Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft. Joao hat uns persönlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt und war bei Fragen schnell erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist groß und sehr schön eingerichtet, alles war super!

Really lovely accommodation with great views. The host was very responsive and was super helpful when we had a bit of an emergency. Highly recommended.

We loved the house, every room has a badroom. Great kitchen. We injoid the swimming pool and sauna. The communication with the LovelyStay was fast and easy.

La maison est spacieuse, très bien équipée et totalement conforme à l’annonce. La vue sur la mer est absolument magnifique, et le calme qui règne autour en fait un lieu parfait pour se ressourcer. Les chambres sont confortables, certaines avec balcon offrant une superbe vue, et la cuisine moderne dispose de tout le nécessaire. L’emplacement est également un atout : assez central, il permet de rejoindre les coins les plus éloignés de l’île en moins d’une heure. L’hôte a été extrêmement gentil et ponctuel au moment de notre arrivée, ce qui a grandement facilité notre installation. Top accueil ! Nous recommandons vivement cette villa pour un séjour paisible et agréable à Madère.

What a great stay! The home was spotless, had a comfortable vibe, and perfect location. Alexis was the most responsive host I’ve ever had, and his mom Eva was so accommodating and offered a ton of great advice for our trip. Delicious restaurants, a small grocery store and atm we’re a quick 5 minute walk away. I would definitely stay here again next time we come to Madeira!

We had a fantastic time on the island. In addition to the nature that makes Madeira so fascinating, we were also able to spend some very relaxing days in our accommodation. Everything was just like in the pictures, so we could start our vacation with a great feeling. The accommodation was modern, clean and very luxurious with a pool and the number of rooms, each with its own bathroom. And who wouldn't want to wake up with a view of the sea? Wonderful. Henrique was also easy to contact if we had any questions and check-in with the key box was very simple. There is a small supermarket in this small town if you need anything. Otherwise, Calheta is not far away with larger shopping facilities. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of the accommodation, although the accommodation with its large kitchen and outdoor grill is of course also perfect for a meal. Thank you for a wonderful time in Madeira, we'd love to come back!

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich schön. Die Unterkunft entsprach genau der Beschreibung und den Fotos. Julien war ein sehr netter kommunikativer Gastgeber, der gute Tipps für die Insel gegeben hat. Das Appartement ist großzügig, sauber und ist gut ausgestattet. Die Straße zur Unterkunft ist ziemlich steil. Man sollte daher ein entsprechendes Auto mieten. In der Nähe zur Unterkunft gibt es eine Baustelle, die gelegentlich zu hören ist. Dies hat unserem Aufenthalt aber nicht wesentlich gestört, da wir tagsüber unterwegs waren. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen.

Well what can I say about abor villa- By far the best air bnb we have ever stayed in. Absolutely exceptional and decorated beautifully, so artistic and clean and akin to a boutique hotel. Emma was a fantastic host, she made the whole stay exceptional for our young family. Personal touches such as a mini chair for our two year old with suitable cutlery, cups etc ready for us, even taking the trouble to remove the legs of the children’s bed so not too high from the ground. She provided a box of toys for our children and ensured staples were ready for us after a late flight so that the children had food and milk- something we whole heartedly appreciated. The position of the villa was ideal- close to the capital, excellent views , close to restaurants and local towns and ideally situated so easy to get to the northern sites of the island which really wasn’t far when renting a car. Emma was easily reachable and offered lots of recommendations. The pool and views exceptional, we will return!

J’ai passé une semaine de vacances absolument parfaite dans cette magnifique maison située à Madère. Le logement est spacieux, très confortable, impeccablement propre, et idéalement situé pour découvrir l’île. Tout est pensé pour qu’on s’y sente bien, et ça a vraiment été le cas. Franchement, je ne vois rien à redire tout était au top du début à la fin. Je recommande ce logement à 100 % et je n’hésiterai pas une seconde à y revenir lors d’un prochain séjour à Madère. A casa está extremamente bem localizada, numa zona tranquila e com uma vista deslumbrante para o mar. É o local ideal para descansar e aproveitar a paisagem. A casa está equipada com tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia confortável e sem preocupações. Foi uma excelente experiência — recomendo vivamente!

