What a great apartment in a great location. We loved our stay here. Great food and shops nearby and easy to walk to the Castle and Abbey. The flat itself was exactly as described and beautifully decorated. It was a very relaxing stay. And the instructions for checking in were great. The parking space was a real bonus too. Thank you!

Highly recommend this apartment for a stay in a lovely and quaint town on the beach. The apartment was clean, had lovely decorations and amenities, and the view out the window made us want to stay in and cancel all of our plans to tour the surrounding areas! The hosts were very easy to communicate with and had helpful suggestions to make our stay even better.

Christopher, Thank you for all your kindnesses toward us. The roses & peonies were a great surprise, even though we did not experience any inconvenience from the front door hiccup. Your sterling character as a host showed through just as the beach light reflected off the antique silver objects around the salon. The turret bed was very spacious and comfortable as the linen bedcovers were a treat! The nearby fish market and shops were very convenient and your well furnished kitchen allowed for some great cuisine to dine-in. You did a wonderful preservation project on the installation of the new windows, that truly showcased the villa and the incredible beachside location. We were able to relax and enjoy the happy sounds of the children and families. Trouville is a wonderful place that we hope - someday - we are able to return with our grandchildren and children! A hidden gem on the Normandy coast. Close to the museums and D-day beaches. A number of free places to visit near the property in walkable distances. Port-en-Bessin a 5 min drive away with lots of lovely shops - the bolangerie was awesome! The house itself is extremely well done. The photographs do not do it justice. It was the loveliest holiday home we have stayed in. Will visit again!

A nicely located and spacious house in a quiet place. From the garden you have a nice view over the fields. You'll be on the beach of St Aubin sur Mer with a 10-minute walk. It is also a good starting point for all kinds of nice sights, about d-day, but also castles and cities. Communication with the owners was friendly and we were warmly welcomed. Top location!

We cannot say enough good things about Christian’s Chateau! The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful and made for a very peaceful start to our month long Europe trip. We loved greeting their horse and chickens each day and waking up in the bucolic countryside. It was the perfect gateway to Normandy and had everything you could possibly need for a memorable stay. The bedrooms were huge and beyond comfortable and you literally have an entire castle to yourself which makes you feel like royalty! The decor is whimsical and Victorian and adds to the charm and homeyness Christian certainly treated us like royalty too; he answered all of our questions in a timely manner, gave great area recommendations, and even left us a basket of delicious croissants for lunch! We relished the peace and quiet of this Airbnb and feeling like we could truly rest and escape the hustle and bustle. Thanks for being an amazing host and making our time in France so wonderful, Christian! :)

We had a perfect stay in the annex of Pascal and Françoise's house. A cozy little nest, very comfortable! Pascal and Françoise are very welcoming and very friendly.

A “cabin” in the woods, peaceful except for the Mourning Dove mourning down the chimney and the cows lowing across the fence, every possible amenity was provided including wine, beer and cidre in the fridge and a very well -stocked bar. Bed was wonderful for nine nights and that may be a travel record. Typical European shower, enough said, didn’t try the sauna but it looked good. Lots more little niceties. However, if you require active, powerful internet and cell coverage bring your Starlink.

We were a group of pensioners on a photographic trip. The accommodation was perfect for our requirements. The beds were extremely comfortable and had some of the best night's sleep I've had for sometime. The location is perfect for our requirements, within an easy driving distance of the Normandy Coast, which is what we required. It is only a short distance to the city centre of Caen and quite a few restaurants within easy driving distance. The accommodation is on a equine farm but is perfectly clean and tidy. If I could mention one small detail as I wonder if we could've been provided with larger bath towels as we were all gentleman of a certain build. Gael was an exceptional host and very helpful when we sought his assistance. Would certainly recommend this as a base for touring Normandy.

Very nice property for a great stay with family. Very good bedding and very good amenities and nice layout of the house. The pool at 28° was really a plus. This place is really to be recommended and Delphine always very responsive. This place is halfway between the city and the harbor and anything can be done on foot. Finally, nothing to say about our long weekend, than happiness. A big thank you to Delphine.

We had a great stay recently at Micheline’s home. The house matched the description perfectly and there were lots of little thoughtful touches that helped make it home from home. Micheline’s communication was excellent and she went through everything with us on arrival, the welcome cider was also very much appreciated. A great property, in an excellent location to explore Normandy.

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

We are two Quebec couples who wanted to visit the landing beaches and its museums. The apartment met our expectations very well: it is very well located (25 minutes' walk from the Juno Beach Museum, in particular), in a quiet area. The apartment as such is really comfortable, very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. The bed and sofa bed are perfect, we all slept very well! Thanks Valerie and Manuel for this exceptional stay!
