We just came back from a wonderful week in Tuscany. We chose Villa Margherita as base for a party of 8 with 2 kids, and we are so glad we did, what an amazing place! Your host Cristina is a very nice person, always reachable and immediately made us feel welcome and answered all questions we had. It helps that Lucca is such a magical place, but the Villa itself is even better than in the pictures! The house has been recently updated to the highest standards, and in fact I don't remember staying in a place with such an upscale kitchen. Bathrooms are luxury grade too, and the whole place is inviting and very confortable. The pool and ping pong table were a success with the kids, given it was hot when we were there. The place is next to the city's wall, so it is easy to walk to the city centre. There is a supermarket within walking distance, and easy access to the highway if you are touring Tuscany like us. Maybe the best Abnb I have stayed, I fully recommend it!

Marco e la sua famiglia sono degli host impeccabili che ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. Disponibili e sempre reattivi. Casa in un’ottima posizione e comoda sia per andare verso il mare che per passare una giornata tranquilla in piscina. Ci ritornerei!

Unser Aufenthalt in Andreas Unterkunft war traumhaft. Der Check in verlief mehr als einfach. Uns erwartete eine wunderschöne Einrichtung im Toskanischen Stil, eine sehr gute Ausstattung, frische Handtücher, saubere Betten und das Beste von allem: zwei Balkone, auf denen wir die meiste Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes genossen haben. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen durch Andreas nette Art und die schnelle Rückmeldung auf unsere Fragen.

Gilda ist eine tolle, sehr herzliche Gastgeberin. Zur Begrüßung gab es selbstgemachte Marmelade, Kuchen und einen großen Obstkorb. Besonders lecker war das selbst gebackene Brot.Der Abschied wurde nochmal mit Marmelade und selbstgemachte Limoncello versüßt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Ausblick über Massa bis zum Meer war großartig. Wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Danke für die tolle Unterkunft 🙂

Thanks Daniele for allowing us to stay in your home! The house is stunning and spacious- the azure room in particular is a dream! We loved the pool and the spectacular infinity views and all the greenery around the house. An easy 5 minute drive to Castelnuovo do Garfagnana for any supermarkets and a good base to explore the Apuan Alps. This house will have pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay! Highly recommended!

This Villa was by far the best Airbnb we stayed in as part of our family vacation to Italy. We are a group of 9, including 1 baby and 2 small children, and the Villa was perfect for our stay. The grandchildren enjoyed swimming in the pool and the patio was perfect for our Chef prepared dinner. Thomas and Enrico were amazing hosts and super responsive to any questions. The Villa is walkable to the Towne Center, train station, and grocery store. We HIGHLY recommend the Villa and hope to be able to return someday.

Our stay at Villa Il Grillo was nothing short of incredible. The photos cannot possibly do justice to the breathtaking views. The Villa itself is so well maintained and is the perfect way to rest and relax at the end of the night after a day spent swimming in the sun. The nearby town has great restaurants and the beach has plenty of day clubs which is great if you want a change of scenery (but we only did that for one day because the villa is actual paradise!) We also did little afternoon trips to Lucca and Pietrosanta which were well worth it and easy to get to from Camaiore. Lorenzo was helpful and gracious as a host and flexible with our arrival and departure. I am not one to write reviews that exaggerate or are overly effusive, so trust me—if you find yourself on vacation here, it will feel like you stumbled into a dream. We are so grateful for the chance to have seen this part of Italy that we stumbled on just by searching through the Air BnB map. Grazie mille, Lorenzo!

My family and I -- six adults and a 9 month old -- spent two delightful weeks at Il Granaio. Before our arrival, Greg (the host) put me in touch with Ally, the property manager, who provided much useful information in advance and ensured we could find our way to the hidden gem that is Il Granaio. Once we arrived, Ally was available as needed, responsive to my queries as we settled in. We enjoyed the Villa and property immensely, using it as a base camp as we did day trips all around Tuscany and a longer visit to the Ligurian coast. The house was comfortable, attractive, and well-outfitted, with fantastic views from the second floor; the surrounding countryside was peaceful and beautiful; the pool was a perfect place to cool off and relax after being out and about; and the billiard table provided enjoyment for all! And having our own washer and dryer was incredibly convenient, especially when traveling with a baby. Wonderful memories were made for our family at Il Granaio!

Ottima esperienza. Gli host sono stati ospitali ma al contempo ci hanno lasciato molta privacy. Era come esser da soli in villa. La casa è molto bella e spaziosa. Lo spazio esterno dotato di piscina e giardino è favoloso. Ottima esperienza che consiglio.

We visited for a multi-generational family holiday - grandparents, kids and parents. The setting is wonderful, in the mountains of Fosciandora - an easy 1.20 hr drive from Pisa airport. We enjoyed having the option of the jacuzzi as well as the fresh water pool. And had local chefs cook for us several evenings. The local Tigalle meal was a special highlight on our first day - compliments to Chef Nenella. It’s a stunning place and we’d love to come back. Local trips we did were to Lucca (about an hour), Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and Barga. Pizza Indie was a great recommendation from Leo. Our hosts were so responsive and wonderful to speak to. They couldn’t have been more attentive. I can def imagine we’ll be back in years to come. Highly recommend the his wonderful place to anyone who truly wants to get away and switch off. The mountain air and beauty is good for the soul.

