Cottage vacation rentals in Canal du Midi

I put 5 stars because you can't put more. La Maison Prats was just what we were looking for: a house lost in the middle of the mountain but with all the amenities you might need. It's a spectacular house, with a panoramic view of the mountain and the possibility of seeing the stars from bed. Hosts François and Astrid are always available for anything you might need: they answered us right away, amazing. They both do everything possible to make you feel at home, although they always offer you maximum privacy and are only there if you need them. I recommend enjoying a dinner cooked by Astrid: it exceeds all expectations, we were delighted. And François will always know how to find the wine you like best to accompany the evening. If you have time, enjoy a massage by Astrid, this woman is pure talent. It was a perfect getaway, luxury combined with tranquility, very hard to find.

Excellent accommodation where we will surely return to enjoy the pool. Quiet, peaceful, ideal for nature lovers. Excellent quality bedding, all the little touches were there. That was really great!!

Cozy and well-equipped house, with outdoor areas to enjoy the outdoors. We went with small children and they could swim, swing and move freely. The rural setting is nice and quiet. Ideal for relaxing and enjoying the green landscape. Carole kept us very well informed at all times. Thank you very much.

Fantastic place to stay for a quiet romantic getaway, the house was so cozy and the spa was lovely! The place looks WAY better in real life than in the photos! An exceptional stay! The gite is so well set up from the glorious setting and peaceful atmosphere to the fast wifi, underfloor heating, modern interior, large comfortable bed and luxurious bedding. It is a little hidden gem, surrounded by beautiful countryside and our hosts were beyond amenable and welcoming. Colin’s incredible art just creates a wonderful atmosphere. Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had in a long time! Wouldn’t hesitate to return to this lovely gite in Aragon.

A very nice refreshing week at Charlotte and Laurent's. A very beautiful, cocooning and quiet lodge. We loved spending our evenings by the fire. We had a great week at the Coucou gîte! The hosts are very responsive, pleasant and available. The space was spotless and the environment magical. We felt at home and were sad to leave!

We had a great time at the artist's house. The setting is idyllic, the house restored with attention to detail and a lot of taste. The garden, the house and its decoration are really full of charm, probably the prettiest Airbnb we were able to stay in. Sasha and Mark (and Gwen the dog) whom we met the day after we arrived, were very welcoming, the communication went very well and they seemed very available in case of any problems. Their house is close but the artist's house keeps all its privacy. The surroundings, whether nature or small villages are great to explore!

The stay went perfectly. We were in a cocoon of sweetness, timeless, for this evening/night spent with the family. Louise was responsive (we booked in the morning for the same evening) and always very kind in all our exchanges.

A fantastic place to disconnect and slow down. Perfect if you enjoy simple pleasures like reading a book by the wood-burning stove. We really enjoyed our stay—the village is incredibly peaceful, and there are plenty of charming spots and activities to explore in the surrounding area.

We had a very comfortable stay in Mas de Brouat. The house is well equipped with a modern kitchen, spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a seperate bathroom with a bath. Apart from the modern look of the interior, I choose this house for the stunning view. The terrace outside gives a extensive view towards the south/west. The communication with the host went very smoothly and I always received quick response to my requests, both before and during my stay in the house. I would recommend this house for anyone who is looking for a comfortable house surrounded by nature. At night, the terrace will give you an excellent view to the night sky. A perfect place if you like stargazing or astrophotography. In the surrounding area you can visit old towns, wander through beautiful canyon landscapes and taste great local food.

Caroline and Jean Miguel really are the loveliest of hosts. And their gite is charming rustic and perfect for a chill and relaxing time in the peace of the beautiful surroundings and countryside. The cottage is deceptively spacious and very comfortable - we all slept really well!! The pool is fab for a morning dip or to cool down in the hot afternoon, and the garden and veranda/ conservatory were welcome added bonuses for relaxing outdoors in the evening with dinner and a beer/ glass of wine whilst playing Uno or game found in the games cupboard! Thanks Caroline and Jean Miguel for a wonderful stay. We hope to visit again.

We had a very pleasant stay in José and Anne's charming cottage. It is very functional and is perfect for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children). The environment is peaceful, and the beach and Christmas village are within walking distance. Many thanks to José and Anne for their warm welcome and advice.
