Brigitte's B&B absolutely exceeded my expectations. Brigitte was so warm and welcoming (an excellent cook too!), and the accommodation was absolutely serene. I was on Saltspring Island to work and didn't realize that I needed a retreat as well. The birds, the view, and the ambience absolutely fed my soul. Thank you!

This is a beautiful home located on the shore of a protected ocean lagoon! They have kayaks and canoes you can use to explore the waters and get up close and personal with all the wildlife like sea otters, bald eagles, cormorants, and all kinds of other ducks and waterfowl. Sunrise over the Strait of Juan de Fuca is a peaceful and gorgeous way to start your day. It's only 20 minutes from downtown Victoria to the east, and then just 30 minutes west for hiking some of the best beaches and forest trails along the Strait of Juan de Fuca! Excellent hosts, you will love your stay at Birds of a Feather!

Paphada and Dieter were such lovely hosts! Their place was serene, peaceful and beautiful to stay at and we look forward to coming back again. It was perfect for my family of four and had everything we needed. Looking forward to coming back again ☺️

I have already recommend this stay to all of our family and friends! It was one of our favourite (if not our favourite) Airbnb stays ever. It’s very evident that Tara enjoys hosting, as we arrived to fresh cut flowers and strawberries, and other various homemade food items which were delicious! This is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Such thoughtful details like local soap which we loved so much we ended up going to buy some of, and twinkly lights and candles for the outside tub. Cannot recommend this stay enough and if we ever come back to Salt Spring we will be booking again :)

Wow, what a wonderful place to relax and enjoy everything Salt Spring has to offer! The food was amazing, the carriage house was very clean and comfortable and the hot tub and stargazing was the cherry on top! 10/10 Recommend :)

We, a group of 6, had an amazing stay at Erika's beach house. Beautiful location with a calm and serene view of the sea.This property stands on the Canada/US border with the US neighbourhood on the other side of the fence! That was interesting as long as you remember that when you take a stroll on the beach so you don't accidently walk into the US territory! The house was spotlessly clean and well kept. Erika is a great hostess. She offered tea/coffee and snacks on top of the lovely breakfast that was included in the price. Erika and her husband Syed lives in the property letting out individual rooms. Since we booked all the three rooms, we kind of had the whole house to ourselves. However, they made sure that we were comfortable but at the same time respected our privacy. As usually Airbnb properties workout to be cheaper for larger groups than comparable hotels, we found this property to be a little too expensive. But no complaints as we had a great stay there. Lauren & Garry's Air BnB is fabulous. We absolutely loved our stay. Everything was perfect, the beautiful view, the gorgeous garden, the lovely room and comfiest bed, the delicious breakfast and Lauren's wonderful communication. We really appreciate the effort and thoughtfulness that has gone into making our stay enjoyable 😊

Red Cedar Hill was more impressive than the photo on the website. It is situated in a clearing, surrounded by a magnificent conifer forest, with flowering arbutus trees and and a lake view. The property is in a perfect spot for outdoor and nature enthusiasts with easy access to hiking trails and to the Galloping Goose trail for bikes, and also easy access to Victoria, a 30 minute drive away. Mark lives up to his Superhost designation. The breakfast basket is generous, also providing healthy snacks for later in the day. Access to the suite is simple. Mark is a pleasant, attentive host, without being intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay at Red Cedar Hill.

Off the charts hospitality- these two exceeded every expectation and spoiled us with two unbelievable gourmet breakfasts, in their immaculate, perfectedly decorated and proportioned custom log home. Absolute silence when inside, and outside was alive with the sounds of happy spring birds, and breakfasts were made with their own henhouse eggs (Ken is an 'animal whisperer' it would seem 🤗) and their amazing gardens and manicured, yet natural grounds are delightful, and ooze with tranquility and peacefulness. We even witnessed Roosevelt Elk at dusk both evenings, which frequent that part of our Island. Hummingbirds, robin's, ravens and of course lots of pollinators filling the daytime air, as they fed on the many wild flowers - and - there is even a small babbling creek to create a delightful soundscape when sitting outdoors. as cyclists, having their 5 acres borders a perfect 20 km forested smooth gravel bike path that was once a railway bed- gentle grades- stunning scenery! 11/10!

It would be difficult to imagine a better introduction to the wonders of Pender Island than via a few nights basking in the warmth of Stephen's hospitality at Nosy Point BnB. The well stocked communal kitchen was a life saver on a New Years Day and the homebaked granola a perfect way to start a day of exploration. The addition of binoculars in our room to keep tabs on the nautical comings and goings of Port Browning was much appreciated icing on the proverbial cake. It might be advised to pack a helmet for a visit to Nosy Point BnB as the ceilings tend to remind one of one's actual height at inopportune times. And we still have yet to come by the origins of the name, tho the house itself has a fascinating story.

Birgitte’s place was wonderful! The unit was even better than the photos, great view, nice hot tub, very comfortable. It is very private and peaceful. Robes were even provided! Birgitte left home made baked goods daily which were delicious and each day we got to choose breakfast for the next day, also delicious. She was extremely responsive and very friendly when we met her. It is about a 10 minute drive into town, it would be difficult to walk as quite steep and no pedestrian path. If you stay here you will not be disappointed!

This working farm is a unique place to stay. The animals & the expanse of property with a rocky beach made for a memorable stay.

Marc was kind, thoughtful and attentive. Communication was great. He cooked us a lovely breakfast and was able to cater to our dietary restrictions. He also gave us plenty of recommendations on restaurants and places of interest around the island. The place itself was clean and quiet, surrounded by trees and a short walk to the water! Definitely recommend.

It is a good location if you want to be in serene place but still close to everything. Love the house, it adds experience to the nature adventures we had in Vancouver island :)

We had a wonderful time over the Christmas period at this B&B near Ladysmith BC on Vancouver Island. The host, Melani, was friendly and very accommodating to meeting our time schedule on arrival, breakfast and welcoming us into her home and family. She delivered a wonderful experience in well restored time-period home which was very clean and in a unique location - despite the snow, wind and rain (and even some sun) the B&B was a fantastic 'harbour'.

Fantastic stay! View is unbeatable, breakfasts were delicious and the bed was super comfortable. Joseph and Diane are very accomodating and friendly, you can tell they put lots of care and thoughtfulness in this experience. Even though this is not a private rental, we still felt like we had our own space too. Would definetely go back! ☺️