Nos hôtes, Jeanne et Cristiano, nous ont réservé un accueil chaleureux, avec des produits locaux à notre arrivée ! La maison est très bien située sur les hauteurs de Funchal, avec une vue incroyable sur l'océan (y compris depuis la douche italienne !). La piscine était très agréable (étant frileux, nous avons choisi de la chauffer), la cuisine parfaitement équipée, les chambres très spacieuses et confortables .... Nous avons aussi aimé la déco, les livres (notamment la collection de guides sur Madère en français !)... Tout était parfait, nous avons adoré notre séjour !

There was a group of 8 of us and we had the most amazing stay! The location is super close to the airport and the main town making it easy to get around. It is very private house so it feels like your own secluded space. The access to the beach is stunning and the large deck with the pool, sauna and BBQ make a perfect space to hang for the day. Would 100% recommend staying here! Thank you 😊

One of the best I’ve ever stayed at. The place was so spacious and open, yet felt like at home and cozy. Everything we needed was readily available/ easily accessible. The home is perched up in Ponta do Sol, so the view is of the homes below, and then the drop off to the ocean. Private pool was clean and big enough for our family of 7. Private parking is a gamechanger anywhere in Portugal, and you have a whole driveway which fit our enormous van. Lots of good hikes in every direction so you never feel like you’re driving too much, everything is about 40 minutes from this location, even the other side of the island. Host was so great responsive despite the hour difference from where she is located. Thank you so much for our stay we loved it.

Beautiful house overlooking Funchal & ocean. House was well equipped with everything you may need during your stay (pool towels, baby high chair, gym equipment, fresh linens & very well stocked kitchen appliances). Short drive to shops & restaurants. The house is on a steep hill, you will likely need a car to get around town. Host was responsive and communicative. Would stay again.

Wir durften fünf Tage in der wunderbaren Grey Rock Villa auf Madeira verbringen. Wechselndes Wetter ist mit diesen grossen Fensterfronten ein Schauspiel. Der Pool ist mit 24 Grad perfekt temperiert. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause. Fabrice und Ana kennen sich gut aus und geben wertvolle Tipps! Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder.

This is how AirBNB should be. The house is stacked with everything. How often are you in an Airbnb and they only have 6 plates? Here they have 20+, they have Great knives, tons of kitchenware, enough toilet paper, plenty of dishwasher tabs and also cleaner for the washing machine. Things you normally expect but somehow got lost in the making money machine Airbnb is now. Not here!! A absolute crazy welcome basket (have not had such a big one ever), friendly crew and absolute amazing place - can only recommend

A beautiful place, peaceful and with stunning views. The host Jun pays attention to the details when it comes to the amenities which makes all the difference. It was a perfect, restful stay, would highly recommend.

Ons verblijf bij Philippe was echt fantastisch. Het uitzicht is prachtig, vanaf het balkon kijk je neer op Paul do Mar en je hoort de oceaan vanuit de kamer. Alles was aanwezig wat dit tot een perfect verblijf maakte voor ons. Het was super. Philippe gaf ons ook leuke en handige tips voor in de omgeving, van wandelroutes tot restaurants.

Sonia was extremely friendly at check in and recommended many things in the area for us. The villa had everything we needed and was perfect for 2 adults and a 1 year old. Would definitely recommend Sonia’s place for a relaxing break in Madeira, thanks again!

Beautiful home in a very serene setting. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. We had alot of rain while we were there but loved spending time on the rooftop deck area and enjoyed the heated pool. The only downfall is there is not alot to do within walking distance. You definitely need a car. The main highway is very close which makes it convenient to explore the island. Definitely reccomend to eat at the family barbecue restaurant up the road (Restaurante Perreira) So delicious, beautiful setting and nice people!

Het uitzicht vanuit de tuin was werkelijk prachtig. Het huisje is zo dicht bij de zee dat je in je slaapkamer de branding kon horen. Verder was het ontzettend stil. Een heerlijk zwembad en tuin met verschillende zitjes en ook ligbedden zodat je altijd kon kiezen waar je wilde zitten. Er was zelfs een BBQ!

Wir hatten wunderbare Tage in der Unterkunft und würden diese jeder Zeit wieder buchen. Es war alles vorhanden was man brauchte und sehr sauber.

Everything was perfect in our stay, the villa and the hosts. Great communication and support from them. The views from the villa were stunning, the pool was great. The tranquility that one finds there is unique. We are a family of four and everybody is busy with stidies and work. That was a healing piece of heaven which we enjoyed every minute and highly recommend.
