This apartment was great for my 2-week stay in Madeira. The apartment had everything I needed and was a great location to travel from to other parts of the island. The location is great with the beach, some shops, and restaurants all within walking distance. And, there was also plenty of parking around the apartment for my rental car. The balcony has a brilliant view and gets the sun for most of the day. Great place overall!

We had the perfect stay here. The place is lovely, we had everything we needed and in a great location with stunning views of Funchal. We had hired a car during our time here which I’d recommend, there is onsite parking. It was easy enough to get a Bolt when we wanted to go out and drink in an evening. Paula and José were both friendly and helpful and communication was great. Highly recommend staying here, we had the best time!

Louise meets and exceeds the high expectations that her amazing ratings and reviews set for you. She's a very warm and experienced host who knows how to put you at ease and answer all your questions before you have the need to ask them. Her intro and tour to help you situate yourself in the location is very helpful. The recommendations she gives for the hamburger shop (great vegetarian burger) and BBC (great option for swimming and sunbathing sans beach) are spot on. The cottage is cozy, has ample outdoor seating and pristine linens/cleaning. The laundry machine (accessed through the parking area) is very convenient and saved my butt at the end of the stay. Just remember to bring your own hand soap for the bathroom! I kept windows open for circulation in the day and closed at night for mosquitoes. It is about a 20 min walk downhill to the centre and uphill on the way back. 1.95 euro bus one way if you dont get a bus card and 4.50 by bolt. 100% would come back & recommend!!

We stayed at Luna's place for 9 days. From check-in to departure, we felt right at home. Luna is always available for questions and super helpful. The accommodation is perfect for 2 people to explore the island. I would recommend anyone to book this place. The accommodation has a super equipped kitchen with everything you need. The rest of the accommodation fully met our expectations and more. With small touches, Luna manages to make the stay even more enjoyable. Thank you for the wonderful time :)

Well presented apartment with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials, crockery and cookware. We love an air bnb kitchen that provides salt, petter, olive oil! They even had a selection of spices for cooking. The host was also super responsive. Helping us when needed. The main road was a little noisy but got used to it after a few days. This was a perfect pit stop for exploring the island. Main Funchal centre was a 10-15 minute walk downhill. Garden area was lovely and private.

The apartment was spotless and had good basic equipment. It is remote from shops and restaurants, but right next to the excellent bus route 29 that links the apartment to Funchal town centre, plus interesting places such as the Jardim Botanico, the cable car to Monte and two levada walks. Our only criticism was the local dogs barking a lot - but that wasn't Lino's fault! Lino was a great communicator (and his English is fluent) and he was most helpful on our arrival. He drove us from the airport and back, and also drove us into town on our first evening to stock up the fridge with food.
