The House is beatiful, there is everything you need! The location is perfect to reach Keukenhof and The tulips camps. Peet was so kind, she prepare a crib and some toys for our baby! Very recommended accomodation!

The apartment was very clean and had all that we needed. Came as advertised. Host was very clear with communication and responded promptly. Great place to stay!!

Die Lage der Wohnung ist mega zentral, optimal für einen Städtetip in Alkmaar und den Besuch des Käsemarkts. Die Käseboote fahren direkt vor dem Fenster vorbei. Die Aussicht auf die Gracht & das Wahrzeichen von Alkmaar usw. ist total schön. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Johnson ist ein zuvorkommender, freundlicher Gastgeber und reagiert schnell auf Fragen. Wir empfehlen die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiter ( zumindest wenn du zu Fuß fit bist, da die Treppe zur Wohnung sehr steil ist)....gerne wieder beim nächsten Besuch in Alkmaar.

Super mooie accommodatie. Zeker de moeite! Niet zo ver van Amsterdam en makkelijk bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Lotje sehr genossen. Der Panorama Blick ist auf jeden Fall das Highlight der Unterkunft. Alles war so wie beschrieben und Lotje war sehr freundlich und hat uns auch viele Empfehlungen für die Gegend geschickt. Viele schrieben hier, dass die Betten zu weich seien - das fanden wir nicht. Auch das war super. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder! Vielen Dank Lotje :-)

It was an incredible stay, dead center between Amsterdam Centraal and Amsterdam Zuid stations. 5ish minute walk from Tram and Metro, beautiful canal views, and the restaurant Red next door is incredibly good. Can’t recommend it enough.

Logement tres agreable pour un couple ey 4 ados. Deplacement aisé pour visiter Amsterdam , belles promenades, plusieurs restaurants tout près. Nous recommandons.

I absolutely loved my 3 week stay here, it has everything you could need. It instantly felt like home and includes many small details that makes your stay easy and pleasant. You can really tell that Han's has given good thought and care into the space. He is an absolutely wonderful host that I hope to stay with again in the future. The location is amazing, as other reviews has said, it's the perfect distance from the city center/centraal station(10-20min). Even if you don't feel like going that far, there are many delicious restaurants within 1 block. Grocery stores, museums, the zoo and plenty else to do within 3 blocks! During the day the neighborhood is lively and active, but it never feels overcrowded. There's a constant stream of pedestrians, bicyclist, bridge raises, and boats passing in the canal to watch. During the night it a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Bonus points for stable and fast wifi and an awesome hot shower. You won't be disappointed staying at Han's😁👍

Wir waren eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus am See. Die Natur ist einzigartig der Blick auf den See und die Seevögel spektakulär. Man hat absolute Ruhe und kann, wenn man möchte, auch ein bisschen mit dem Ruderboot rausfahren. Gouda, Rotterdam und Den Haag sind superschnell zu erreichen, wenn es mal regnet oder man mal etwas anders sehen möchte. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dem Haus. Es gibt aufgrund der Seelage wohl einige Flug Insekten, aber zumindest zu dieser Jahreszeit waren keine stechenden Exemplare dabei. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Very quiet place to stay for a couple of nights. It was in a lovely location on the edge of the park by the deer, chickens and peacocks, and there were a couple of places to eat or get a drink nearby that the owners had named in the handbook. To walk to the old town took about 25 mins to walk and 15 to the train station. We were travelling with an infant and my daughter loved playing with the Lego they left out for her.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Mädelsurlaub in dem Haus. Die Nähe zu Amsterdam war uns wichtig und im Nachhinein hätten wir gerne noch viel mehr Zeit am Haus verbracht. Es war wunderschön mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und der Garten ist im Sommer ein Traum!

This house was a gem of a find! We loved staying right on the water (and despite the cold, our son loved swimming), having access to the boat (which we took to dinner one night!), and just the peace and relaxation of watching the water and boats go by. You feel like you’re in the middle of no where, and yet we were a very short drive to all that we wanted to do - Keukenhof, Zaanse Schans, Amsterdam, and even the coast! We walked to get coffee in the mornings and enjoyed the walk and the town. We also love that it’s dog friendly! We changed our minds last minute and didn’t take our dog along, but we were wishing we had. He would’ve loved the canal and boat!

