Bicycle trips through the old countryside or a stroll through the Buxtehuder old town, about 1.3 km away, are possible from here at any time. Hamburg can be easily reached by S-Bahn, which is about 3 km from the apartment. From Finkenwerder you can easily cross to the piers with the HVV ferry, to Finkenwerder it is about 12 km. Shopping can be reached in about 1.5 km.

In addition to walking distance to enjoy nature (hiking trails, nature reserve, beach with swimming), you are by car in about 25 minutes to downtown Hamburg. A bus stop is just a 2-minute walk away. A large supermarket with a bakery and an Italian restaurant are about 1 km away.
