Vacation rentals with a kayak in Callaway

The house was beautiful, comfortable, and the perfect space for us. The location is just a few blocks to the beach, the golf cart was great and parking for the cart right at the beach access location, get the golf cart. Very quiet part of the beach, no crowds, high rises, or traffic. The beach was not crowded. I was shocked how well stocked the house was, Zachary literally thought of everything guests would possibly need and then some. Beach gear included was an additional plus. Communication with Zachary was quick and easy. We did not need to reach out during our stay as everything was perfect. Highly recommend this beautiful home and its wonderful host Zachary. This was our first trip to the Port St. Joe area . We loved how beautiful the beach was and the neighborhood was so cute! The house was exactly like the pictures and the attention to detail was outstanding! We enjoyed all the amenities: the golf cart, the bikes and all the games were enjoyed by everyone! We liked the slower pace of the area and even though we went on a holiday weekend, we felt like the beach was still very relaxed. The house had everything we needed for cooking and for the beach , it was so nice to not have to pack all of those things! And the beds were super comfortable, especially the master bedroom! It was luxurious! Kate was so helpful and responded immediately when I had a few questions. We loved the Sunrise cafe for smoothies and ice cream and we also drove to nearby Mexico beach to shop and to Reid street to shop and eat several times. The PSJ grill was our favorite. We will definitely be returning!

The most peaceful property! Tucked away yet close enough to enjoy nearby restaurants and shopping. The property was very neat and clean, and beautifully decorated. The screened in porch was perfect for outdoor dining. We enjoyed being right on the lake and even caught a few fish. Would definitely recommend this property and would love to visit again. The host was very quick to respond and very helpful.

Honestly, this is one of the best decorated, most well-stocked, awesome vacation rentals we’ve ever visited. The golf cart made getting to the beach and pool a breeze. You can literally get to both within 2 minutes. The only thing I would have changed is booking for a longer period of time. We will 100% be back!! Loved it so so much! If you’re looking for a getaway in this area, this is THE PLACE!! And Christina was AWESOME!!! I’d rate it and her 10 if I could!!

We had the best time at Joan's Place! We brought our dog and stayed several days. It was clean, quiet and peaceful. The outdoor shower was a life saver because we were able to walk in with our dog and all three of us could get clean. There was plenty of room for all of us and the shower was hand held. We could wash the sand off of pup's belly and legs easily. The outdoor cooking area was great and there was plenty of seating. We spent most of our time out there when we weren't at the beach. The inside was comfortable. There is plenty of prep area in the kitchen and the primary bath was roomy enough. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of cool floor space for our exhausted dog. We would definitely stay at Joan's Place next time!

We enjoyed our family vacay and Charles was very responsive any time I contacted him prior to or during our stay with questions. The house is as described, very nice and clean. Our favorite part was being able to drive the golf cart around the neighborhood and to the pool although it is a very close walk to the pool. I’m not sure who enjoyed the golf cart more, the grandkids or the Dads. :) The beach was not crowded at all which was great. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend this house. You will love it! It feels like home away from home. Thank you for great family memories that were made during our stay!

A fantastic stay! This was a super clean place, plenty of room and easy access to the beach from our deck. We were supplied with everything needed for a day at the beach, no need to bring anything extra, for it is provided. This is a peaceful and quiet beach area. No hustle and bustle of the downtown area but within a 20-30 minute drive to dining and play for all ages. Parking is limited with easy entry. Two car max. Do not hesitate to book here, it is worth every penny for this convenience!

This is our second time staying with them. One of our favorite thing's to do is to see shell island that is a 15 min ride. You will not find another peaceful, lovely getaway for the price. The owners are there 24/7 if you should need them. They are amazing people who do the best they can to insure your stay is the perfect. The pier fishing is set up for everything you need to catch and cook your fish. Their son Jack has a nice fishing boat he now does fishing charters. Walking from your Airbnb to your pier to kickstart a day of catching fish is just another added bonus when staying there. The condo has everything you need and very clean. The only thing missing is you. If you need to get away to regroup, just the silence and the sound of the oceans waves alone will help out tremendously. We decided to book a place close to Panama City Beach to vacation. The stay was at a great location by a fresh water lake and about 30 minutes from PCB. We were allowed an early check-in which was awesome to be able to spend the day longer. The laundry room is communion shared and there is room to park a 25 foot boat or greater I'll say. The only drawback is if you plan on cooking large home meals, the kitchenette is limited. Overall this was a good value and I feel will succeed for future occupants.

Probably one the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in in Florida! Visited our daughter and son in law and our 3 month old grandson that live nearby. We came from Clearwater. Spotless, clean and inviting! Loved the porch and spent a lot of time in the rockers and swing in morning and evening enjoying the birds on the feeder and wind chime 🎶🎶. Nice big bedrooms and master bath. Very close to restaurants (Uncle Ernie’s is always great) Copper Tap Grill is good. PCB is about 15 minutes away or less. Schooner restaurant there is on beach and really good. Great location and we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us, Barbara! Was nice talking with you too.

The Lake House was awesome! We had 5 people in our group and the three rooms were perfect for everyone to have their privacy plus space to gather together. Everything was very clean and stocked with Airbnb basics. We enjoyed the back porch, the view of the lake, and watching the wildlife. The pier, kayaks, and canoe are a plus! (Just be aware there are small alligators in the water.) It is definitely a peaceful retreat space that’s close enough to Panama City to enjoy restaurants, etc without having to stay in the chaos. It was a great find!
