Waterfront vacation rentals in Cala Gonone

We had a great time. The apartment and its location are also perfect for a holiday with small children. The large garden with a covered terrace offers children plenty of opportunities to get around and play in the open air. We really liked the open air shower and a barbecue space. The area is quiet and very close to the sea! After a 10-minute walk, you can reach a beautiful sandy beach with clear, shallow water. Riccardo was very helpful and sociable. It was a great holiday for us.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is close to the beach, well-equipped, and we enjoyed being able to eat outside. Gesuina was accommodating and adapted our checkout time. there were a lot of mosquitoes (in April!)

Great place, less than 5 minute walk to the Porto Frailis beach. You can see the beach as soon as you leave the place. Very spacious house, we had our own parking spot, and nice garden at the entrance. Very recommended!

Beach house incl. direct access to the beach. A dream. Sunrises and the beach exceptional. The house has everything you need is well-equipped and very comfortable. Lorenzo always helped us quickly and directly. A host the way you want him. Thank you for everything! We will be happy to come back and give a 100% recommendation.

Paola is a great person and the perfect host. Friendly, with a lovely family. The place was ideally clean. You have to say it's a bit dark because it's partially on the ground floor (but it's stated in the first sentence of the description, and we came fully aware of it). We spent two nights at this property. We especially liked that many things are within walking distance - even at the end of October. Unfortunately, it was rainy, so we were never in the lounge or garden. Very close to the sea! In the small kitchen, we found almost everything. Nicola helped us with the olive oil😊. It is a beautiful place, we loved the week we spent there. Modern, well equipped, well cleaned and maintained. I appreciated the modern kitchen and adjustable blinds and mosquito nets built in the windows. Got many good tips on what to do around and found it easy to communicate with everyone.

Tito's place was positioned right on a beach, close to lots of beautiful spots for swimming and hiking. We went in November so we unfortunately a lot of restaurants were closed but we made use of the kitchen. Thanks for a great stay!

Upon arrival, unfortunately, the cleanliness in our place was not as we expected. Federica responded super quickly and extremely professionally and immediately organized a replacement accommodation. Here everything to our best satisfaction. Federica apologized a lot and everything was done for us👍. Mistakes can happen. We assume that this will not happen to her and therefore make a recommendation for Federica as a host.

We had a wonderful stay at Matteo's house, which is nestled on a hill surrounded by bushes and rocks, offering a truly private retreat. The beautiful views from the property added to the overall charm of our experience. There is decent outdoor space for sunbathing, complete with an outdoor shower and a grill, making it perfect for enjoying the sunshine. The spacious driveway can easily accommodate several cars, which is a great convenience. The sandy and quiet beach is only about a 20-minute walk away, enhancing the location's appeal. A lovely touch was the bottle of wine left by the owner, along with a few snacks, coffee, and tea, which we could enjoy for breakfast since this was our first stop and we hadn’t had a chance to buy any food on the way. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. However, we did encounter a little issue with water pressure, which might be problematic if you’re looking to wash your hair. Overall, it was a lovely getaway in a serene setting.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is great - the kitchen is extremely clean and the bedroom very spacious. Especially in the evening, we really appreciated the fly screens in all rooms. The view from the balcony is a 10/10 and gave us a vacation feeling every morning and evening. The apartment is very well equipped - from the Sardinia travel guide, to numerous pots and dishes, shampoo, detergent, to the parasol for beach and balcony. We also appreciated small things, such as a blanket over the sofa, a clothes rack or detailed information on waste disposal and separation. Communication with Antonio was also great - he always responded immediately and was always there to help us with excursion tips. The location of the apartment is quiet and away from mass tourism - therefore a car is definitely necessary. We had the beach almost to ourselves - just wonderful. Thank you for the lovely holiday!

Great location, spacious and cozy apartment. We were welcomed with a wine bottle and local cakes. The kitchen and bathroom are modern, and the apartment has a homey and rustic touch. Great terrace overlooking the sea. Short distance to the beach. The waves can make noise and it can get cold inside but there is a pellet fireplace that provides good heat. All you need of kitchen equipment, towels etc. We came out of season (April) but there are several eateries and shops nearby. Also recommend Pedra longa, nice hiking trails! We are very happy with our stay and would love to come back!

It was a wonderful stay in Sardinia. The apartment is designed with a lot of love and equipped us super sensibly. The sea around the corner makes the accommodation the perfect base for beach days.

Very good stay at Frederica's, we enjoyed the tranquility, the view, the comfort of the pool, the accommodation is basic but just what you need!! Despite the language barrier and the lack of telephone network, we enjoyed our exchanges with Frédérica who provided us with all the information we needed for our stay from the garbage cans to the local butcher shop.

It has been a pleasure staying in this Airbnb. Maria is so nice and welcoming. She had kindly bought some snacks for our arrival. The check in and out went very smoothly as she is very flexible and responsive. The flat is well located and furnished with all the amenities needed. We hope to come back soon and highly recommend this Airbnb!

What an amazing location with gorgeous view overlooking the town. The apartment had evening we needed including beach umbrella and a cool bag. Magarita gave lots of recommendations and communicated well. I will say that check-in could have been slightly clearer. We did arrive at 11pm in the middle of a massive storm which didn’t help. But perhaps some arrows on the images shared pointing towards key parts of the images? We were not given an apartment number or anything, only an apartment floor but Magarita replied very quickly when we asked. I am not sure if there was meant to be a number or name on the apartment door (and it had been accidentally removed??) but there was nothing on the door to indicate it was the right one! I will also say that the bed was quite hard and were given 1 flat pillow each. My neck and back hurt most mornings. I understand that this is down to preference though!

The accommodation is very nice and well-kept. Very well equipped and perfect in all its spaces including the parking for the car. Very bright with a beautiful terrace that unfortunately, given the rain we could use little! Highly recommended

Beautifully furnished apartment with everything you need to feel good (including salt, pepper, vinegar, oil, tea, towel, sponge, dishwashing liquid, etc.). Incredibly beautiful view of the bay, magnificent roof terrace. In the area, great hikes in dream bays (optionally also by boat), various restaurants within walking distance. Very nice contact with Eva, many useful tips in the apartment. We would come back anytime.

Francesco was a wonderful person, very helpful, very polite and very discreet, very friendly person who will welcome us, he will take you around the country showing you, the local shops will show you the most beautiful beaches, remaining very discreet, although he lives on the upper floor of the accommodation, in case of need he will be ready to help you.. Always.. Small, but very clean accommodation, 20 Mt from the sea, in front of the village square in which you will find a wide choice of excellent restaurants, in some of these you will even be given a discount going on his behalf as he is a person known in the country.. Francesco was an exquisite person... Experience to try and then repeat... The morning coffee taken in front of the sea is not priceless.. In case of need, you will be always ready and polite who will be able to indicate other places to visit... Accommodation also equipped with air conditioning... in addition to a host... You will find a friend...

Small apartment just next to a beach. We were working remotely from the apartment. Wifi wasn’t good, but according to Graziano, that should change in the future. Also the kitchen is really small and on the opposite side of the apartment that the table. We appreciated washing machine, huge terrace and closeness of the sea. Graziano is really nice guy.

Wonderful stay with an even better host. The apartment is centrally located within a 1 minute walk to the port where you’ll take your boat to all the beaches, 1 minute walk to the supermarket, and 0-3 minute walk to the restaurants depending on where you chose to dine. The apartment is exactly as shown, safe, clean, and again the hosts are a gem. Enjoy.
