Cozy rural house with an amazing view of the Mjøsa mountain, just 10 minutes from Lillehammer. Here, you have the opportunity to completely relax and enjoy the sun all day long or take advantage of all the recreational opportunities the surrounding area offers. Short distance to ski slopes, hiking trails, swimming beaches in the summer, an ice rink, and a local gym. In addition, it is only 10 minutes to Lillehammer, 15 minutes to Sjusjøen, and 35 minutes to Hafjell, with all the amenities that come with those locations. Here, you have every opportunity to have a great time!

Lakefront cabin gem

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin. It is a newer nice cabin for a relaxing stay 20 meters from the lake Næra. Here you can fish without a fishing license. Inside: The loft provides you with two extra beds. The cabin has water limited to the shower and sink. A cozy outdoor toilet in an outhouse one meter from the cabin wall. This one is equipped with lights, heating and ventilation for minimal odor. Drinking water will be delivered before your arrival. Exterior: Private jetty, rowboat and kayaks available. Accommodation on a farm near Sjusjøen and Lillehammer

In beautiful surroundings with forest, pasture and views of water, it is arranged for accommodation and activities. The farm is quiet and secluded. Around the farm there is the possibility for short and long trips. 800 m from the house there is a small lake where you can swim and fish in the summer, or just enjoy the silence. In the Activity Barn there is the possibility of training, billiards, table tennis, long tables and sofa corner. Experienced riders can rent a horse for a ride. Sjusjøen, Lillehammer and Moelv are about 20 minutes away.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. The stone cabins at Kastad farm are located undisturbed in fantastic natural surroundings. The cabin in the forest, like the other cabins, has stunning views of Mjøsa and Kastadtjernet. Here you can relax and wake up to a delicious breakfast basket with freshly baked croissants. Suitable for 2 persons. Skogen is one of 3 stone cabins on the farm. The other two are Røysa and Åkeren. Charming and spacious house in a quiet dead-end street, only 8–10 minutes walk from the center of Lillehammer and Maihaugen. The house has 5 bedrooms and is suitable for families, groups of friends, and business travelers with up to 8 guests. The large garden with Maihaugbekken, two terraces, fireplace, art, and Persian rugs give the house a warm and unique atmosphere. The bookshelves contain a large collection of local history about Lillehammer and Gudbrandsdalen. Private parking for up to 3 cars.

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside there is a bedroom and an open living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.

Feel free to visit our cozy and family-friendly holiday home. Our self-built cabin with a fantastic view of Mjøsa. Charmingly furnished, used and new in combination. In 2022, the magazine Hytteliv wrote a longer article about the cabin. A lovely place to be both summer and winter. 5 minutes walk to a nice sandy beach. Nice trails to walk in the forest. Only 15 minutes to Lillehammer, 30 minutes to Sjusjøen and 40 minutes to Hafjell. Great ski slopes locally at Brøttum.

The house is located on a farm. Nice and quiet. Short distance to nice nature experiences. 300 m to nice trips with cross-country skis in winter, nice hiking opportunities in summer. Approx. 25 min by car to Lillehammer city center. (14 km) 30 min to Hafjell and Hunderfossen. If you want to ski in the mountains, it is about 15 min. by car to Fåberg Vestfjell. Large garden, so nice for families with children. It is recommended to have your own car☺️
