The accommodation was beautiful, very peaceful and quiet with an amazing garden and wonderful bird life. Thera was a gracious host and made us feel welcome and at home. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a bit of tranquility and serenity.

It’s a great place, equipped with basic but essential appliances and very clean. Denise was friendly and proactive with communication. The beach is a few minutes away by car - with quite a number of restaurants to explore😊.

We really enjoyed our stay with David and Bonnie. The cabin is a true log cabin. We don’t see this often in South Africa. Everything was lovely. So peaceful and comfortable. They have a lovely dog, Chicco. He was very welcoming. The garden is beautiful. Such a lovely place. David gave us insights on where to go and things to do. Thank you, David and Bonnie, for a great stay.

This is the perfect cabin for a small family who love nature and want to explore vibrant Hermanus nearby. Selah Holiday Cabin II is a stylish, well-thought out and comfortable small home nestled in a private nature reserve. The estate offers access to a lagoon, beach, tennis courts and pool - perfect for a young, active family. If you're lucky, you may even spot the majestic wild horses that wander along this stretch of coastline. The living space feels bigger than it looks in pictures. It has everything we needed - a practical kitchen, a table to eat at, and a comfy couch. Our son loved the novelty of crawling around the upstairs bedroom. Finding a cupboard with games and books was a lovely surprise. We love that the cabin is a short drive from Hermanus. It means we could easily explore the bustling Hermanus in the morning and then head back to the estate for a relaxing afternoon. We look forward to coming back!

speaking to the point: 1. Great location, between beaches and mountains. Safe area, smiling people all around and large piers nearby. You can walk around the area with a great view. I fell asleep in absolute silence and woke up to the singing of birds 2. A completely new apartment, new furniture, appliances and everything else, it’s convenient to live, relax and work, as well as cook home-cooked food 3. The owner of the apartment is the best and most caring host I have ever met, and he is also an interesting and very reliable person, it’s just luck to know him I will remember this place fondly and I hope we will continue to communicate! And of course I will come back here with pleasure)

We loved all the staff. Courtney was very kindly with us. We had the best time at PIGCASSO. For sure I will recommend to my friends and family.

We stayed with Tamsin from Jan to April and enjoyed our time very much! The apartment is equipped with everything you need. The bedroom upstairs is super cosy and the house as such is just very unique, the location is perfect, really quiet but still extremely central. You can walk to the beach, supermarkets or the neighbourhood. It feels very safe and communal. Tamsin is a great host and always took care of everything immediately! I feel like I could have asked for ‘anything’ and she would have found a solution. The house is also self-sufficient in terms of electricity and water. The internet worked well for working from home. The work on the yacht next door (which is much less than originally stated) can be a bit noisy at times. But I'm sure if anyone needed some silence to work, Tamsin would manage. She works together with Addy, who also comes to clean every week. He is a really lovely and friendly guy who has put a lot of effort into everything. Thanks a lot, see you soon!

Goed wandelen, mooie indrukwekkend rivier. Ontspannen, ongedwongen setting. Veel gezamenlijke ruimtes. Gezamelijke keukens. Hippie/natuur/backpackers-vibe. Wij hebben genoten van de heerlijke bedden, rivier en uitzichten.

We stayed in the Wheat Cabin. The view was fantastic, the cabin well equipped with everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a great addition and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabin is private and the best break away from the hustle and bustle. Lida and Kobus were fantastic hosts and ensured that we had no shortcomings, including complimentary wine and homemade bread.We will be back soon!

Excellent séjour à la campagne - ce chalet a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un séjour agréable. Le bain chaud est un vrai plus! Merci pour les petite attentions (bouteille de vin, lait, café). Point à savoir : il n'y a pas de lave-vaisselle

Lovely location right by the beach with loads of shops and restaurants nearby. The house was lovely and very clean, had all the basics and is surrounded by other residence but still very secluded which we loved. Nolene was very friendly and helpful from beginning to end.

Our weekend in Kalk Bay staying at this beautiful and unique pad was absolutely perfect. We were welcomed in by a huge pod of thousands of dolphins in False Bay which was incredible. We were absolutely thrilled upon arrival to find a gorgeous home - stone, glass and wood with lots of local features and character. We loved spending hours on the deck soaking up the views and Kalk Bay vibe. It is in the perfect location in Kalk Bay - high enough to have amazing views of the mountain, harbour and ocean, and low enough to have easy access via stone steps to the wonderful shops, restaurants and bakeries in the village. We loved our walks along the seaside and our swims in the refreshing tidal pools, all within easy walk of this cottage. The hospitality from Greg, and Jane, was so warm and welcoming with lots of special touches to help us enjoy our weekend. This is a 10/10 experience and a stay that I highly recommend. This is going to become one of my favourite getaways!

I stayed at Bronwyn’s for a few weeks, it was a nice calm and green space that was a good base in Cape Town. Bronwyn was a really considerate and communicative host.

We will definitely return to enjoy the peace & tranquility that this hidden gem has to offer. It has all the qualities of a 5 star stay. A perfect getaway where one feels spoiled by the relaxed and scenic ambience along with the carefully selected decor of rustic meets modern. It catered for our every need. Our overall stay was more than great, and the hosts are super friendly and helpful. Our pup felt so at home because it felt like home to us..Pity we could not stay longer.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is very cosy with great views of the sea, a perfect base to relax and unwind. It’s a short walk/drive to the beach as well as a lovely coffee shop & deli. The cottage is also ideally situated for day trips to explore the area. Can’t wait to come back!

A lovely and cosy hide away very close to downtown Capetown, easy to reach using Uber. Stylishly decorated. Need to be able to handle steep stairs. Lovely view from a romantic terrace.

Carol was a very gracious host always making sure we were ok and if we needed anything just to let her know .She was open and forth coming .Her place is a little paradise up against the mountain, and very family friendly as there were animals and a pool with pool table and fuse ball for the kids .The chill area is very inviting with lots of seating ,a braai area close to the pool ,with 3 fire places scattered and lots of pretty lighting. The cabin was very comfortable and had all and more than was needed for self catering . She is a thoughtful host and very creative with her decor. I would definitely recommend staying at her place.

The area is peaceful and beautiful, close to the beach and lovely for neighbourhood walks. It is close to the Noordhoek Farm Village which has lots of good restaurants, a great deli and ice cream shop. Lovely for a weekend away or longer.
