The castle is a magical place. Sleeping in a 16th-century room is a truly unique experience. Yves passionately shows you every corner of this incredible monument. The restoration work undertaken by Yves himself is simply impressive! And what about breakfast, worthy of the place! We will be back, for sure!

La maison d'Elise Rennes le Château, bedroom 2

ClairetteRating, 5 stars42 months ago
My daughter and I spent a few days in Rennes-le-Château at Elise's house at the end of October 2021. We recommend this accommodation for the welcome of our host, the exceptional location, the very clean bedroom (view of the castle) as well as the bathroom. We did not get a chance to have breakfast at Alex's because of covid but right across the street is "the bistro of the friends" very convenient. Rennes-le-château is definitely worth the trip.

The Bastide Suite

DebbieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We felt right at home and warmly welcome at Marianne’s place. We, and the kids had the best time in the beautiful garden - breakfast and Dinners with this spectacular view will stay in our memories forever. Marianne took great care for little details - a bottle of Wine was a great welcome gift after a long travel day. She was always responsive for any questions we had. We can totally recommend this place, the beautiful indoor and outdoor space are exactly like on the pictures- even better! We would love to come back one day!😊 Thank you Marianne for making our holiday so special!

Château de Roche, 30 minutes from Toulouse

Pleasant stay with our friends , the shared breakfasts allowed us to get together. For our part, the room is very nice, however, in the bathroom, just a bathtub, difficult to take a shower because the water flow is really too low .
A serene raised stone pool is surrounded by a beautifully crafted stone wall, incorporating potted plants and greenery. Sunlight reflects off the water's surface, while the ancient stone structure provides a historic backdrop, enhancing the peaceful outdoor area.

Chateau d'Aragon the Medieval experience!

DavidRating, 5 stars31 months ago
Spacious, atmospheric property in lovely, friendly village. It sits high up in the village but it is only a 5 minute walk down the hill to the village store. The shop has a really friendly owner who organised us a wonderful wine tasting with charcuterie and cheese. He sells a wide variety of products and has a really good wine cellar of local wines. He also does takeaway pizza on Fridays and Saturdays. The local hotel has a restaurant and supplied us with a takeaway cassoulet. The chateau is well equipped and spacious. Only one room has a shower but all the rest have a roll top bath with shower fitting. The village itself is well situated to explore a number of vineyards and nearby towns and the roads were very quiet.
A wooden deck area provides outdoor seating with a round table and folding chairs. A potted plant sits on the ground beside a blue container. The surrounding space features natural greenery and a stone wall, offering a blend of privacy and tranquility.

nice experience at Amelie's... it's not often that we have the opportunity to sleep in a place full of history... The decor is neat and the castle is perfect for a group of 8 people! Thank you Amelie and Jacqueline for your warm welcome and your small touches that were well appreciated! I recommend without hesitation!
