Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Caen

Réunis en famille à 8. Compte tenu du temps maussade et parfois pluvieux , la piscine intérieure a été très utilisée. Proche des plages du débarquement et du Pegasus Bridge. Maison aménagée et décorée avec goût. Adapté pour 8 personnes. Très belle location.

We spent three nights at Aurelie and Alessandros Airbnb. We were greeted by Aurelie welcoming us with crisp, fresh local apple juice and biscuits. The place was a nice quiet location to retreat to after busy days of sightseeing around Normandy and its landing beaches. In the village there was a well stocked supermarket and a great bakery (with the most amazing bread!) The accommodation was quiet, private and secluded as well as clean, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen had a great dishwasher, fridge and appliances. Our favourite area was the bathroom, so spacious and modern, yet cosy, with a really nice hot shower. The bedroom had plenty of storage space for clothes and the bed was comfy. The heating in the radiators wasn’t on, but we were told to just ask if we felt we’d like it on (in hindsight a little bit of heat could have made especially bed linen feel less cool to get in at night). All in all we feel we had a very comfortable and restful stay. Thank you to our lovely hosts!

We were pleasantly surprised by the little community there and especially the restaurant when we arrived rather late. Our hosts were very accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely rebook.

We were a group of pensioners on a photographic trip. The accommodation was perfect for our requirements. The beds were extremely comfortable and had some of the best night's sleep I've had for sometime. The location is perfect for our requirements, within an easy driving distance of the Normandy Coast, which is what we required. It is only a short distance to the city centre of Caen and quite a few restaurants within easy driving distance. The accommodation is on a equine farm but is perfectly clean and tidy. If I could mention one small detail as I wonder if we could've been provided with larger bath towels as we were all gentleman of a certain build. Gael was an exceptional host and very helpful when we sought his assistance. Would certainly recommend this as a base for touring Normandy.

Parfait, rien à redire, Isabelle et Alain sont des hôtes remarquables, le logement est nickel, avec plus que ce que l’on pourrait espérer. Le jardin, la décoration et la maison en elle-même sont super joli.

We enjoyed staying at the Farmhouse of which returning to the pool after a busy day out was a favourite of our teens. nice and clean with all that you need to self cater provided. good bed linen, towels and robes supplied. The village is outside of Caen , there are no amenities within the small village and we decided to eat out during our days out and could easily cook in the evenings with supermarkets within driving distance. A quiet and quaint village in the Normandy Countryside with the main towns and D Day Beaches a easy drive on good roads.

Étant venu pour le week-end prolongé de l’ascension pour me ressourcer avec ma fille, je ne regrette absolument pas. Le lieu est calme, paisible et apaisant ce qui change beaucoup de la ville. Marie-Claire est une hôte en or, une hôte qui s’intéresse à ces voyageurs et qui n’est pas là uniquement pour louer son bien. Elle s’est montrée réactive de mon arrivée jusqu’à mon départ. Sans oublier, le petit déjeuner offert le dimanche matin, une attention qui fait plaisir.

Séjour agréable chez Thibault. Le logement était propre, arrivée autonome et instructions très claires. Quartier calme et proche néanmoins de toutes les commodités. Je recommande !

Cozy unique apartment with beautiful view to an old church. It is also in a beautiful shopping street with pubs and restaurants. The aparment itself has everything you need, and you get alot of value for your money. The owner answers quick and with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again!

L’appartement est juste parfait pour passer un séjour à Caen et découvrir la Normandie ! Il est spacieux, bien décoré et bien insonorisé ! Béatrice est une hôte réactive et qui propose un logement chaleureux. Nous avons passé un super week-end et nous reviendrons avec plaisir :)

Logement en tout point conforme à la description. Prestations haut de gamme. Environnement sécurisé. Terrasse avec vue imprenable sur le port. Excellente expérience, je recommande sans hesitation.

Good location in the centre of town close to everything (including Juno Beach Centre). On the third floor so lots of stair climbing. Apartment is small but cute and the sofa bed is very comfortable.

Wie kann man es am besten beschreiben wenn man sich in einer Airbnb-Unterkunft wie eine Prinzessin gefühlt hat?🥰 Die 1899 gebaute Villa La Sapinière liegt ruhig in unmittelbarer Strandnähe. Anne hatte uns vor unserer Ankunft schon ausführliche Informationen über die genaue Lage der Wohnung geschickt. In der Wohnung lag außerdem noch ein nützliches Handbuch. Beim Betreten der Wohnung stieg uns gleich ein sehr angenehmer Duft in die Nase und auch die Handseife hat sehr gut gerochen. Für unseren Hund lag unter der Treppe im Eingangsbereich ein Handtuch bereit was wir sehr geschätzt haben, da es gerade stark geregnet hatte. Im Kühlschrank warteten Orangensaft und Wasser auf uns. Das Appartement ist ein wunderschönes, helles Atelier mit farblich perfekt aufeinander abgestimmter, sehr geschmackvoller Einrichtung. Es war alles makellos sauber und das Schlafzimmer mit dem Teppichboden war unglaublich gemütlich. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt sehr auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt dort❤ Danke Anne!

Jolie studio fonctionnel et au calme. Le lit est particulièrement confortable. La communication avec Fleur a été très facile et elle m'a accueillie avec beaucoup de gentillesse.

This apartment is located in an old building with a somewhat dilapidated entry and a long, old staircase up to climb before reaching it, so it would not suit guests with reduced mobility. Once up there, however, it was very fresh and modern and the little outside terrace was a boon.
