Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cabell County

We absolutely loved the cabin. It was beautiful, comfy, safe, and everything we had hoped for. We loved the large kitchen for cooking breakfasts, the grill for dinner, the hot tub was amazing after a long day of exploring in the gorgeous mountains and woods in the area. It was the perfect setting for my senior rescue dogs who are fearful of a lot of things and do best in calm, peaceful settings. They were able to take little short hikes and relax and explore there. We will DEFINITELY be returning for future vacations and recommending your place to our friends and family for their vacations. A week later and Im still missing waking up to enjoy my morning coffee out on the deck while watching the stunning fog rolling across the mountains. Joe is an excellent host, and super cool, very nice guy. He was extremely helpful and available for anything we needed. He even drew us little maps with landmarks to find our way around the area and helped us to decide which trails to adventure into, etc. We can thank him enough for hosting us!

Perfect getaway for peace and quiet! Cabin was very nice and super clean, restaurant was lots of fun with great live music. Highly recommend :)

Rustic Ravines is a true hidden gem. Joe is absolutely excellent. His communication and directions were a lifesaver. If I could give more stars, I would. The hot tub was the best! Very relaxing! You will not regret this stay.

We took the dogs out to walk the property. The cabin had everything we needed for a weekend getaway and plenty of space to explore Joes got a great thing going here.

My wife and I had a wonderful Valentine’s Day weekend get away at Rustic Ravines. Directions were really great took us right to the place. It’s was beautifully tucked away in the woods and very well maintained. The cabin was clean, beautiful and very private. We had a wonderful stay and especially enjoyed the hot tub! When we left Joe went above and beyond. Big thunderstorms caused flooding blocking us in and Joe went out of his way to find someone that escorted us and someone else out and helped us get home safely. All in all this was a wonderful experience and we certainly would come back again! Highly recommend!

Very charming place to stay in, and thoughtfully decorated. Wish I could have stayed longer, but it was only a stopover. Perhaps more incentive to return one day, would definitely recommend Sherry’s place to other visitors in the Huntington area 👍

We had a great visit! Nancy’s place was perfect for our family and she was a gracious and helpful host.

Wonderful place very nice decor and greeting muffins from host, the place itself i had zero problems the only issue we experienced was from neighbor revving up motorcycle for 3 hours from 7 pm til 10 ish. Nancys place was prinstine clean everything very comfortable and accommodating. I fought a bee by myself for the first time and felt accomplished cause he was a big one that flew through the ac in my room 😆 so all in all great place to stay would stay again.

I greatly enjoyed my stay the Industrial Rustic Cottage. The house was very clean and welcoming. It comfortably fit our party of 4. The house sits on top of a hill and is surrounded by beautiful nature. Nancy was very communicative and gave us helpful instructions to find the house. She also had a list of interesting places to visit around Charleston. I would love to stay at her place the next time I’m in Charleston!
