The village of Lindoso is well known for its Medieval Castle and one of the largest clusters of typical granite granaries (”espigueiros”). This is an old stone house next to an old water mill. Both have been rebuilt in harmony with the traditional architecture of the region. It is an invitation to enjoy the peace and the landscapes of the rural environment. DESCRIPTION: One double bedroom with a bathroom (shower). Living/dining room with TV. Equipped with stove, microwave, coffee machine and fridge. Bed linens, towels, and products for breakfast included. Central heating, private parking and a small private area outside. The house has a pellet fireplace .

Casa da Oliveira (Casa das Oliveiras-G. Maps) is close to the village of Mesão-Frio (+/- 2 km), the gateway to Douro Vinhateiro. An old house, prior to 1950, was restored and maintains some of the original stone walls.
