We had the absolute pleasure of spending three unforgettable days at Paolo and Monica’s 800-year-old farmhouse — and it was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. The home itself is stunning: full of history, character, and comfort, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. Each morning, Paolo and Monica prepared a beautiful, fresh breakfast spread complete with homemade cakes and warm, delicious options that started our days off with so much care and joy. The hospitality was truly beyond compare — Paolo and Monica are salt-of-the-earth people with hearts of gold. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting with the many animals they lovingly care for. From eagles and owls to donkeys, horses, peacocks, ducks, and sheep — it felt like something out of a storybook. Monica’s passion for rescuing and training animals is inspiring, and added such a special, personal touch to the experience. Thier home is filled with beauty, warmth, and heart. How can we even put into words what an incredible experience this was! Antonella was kind and helpful, and her home is just stunning. She made us feel so at home even with our limited Italian. She prepared us a home cooked, four-course meal one night and it was absolutely delicious. She even gave us the leftovers so we could have them for breakfast the next day. The villa was breathtaking and in a perfect location to visit beautiful towns in Tuscany like Pienza, Montepulciano and San Gimignano. We especially loved the pool and visiting with the animals. This was a bucket list stay for us and worth every penny!

Die Kommunikation vor unserer Anreise war sehr gut, die Gastgeberin hat sehr schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert und sich selbst auch proaktiv bei uns gemeldet. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und durften sogar 1h früher einchecken. Uns wurde alles in und um das Haus gezeigt. Das Haus und der Garten + Pool waren sehr sauber. Die Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern waren wichtig und haben auch gut funktioniert. In der Küche findet man alles was man benötigt. Der Garten ist schön groß und top gepflegt. Auch der große Pool mit dem wunderschönen Ausblick hat uns begeistert. Die Gastgeber, die ca. 50m neben an wohnen, haben sich jeden morgen um den Pool gekümmert und geprüft ob dort alles okay ist. Die Anfahrt war auch relativ einfach. Ca. 30 Minuten Autofahrt zum Haus gibt es einen großen Coop Supermarkt, wo wir einkaufen waren. Das Meer ist auch nur 30 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und haben unseren Urlaub als 6 Personen Gruppe voll genossen!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem tollen Anwesen, welches von zahlreichen Olivenbäumen umgeben ist. Alle waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und haben uns tolle Tipps zum Essengehen etc. gegeben. Abends haben wir immer direkt dort gegessen - einfach empfehlenswert. Sehr leckere regionale Küche. Wer es entspannt und ruhig möchte ist dort super aufgehoben. Wir haben es geliebt und uns total wohl gefühlt. Alles in allem super top, wir kommen gerne wieder :).

Quelle aventure extraordinaire Leonie et Nico nous ont permis de vivre. La vie dans la campagne de Toscane à son meilleure . De plus, à chacun de nos besoins, ils étaient au petits soins et étaient très généreux de leurs conseils. Dieses Haus mit dem umliegenden Garten, eingebettet in eine traumhafte Landschaft, ist ein absolutets Paradies. Der Garten ist riesengross, wunderschön angelegt und sehr gepflegt. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend und wir haben täglich direkt vom Haus aus Wanderausflüge und Biketouren unternommen. Die Ruhe ist unglaublich, man hört meistens nur Vögel und wenn es eindunkelt die Nachtigall. Auch das Haus selber lässt keine Wünsche offen. Äusserst sauber, inkl. in den Schränken und Schubladen. Es ist alles da was man braucht, aber (trotz sehr geschmackvoller Dekoration) nicht überstellt. Einfach genau richtig und alles sehr hochwertig. Superbequemes Bett & Sofa und wunderschönes Badezimmer. Veronica ist eine herausragende Gastgeberin und ihre Mutter (welche uns empfangen hat) sehr symphatisch. Wir bekamen Geschenke direkt aus dem Garten und Veronica ist reaktionsschnell und äusserst zuvorkommend in der Kommunikation. Man merkt vom Anfang bis zum Schluss, wie viel Liebe in diesem Haus steckt.

Property is amazing, host so friendly and helpful… Honestly we spent very little time on the property as we were exploring so much of Tuscany during our stay with the lovely location as our home base. But it was so beautiful to wake to every day and come “home” to late every evening :) During our 6 days, we explored Florence, hung out in Siena, hiked Chianti trails, visiting all over from Monteriggioni to San Gimignano to Volterra… and throughout Val d’Orcia from Montepulciano to Pienza , Pitigliano to Serano… and north to Lucca & Pisa. Just wonderful location :) Thank you so much!

‘Peaceful’ is the word to describe this space and the entire surrounding area. The home is perfect, with everything that you need. The view, the grounds, the pool are all wonderful. Catrina’s hospitality - attention to detail and communication are top notch. Wonderful recommendations for neighboring restaurants and a day trip into Florence. My stay was incredible and I hope to return one day. Grazie mille Catrina!