We had a fantastic relaxing stay at this place. The house was large and had everything you need to make yourself comfortable. The house and garden offered a great atmosphere with its nice places to sit and relax or having our meals. Thank you Elena and Eugenio for your hospitality and great service.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Villa Toskana hier in Camaiore. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und bietet ausreichend Platz für 12 Personen. Es war alles da, was gebraucht wird - wir haben nichts vermisst. Der Empfang durch die im Ort ansässige Hausverwalterin Deborah war freundlich und unkompliziert. Auf Nachfrage erhielt man jederzeit Ratschläge zu Restaurants & Co. Im gesamten Haus war es sauber, Betten waren superbequem, Handtücher und Bettwäsche vorhanden. Ebenso mangelte es nicht an Geschirr. Ganz tolles Grundstück mit vielen Möglichkeiten zum Spielen - die Kinder waren immer gut beschäftigt. Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub!!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Villa. Sie liegt etwas abseits von Lucca, dafür aber sehr ruhig. Die Ausstattung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und die gesamte Unterkunft sehr sauber. Wir waren mit allem rund um zufrieden. Lediglich die Einfahrt gestaltet sich als Abenteuer und kann eher nur mit Kleinwagen erfolgen.

If we could give Antica Limonaia six stars we would! Dana and Andrea were excellent at communicating and we knew they were close by if we ever had an issue. It was lovely to be met by Andrea on our arrival and shown around the house to settle us in. The house itself is beautiful - so light and spacious. Plenty of room for us with our adult children and their partners. We cooked nearly every evening in the gorgeous kitchen which was so well equipped. The laundry area was useful and well stocked. There was beautiful crockery, china, cutlery, linens. I could write an essay on how exquisite everything was (don’t get me started on the pretty tea towels) but suffice to say it was all perfect for us and will leave lasting happy memories. The table football is sturdy enough for four 20-somethings to revert to childhood!

Very nice place with everything you need for a successful vacation. The kitchen and especially outdoor kitchen were well equipped to easily cook nice dinners for a bigger group. The pool was very nice. The house was clean and the bathrooms looked completely renovated. The best part was the hospitality of the owners. Very welcoming people that know the answer to all your questions about the area. Would recommend!

Das Haus hat mehrere Terrassen mit sensationellem Blick, neu gebaut und schöne Einrichtung, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr komfortabel und das Haus ist beheizbar.

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche. Der Pool war leider um diese Zeit viel zu kalt. Im Hochsommer gibt er bestimmt eine gute Abkühlung. Der Garten ist ein Paradies für Hunde. Wir waren 11 Erwachsene. Hierfür waren die 5 Zimmer zu wenig. Die Küchen Ausstattung war ausreichend für 12 Personen. Wir konnten ausgiebig kochen und grillen. Kaffeemaschine reichte leider nicht für alle aus. Da half dann nur die herkömmliche Methode. Der separate Weinschrank wurde von uns ausgiebig genutzt. Alles im allen ein guter Platz für Max. 10 Erwachsene und zwei kleine Kinder zu einer warmen Jahreszeit.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit privatem Pool! Der Pool wird während einem Aufenthalt nicht von den Besitzern benutzt. Man hat einen eigenen Eingang (elektrisches Tor) zur Unterkunft mit privaten Parkplätzen. Die Aussenanlage ist Videoüberwacht und hat eine Alarmanlage + es gibt im Aussenbereich eine Waschmaschine die man benutzen darf! (steht in der Beschreibung nicht drin) Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und gut erreichbar, falls man was braucht oder Fragen hat! In der nähe der Unterkunft gibt es eine wunderbare Pizzeria (ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss) und ein Restaurant/Bar (ca. 2 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt) Die Innenstadt Lucca ist ca. 30 Min zu Fuss entfernt. (Wer nicht gerne mit eingeschaltener Klimaanlage schläft wird schwitzen. Wir hatten in der Nacht eine Durchschnittstemperatur von 27-29 Grad) Alles in Allem war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit viel Privatsphäre! Wir kommen gerne wieder =)

Abbiamo passato una magnifica settimana nella casa di Vincenzo. Eravamo 2 famiglie con bambini (5 in totale). Gli spazi in casa sono stati perfetti per accogliere tutti. La posizione, a 15 minuti di auto dalle spiagge di Lido di Camaiore e a 35 minuti dalla bellissima Lucca, si è rivelata perfetta. Fuori dal caos, immersi nel verde e nella tranquillità. Vincenzo poi è un super host! Amichevole e disponibile. Assolutamente consigliato.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. The place is absolutely stunning. Everything was clean, well-maintained. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout our stay. The only downside was the swimming pool, which was frequently visited by a lot of bees. This made it difficult for the kids to enjoy the pool freely, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our time here and would still recommend it as a lovely place to stay!

Abbiamo passato 3 giorni fantastici nella villa di Daniele, immersa nella tranquillità della campagna toscana. Eravamo in 9 amici e la casa è stata perfetta per il nostro soggiorno: spaziosa, pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort. La piscina e la jacuzzi esterne sono state le protagoniste delle nostre giornate di relax, mentre la sauna interna ha aggiunto un tocco speciale alle serate. Gli spazi comuni sono ampi e ben organizzati e il portico esterno è ideale per fare una grigliata. Daniele è stato un host impeccabile: sempre disponibile e attento, ci ha fatto sentire subito benvenuti. Un soggiorno che consigliamo senza esitazioni, perfetto per chi cerca pace, comfort e un bel posto dove condividere momenti con gli amici.

Silvia est une hôte très accueillante et pro-active. Elle n'hésite pas a vous recommander des activités et restaurants à proximité. Son logement est très agréable et le cadre très beau ! Je recommande !

Incredible villa, meticulously maintained gardens and fruit trees, mesmerizing views and the gorgeous pool. Celebrated my father’s 70th birthday here with his kids and grandkids and we won’t forget it. Slice of heaven.
