Casa Rural La Fontina de Tene

Javier's house is great! Tastefully restored and very spacious. We went with another family and in addition to the large rooms, the common spaces were spacious, so we were all very comfortable! The children didn't want to leave the house or the village because they were so happy. It is located in a very well-preserved and charming traditional village. The views of the house are amazing, and it is very well located. We took the opportunity to do the Xanas and Senda del Oso routes, which were very close. Javier was very attentive and answered all our questions, as well as advising us on possible routes. We hope to come back some day!!! Highly recommended!!

We were very lucky to be able to spend a week here in August. The house is in an exceptional location, beautifully furnished & equipped, and just so relaxing to be in. None of us wanted to leave. Sara & Rafa were great to communicate with and had lots of useful suggestions for things to do in the area. We would definitely love to go back.

FRIENDLY HOME

Marleni and Pili are wonderful hosts. Casa Amable is immaculately clean, has lovely comfortable furniture and is beautifully equipped. Quiet village location, amazing views of the surrounding mountains but with easy access to main roads makes it an ideal base for exploring Asturias. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A real home from home like this is very rare. Highly recommended.

Maria was very helpful and kind at all times. The stay was spectacular. The place is quiet, spacious. Everything worked perfectly. We don't have pets. But we were struck by the area they have with sheets, a crib and towels for pets. Everything is very nice. We will definitely be back!

Aitor's house

Apartamento impeccable, all new, very clean, tidy, with everything you need for a perfect stay. Aitor took care of us at all times and was very attentive to us. In addition, he did everything in his power to see bears but it could not be, so we will be forced to have to return to his house, to see if next time there is more luck :). Totally recommended, thank you very much for everything.

Next to the river and 5 minutes from Somiedo

KarenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wow, what a beautiful location right along a crystal-clear river, close enough to let it lull you to sleep at night. Perfect for those looking for a peaceful place to stay surrounded by picturesque scenery and just a short drive from Somiedo. It has lots of character as a converted historic mill and Juan is a very kind and responsive host too. Do keep in mind you'll want to stop at a supermarket to pick up any cooking supplies and other items you might need, such as cooking oil, salt, pepper, spices, condiments, coffee, and paper towels. If you find yourself in need of something, the small village of Belmonte is only about a 10-minute drive away.
A traditional stone structure with a thatched, moss-covered roof is set against a dramatic mountainous backdrop. Lush greenery surrounds the building, with distant mountains partially shrouded in clouds, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and natural beauty.

Rural apartment in the mountain

Highly recommend staying in this wonderful little tradition home. In a gorgeous village we had wonderful walks. The apartment was spotless. Lovely made beds. Cost fire and gorgeous views. Daniel was excellent and communicating and his lovely mum was here on arrival and super kind. Their family owns a restaurant in the next village (3o min lovely walk) and they do the world’s best pizza! Nice wine or drinks and delicious bread and cake to take away. We would definitely come back. This place is a dream x THANK YOU X
