We had the most beautiful stay at Michael and Nan's place. The location itself is absolutely gorgeous and so restful with all the lavender treats they provided. After a tiring journey, it felt great to see the fridge stocked with some eggs, butter, yogurt, creme, and a basket with scones, fruit, proteins bars and other snacks. It was our first time traveling with a baby; the space was very baby friendly and they graciously extended our checkout to accommodate our son's naps which was so appreciated. The bed was so comfortable, and between that and the lavender, this tired mama slept better than she has in weeks! The space had everything we needed. We will happily choose to stay here again over a hotel any time. Thank you!

Our 5 night stay at The Gite was a magical and peaceful retreat. The home offers a serene, bucolic escape that feels like stepping into a slower, more beautiful rhythm of life while conveniently located on the threshold of Ruckle Provincial Park. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by Nancy who was lovely and welcoming. She set the tone for our cozy and comfortable experience. The home itself is thoughtfully appointed and radiates charm. It’s the kind of place that makes you say, “I can move in here!” One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying delicious homemade scones and muffins from Robert and delivered twice during our visit. It was a thoughtful and memorable touch that made us truly cared for. Each afternoon we watched deer wander across the great lawn for a nibble; a daily visit that only deepened our sense of calm and connection to nature. Whether you’re hiking through the adjacent park or soaking in the tranquility from the comfort of The Gite, this is a gem.

We really loved our stay at Michele's. The property is beautiful with tons of wildlife and really well located so it was easy to walk to various places. We hope to stay here again

This stunning location boasts incredible design and beautiful surroundings. Staying in the Sanctuary house and the Ecovillage was certainly a delightful experience. If you care about sustainability and the environment, this place is a fantastic attraction in itself, offering the opportunity to live in a sustainable community and connect with like-minded individuals. It's important to mention that this isn't a typical vacation spot: there are restrictions in place, such as prohibiting non-biodegradable personal products (organic and biodegradable alternatives are provided for free); you must squeegee the walls and dry the floor after showering; and there is no kitchen—just a sink, a mini fridge, an electric kettle, and a few mugs. Additionally, the main entrance door lacks a lock, and the bathroom lock was non-functional, though this seems to be a temporary issue. Despite these points, we enjoyed a comfortable and pleasant stay, and Brandy was very nice and friendly.

We appreciated the stunning view, the bird watching, the comfy bed and pillows, the accessibility for our senior dogs and the great location to do all the outdoor activities that we enjoy. The animals on the farm were lovely to see and beautifully cared for. It was a peaceful, quiet place and we hope to return.

We travelled from England for two weeks to explore Vancouver Island. The cottage was the perfect base for us. Situated in the most beautiful location with a river running at the back - it really was a haven of calm for us as we lead such busy and stressful lives at home. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had all the cooking utensils we needed plus more! Added extras like binoculars to star gaze, bear bells, cozy blankets and umbrellas showed how much the host really cares about the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. Our daughter loved reading in the hammock! Doug and Michelle were fantastic in helping us to arrange our trip and also in recommending local places to visit, eat, shop etc. Always responsive to our messages and friendly. We would not hesitate in recommending this cottage to anybody! The location is perfect - isolated for those people who want the peace and relaxation but great for exploring the island for those like us. THANK YOU SO MUCH DOUG AND MICHELLE!

Tara’s place was perfect for our stay in Salt Spring Island! The cabin was absolutely beautiful, cozy and clean, and Tara went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Super clear check-in/check-out instructions, tons of local recommendations, and always so responsive if we had any questions. And we loved having the company of the goats and alpacas :) Would absolutely love to stay again if we make it back to Salt Spring and would recommend her place to anyone looking for a Gulf Island getaway

A beautiful, peaceful, enchanting, wholesome place. We completely loved our stay. The Nook suite was stylish and comfortable, clean and cozy. The surrounding gardens, terraces, pond and views were meditative and spiritual. Bonnie was a friendly and helpful host who is also a lovely human being. We hope to return some day!

Had a great stay! Bin was very flexible and allowed us to check-in early as we had a wedding to attend at 1pm! Beautiful property, comfortable beds, and a clean space. We were left fresh strawberries by the front door in the morning 😄 highly recommend if you are in the area.

This place was fantastic! Vivien’s airstream was so cute and cozy and was exactly what my wife and I were looking for for our first anniversary getaway! Would absolutely go back and would recommend this stay for anyone looking for a quiet, secluded space close by the water :)

We had the most amazing few days at Valarie’s cottage. The space is even more beautiful than the photos. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were inviting and perfect to unwind. We loved walking through the beautiful property and also enjoyed the outdoor dining set up and hot tub. We love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed to make some great meals. Very comfortable bed and couch and lovely bathroom. The property is located close to town but is private and quiet. Valarie greeted us with a warm welcome and was very very responsive and kind. Highly recommend!

The best stay I’ve had on Airbnb. The attention to every detail made our stay feel like the most personalized and comfortable stay. Every detail was considered and above average in its execution. The stay is not of the cottage (which is perfect) is only part of the draw. The property sits next to a beautiful field with a perfect picturesque tree. A path is cleared for you to sit under it and have a picnic among the daisies at golden hour. The hosts are wonderful. Stay here. You’ll remember it.

This has been one of my favorite Airbnb stays ever, and I’ve travelled the world! Charlie was so welcoming, gracious, kind and did everything to give me the best stay. The home itself is stunning, with a backyard that is huge and was perfect for relaxing, and especially for what I went there for, to work on my book. I highly recommend Charlie and David’s home to anyone. She went the extra mile and has such a warm and welcoming spirit, plus is so fun to talk to. You’ll get to experience their garden and fresh mint. And the labyrinth was so calming! I feel a did a lot of nervous and adrenal system healing after coming from a big city. This was just what I was dreaming of. Thank you!

This was one of my favourite airbnbs I’ve ever stayed! The photos do not do it justice. The cabin is beautiful and cozy. Our favourite part of this stay was the two border collies that followed us around we absolutely adored them. The skylight above the bed at night with the stars was unreal.

The property is absolutely beautiful and Heidi is the perfect host. Upon check-in, we were greeted with flowers, a basket of fruit, and makings for a great breakfast. The space is large, clean, and very well appointed. The property is so nice that it was difficult to leave to explore the Island! 🤣 Heidi was very warm and welcoming. She made sure that we were happy and was very responsive. Communications were wonderful. We were a group of 8 and never felt like we were in each other’s way. Thanks you for a wonderful visit!!

We had an amazing stay on the horse farm with our two young kids (3 years and 9 months). The animals and the people were so friendly — it was truly a highlight of our BC vacation. Our kids were constantly entertained, and it felt like such an adventure for the whole family. The property is also perfectly located right on the Galloping Goose Trail, which was fantastic for walking and cycling, and took us to many beautiful outdoor spots. We couldn't recommend this place more — it absolutely did not disappoint!

We had a beautiful stay with the puppy for one night! Fell asleep to the sound of crickets and frogs, awoke in the night to the sound of owls, and rose in the morning with morning birds and the sunrise coming right through the dome! We were very well accommodated, enjoyed the fire pit and nature scenery through the floor to ceiling windows. Definitely a magical memory to remember! Thank you :-)

Great place to stay for four nights

Stayed at Stephanie’s place again for a weekend arts workshop - safe to say it’s my new home away from home when on Salt Spring Island. Quiet, safe, and very close to Ganges, perfect for solo travellers or couples. I will be back!
