cleanliness and organizing). For me, it's my fantasy came true !!! I Will definitely stay here again (goes without saying).

I’ve stayed at over 50 Airbnb all over the world. This one is by far the way the most authentic, hospitable and tranquil bed & breakfast. The plantation estate is so meaningfully and tastefully decorated. I felt at home immediately. The other guests were all very quiet and respectable. I loved spending my early mornings meditating with a view and having a delicious breakfast prepared by the lovely Hannah. Michael and Greg are true professionals and overall wholesome beings. I will never forget their generosity and care. I look forward to stating again.

Don’t hesitate for a second to book this property. If you have rented a car, the whole, “Walking distance” thing isn’t worth it. Parking in town is free and plentiful. Everything in Kona, including restaurants, closes (Yes, the grammar is correct) early, like 9pm. You’ll get all the tourist stuff you want during the day. Relax in this sanctuary and your batteries will be fully charged to do it again tomorrow without paying double to be close to the tourist traps. You will appreciate the quiet and serenity, something you’re not going to get in town. Cary is a wonderful host and has thought of every detail. Stop searching. Book it.
