Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cabell County

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. We frequently visit this area and I will be checking to see if this is available if there is another situation where we need to stay overnight again.

Kim was very helpful with any questions. she had good recommendations for places to eat. it was easy to get ahold of her, and even when someone forgot something and had to come back after checkout, she was very accommodating.

We were in town for our daughters graduation at Marshall University and it was a perfect location to be just outside the any major traffic/noise areas but close enough to access any stores/restaurants nearby. Very peaceful and convenient! Plus the place was immaculate!

The apartment was nice. We had everything we needed. It was clean, well-maintained, well stocked, and aesthetically pleasing. For a studio apartment it felt very spacious and comfortable, not tiny or smooshed at all. The bathroom had a full-size washer and dryer, which was nice and the shower was spacious and spa like. Older middle class neighborhood, but it felt safe and we had zero issues with neighbors and there was an off street parking pad for our car and had no issues with that either. Overall great stay , would book with Kim again!

Our second stay at the Mountain Chalet. Truly the best Airbnb!!! Has everything you need. Even leaves good quality shampoo and conditioner for the guest to use not yo mention brand TP 😊 Rhonda is incredibly helpful and proactive to make sure our stay was perfect. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend to e everyone!!!

Debra’s place was wonderful. It was so clean and well appointed. We only needed an overnight stay for a road trip, but we would have loved to stay longer!

Kevin's place felt brand new... like it just had the shrink wrap taken off! It was perfect for my needs, and I enjoyed listening to the distant trains at night. I felt secure in the established neighborhood, and parking was easy and a quick walk to the apartment.

James was very helpful with scheduling and keys. The place was excellent. A well-provided kitchen even had a coffee maker and its cups. New cutlery, dishes, and glasses showed excellence. Every kind of soap one could want stocked the shower. Cable TV, air conditioning, and baseboard heat worked. Bed linens felt smooth. Had two basic pillows (and that’s all, thank goodness) and two blankets. An illuminated table offered a convenient eating perch. Plenty of art and positive sayings adorned the walls. The neighborhood was quiet but not elegant. With an hour’s hike one arrives at four parks. On the other hand, Huntington Museum of Art with its excellent nature trails requires a car for safety. Problem: a traveler to #3 with a rolling bag, especially large, would not get past tight cars and rough “pavement.”

She was an amazing host. Had all the amenities plus more. Beautiful peaceful place. It was so clean it was like no one had ever been there.

I stayed here for one month, and it was worth it. The washer and dryer were very convenient. It was stocked with shampoo, bodywash, conditioner, and kitchen supplies. It also came with a water purifier which came in handy. The hosts were helpful and always ready to help if you need it.

I enjoyed my stay here. It was a very short walk from the Amtrak station which was very convenient for me. Also it is a 20 minute walk to the Riverfront Park and trails.

Mel’s penthouse rental in the heart of downtown Huntington, WV offers convenience to dining, entertainment and river front activities! We truly enjoyed the scenic view and the luxury rental. Thanks for making our check-in easy! David P.

This is one of those occasions when you DON'T want to tell everyone how great something is so you can keep it for yourself! We were in town for a convention. We wanted to be close to the venue. We wanted a grill as that is a staple for my husband. For those three things this totally fits the bill. But we received oh, so much more than that!!! What we got was: Wonderful, friendly, responsive hosts. I know we hear that a lot here but they were EXCEPTIONAL! An extremely fun, vibrant, artsy and somewhat surprising environment. We WILL be back! Space! So much space! Room to move, breathe, relax. Perspective! It's so refreshing to look down on the city from the inviting rooftop! It feels just a bit luxurious! Again, we hope to be back as there is no place we would rather be.

This apartment was great for our trip. It was clean and very convenient. We enjoyed our stay in West Virginia! Thomas was a great host and very responsive to our questions. Would highly recommend this Airbnb to others.

Novel did everything to make my stay nice. I stayed for 4 months and did not regret it one day. The battery died in my lock one day late at night and they responded within 30 minutes and helped me get in. Always respond quickly whatever questions that I had! Very accommodating, and wants to help. I would suggest anyone to stay at these apartments for how ever long your stay.

The Penthouse was a wonderful find for our visit to the Tri-State area. Parking was convenient and the condo is stunning! We felt so at home upon entering and the pictures are exactly as viewed prior to booking. The finishes are upscale and the king bed very comfortable. Double sinks in the master bathroom and a fantastic kitchen to cook in that had all of the comforts of home. The views of the Ohio River from the 13th floor were beautiful both day and night. The ground floor restaurant serves a fantastic breakfast with many choices of flavored coffees. I would definitely recommend the Penthouse when visiting the area or even if you are local for a special occasion get-away!

Rented this place with family for my wedding and we had the best time! The place was perfect, right on the water, private, and beautiful. Diamond was very responsive for everything we needed and super friendly! We would come back and stay here anytime

Lauryn's place in Ironton was perfect for our week's stay. Location was ideal, house was very clean and comfortable...even had a work station for those of us who had to work while on vacation. Wifi was fast and plenty to watch on the Roku TVs. Bedrooms VERY comfy. Kitchen has all the necessary appointments. Kickin' AC for those who like it nice and cool, like we do. If we ever find ourselves in Ironton again, I know where we're staying! Thanks Lauryn!

Stayed 3 days at Riverview 2. We loved the place and the area. Could not have asked for a better experience. Would love to come back if the chance ever comes up again. Diamond and Lisa are gracious hosts. Altogether a great time was had.

Our accommodations were great. The owners could not have been better for their quick response to our questions and coming to our rescue when we locked ourselves out. The location was convenient to downtown, however our only comment about the location was that it was within a block from a shelter for homeless people and we did not feel comfortable walking on that block at night. However, we drove our car to a convenient parking garage downtown instead.