Wir waren zum 3. Mal in Jorrits Haus und haben uns wieder sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Wetter war traumhaft. Sehr angenehm waren die Fliegengitter an der Terrassentür und den Fenstern, denn es waren schon viele Mücken unterwegs. Empfehlenswert ist ein Spaziergang bis in die Innenstadt von Gouda. Es geht fast immer am Wasser entlang. Ich denke, wir werden weitere Male in Jorrits Haus fahren!

Excellent property that was accurately described. My family loved the peaceful atmosphere. The market, bakery, and excellent restaurants were easy walking distance. Wendy Jane was very responsive to all my questions. Only thing of note is ensuring you have transportation figured out. Relying on Uber can get expensive vs renting a car.

Our stay at Nicolette’s holiday cottage exceeded our expectations! Nicolette and Remco welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. We really appreciated how accessible and approachable they were, and their recommendations were very helpful! The cottage was quiet and cozy, and had everything we needed. Being along the bike trail and the river gave us so many opportunities for fun adventures! We look forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at Joan’s place. We were traveling in a group of four - there was a lot of space for all of us to move around in the house and on the back deck. We were thrilled to be located on the canal - we watched the ducks swimming. We are not accustomed to narrow, winding stairs - they are built differently in Canada - but we learned to manage them. We also learned how to use an induction stove! Love them!! The kitchen had everything we needed to help prepare our meals - dishes, utensils, glasses , cups, bowls, pots and pans and so much more… We are not accustomed to the strong coffee that you drink in Holland so we improvised and used a pot to boil our coffee water and then dripped it through a filter. You were very helpful whenever we had a question and very timely in your response. The information booklet was helpful. The appliance booklets were great but some English ones were missing. Thank you ladies for helping make our visit to Holland such a wonderful experience

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einer sehr gepflegten Unterkunft. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Alles ist gut zu Fuss zu erreichen und für gute Restaurants muss man nicht weit laufen. Die Wohnung ist stielvoll eingerichtet und man kann sich wie zu Hause fühlen.

Die Wohnung ist super gemütlich und sehr schön eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Lage ist ideal. Man ist in 5 Minuten Fußweg in der Innenstadt. Trotzdem ist ruhig. Die Kommunikation mit Majsa war top. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Flasche Wein und Etwas zum Knuspern. Es war rundum schön. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! Vielen lieben Dank!

Wir sind unglaublich dankbar, diese tolle Unterkunft gefunden zu haben! Die Wohnung war mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet - durch die frischen Tulpen und Osterglocken haben wir uns direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt. Der Whirlpool ist natürlich ein absolutes Highlight! Und Remy war der perfekte Gastgeber: er hat uns direkt hilfreiche Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben - welche Orte lohnenswert sind, wo der perfekte Strand zu finden ist, welche Restaurants das beste Essen haben, ... und wo man kostenfrei parken kann, um nach Amsterdam zu fahren. Die Lage ist schön ruhig aber ideal, um den ganzen Tag tolle Ausflüge zu machen. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder und haben die Unterkunft auch schon direkt an Freunde empfohlen. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Yvonnes Unterkunft! Alles war super schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Yvonne selbst ist unglaublich freundlich und herzlich, wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Der Parkplatz direkt am Haus war auch sehr praktisch. Insgesamt eine perfekte Unterkunft – wir können sie nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Schöne kleine Wohnung mit sehr guter Lage direkt am Strand. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dem Airbnb von Timothy. Die Wohnung ist außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet. Wir wurden mit Sekt empfangen und sogar einige Snacks und Softdrinks haben wir bekommen. Parken konnten wir überall an der Straße da wir ins örtliche Parksystem eingetragen wurden, normalerweise gibt es aber einen zugewiesenen Parkplatz ca 100m entfernt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Danke für die schönen Tage!

Alles in allem ein kleines, aber feines Apartment mit viel Stilgefühl und sehr funktional eingerichtet. Wir hatten alles, was wir zum leben brauchten und eine wirklich tolle Zeit. Die Lage ist wirklich kaum zu toppen. Vorne direkt am Strand, hinten direkt am Radweg zu den Dünen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

John’s Airbnb was perfect for our little getaway with our daughter (2 yo). John provided a high chair and crib for her and she had her own little room which she slept very well in. The Airbnb was quiet especially considering its location! The US WiFi is a little weak especially in the bedrooms but the other options is solid. The stairs up to the unit are very steep. We left the stroller by the front door and relied on the elevator (warning it’s small and slow). But overall, it was a really great place and we had an excellent time.
