The accommodation is great, everything as described and in the photos. It is a bit dated, but we felt very comfortable there. Bruno gave us a very warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know. When there was a problem with the water pump on the second day, he sorted it out very quickly. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

This place is awesome! Elvio is the best host. Clear instructions and directions (it’s a tricky place to find) but his instructions were perfect. The pool is private and a good home base after lots of hiking. We recommend hiking as early as possible and going back to enjoy the pool later. The restaurant up the mountain from the house is amazing (Calheta Green). And a recommendation from the host. Love this place!

This place exceeded all expectations. The apartment was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos—if not better. The location was great, with easy access to everything I needed, but still peaceful and quiet. The host was welcoming, responsive, and made check-in super easy. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space. It felt like a true home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed by Fernando. The villa is situated in a beautiful and quiet location, offering amazing views and a lovely pool that's perfect for cooling down. You can really feel the warm hospitality of the host right away. During our stay, we had a small issue with the toaster, and Fernando replaced it immediately — a great example of his attentiveness and care. We had a peaceful and relaxing time, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway. Please note that the ascent to the house is quite steep, but this is completely normal given the island's topography — and the views are well worth it! Highly recommended. Villa Panorama is an amazing place to relax and to visit Madeira. The photos reflect well, is very comfortable place, views to the ocean are stunning, and equiped with everything you need. For a family of five, as we are, it was perfect experience. Location, while a little far from Funchal, is well connected and great to visit the multiple amazing locations of the island. There are groceries close by, even in Sunday we could find open places at 6 min from the Villa. Especially great are the hosts. Rui and João Carlos are extremely responsive and friendly, and they make everything easy and well organised. We would definitively come back again and we highly recommend Villa Panorama without doubt.

Clean. Cute decor. Epic view. Provided sufficient towels, kitchen spices, oil and vinegar. Hot water was abundant. No window coverings. Bring eye mask. Lumpy and sloped mattress in main bedroom. Could be a quite a walk from parking especially in high season as you have to park further and further. No toaster. Oven works, it just takes a lot longer. Lighting is a mixed bag. Some stark blue fluorescent, some warm. Poor lighting in bathrooms. Lots of little flies that swarm in a circle inside if you have the doors open. No fans.

Very well-decorated accommodation that matches the photos. Hosts are extremely responsive and caring. If you have a comment, you can be sure they will do their best to resolve it. Small downside on the kennel which is certainly across the valley because the dogs bark. But it remains occasional about 3-4 times a day for 10 min, it's not continuous (at feeding time?). There are also a lot of bugs that come every day (centipedes and we had a few cockroaches). The apartment was however very clean when we arrived. I think they're getting in because there's a gap between the doors and the floor. A seal might help. But it's easy to put outside with a scraper and it's the countryside, it's understandable. Apart from these minor drawbacks, we loved our accommodation and recommend it, hence the 5 stars!

We had a fantastic stay at Filipe’s home, which is beautiful and really thoughtfully designed. It’s very well appointed, spotlessly clean and in a very charming little village away from the hustle and bustle of Funchal, but still accessible by car. Communication was excellent and the fruit and biscuits were a lovely touch. Highly recommended.

Beautiful cottage in a very quiet location, ideal for relaxing. Private parking, well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. On the terrace, the sun shines until 9 pm with a view of the sea and the mountains.

Such a beautiful house on the mountain. You have the sea view. Rui very helpful, he helped us a lot with checking in. You have to be able to drive properly when booking this accommodation. The best way is to use the way according to the instructions of the landlord. The surroundings are fantastic, very quiet and very private. We will definitely come back.

Absolutely loved our stay here for the week! We loved the ability to walk into town and grab food at any time. We found a number of great restaurants! We also loved being within the energy of the town of Camara De Lobos. It was very warm, welcoming, and vibrant. We loved the home and felt it was clean, beautiful, and the perfect opportunity to slow down life and enjoy the sound of the ocean. The breeze was able to keep us cool (mid February visit for us), the sound of the ocean helped us drift off peacefully, and we enjoyed the opportunity to lounge in the sun on the many decks available. Parking was simple and free right around the house. We had very prompt communication and felt very supported. Overall the location was a great spot to adventure to the rest of the island. If we ever return to Madeira this is where we will be staying!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, modern Airbnb! The apartment is brand new and stylishly furnished, with everything you could possibly need—especially the fully equipped kitchen, which was a dream to cook in. The highlight was definitely the private whirlpool—perfect for relaxing after a long hiking day. We were warmly welcomed by the property manager, Charlene, who allowed us an early check-in and made sure we felt right at home. Both Charlene and the host, Jose, were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The place is also extremely baby-friendly, with a lovely play corner and even a few thoughtful gifts for our 7-month-old baby. We truly appreciated the sweet welcome gifts for us as well.

Everything was perfect! The host was super friendly. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, the place was clean and exactly as described. When we had a small issue, the host responded quickly and solved it right away. Check-out was just as easy. Would definitely stay again!

To start with, I never put 10 because perfection does not exist but I regret that we can't give a rating of 9.9!!! The house is super welcoming and perfectly equipped. There was even salt and pepper, oil and vinegar which we can't find much now, plus two “welcome presents,” which becomes extremely rare. We stayed in the northernmost room: PERFECT bedding! (Which, too, becomes very rare). In addition, the location is ideal for visiting Madeira and the sunsets in early May (Good, only 5 out of ten evenings because of the curious weather) were beautiful! The layout (bedroom + dressing room + bathroom) is also perfectly thought out. The “winter lounge” which allows you to have breakfast and dinner overlooking the sea and warm is also a plus. Perfect contact and responsiveness of the host, even at 6 am (storm and power outage)!!!. In short, a great stay

The place was just great and exceeded our expectations! The house is really huge, you have plenty of space and privacy, even if you travel as a group. The pool was heated at our request and the temperature was very pleasant. Simply a dream when you can watch the sunset while lying in the pool. The amenities were also great, everything we needed was there. In addition, a garage, we were able to park the second car in front of the gate. The location was quiet, only on weekends there is a lot going on in the restaurants at the end of the street, also many motorcycle drivers who are not exactly quiet. But it was still fine. Overall, the accommodation is highly recommended and the landlord is very friendly.

We met Hugo, who is super friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help answer questions regarding the home or recommendations for activities and restaurants in Madeira. The home is as described and as shown in the photos - completely clean and beautifully decorated with everything you need for a holiday in a quiet setting. A great stay that I can only recommend others, too.

We had a very peaceful journey at Juan’s cottage! At the top of a typical village on the island. Juan was very friendly, reactive and with good advice. Obrigado !!
