House vacation rentals in Brixham

Absolutely lovely home , very responsive to messages, had an issue with the electrical gate it’s no one’s fault but they acted and responded so quickly. The only issue I had was with the pool not being open even though it’s listed in the title “ villa with pool “ and I searched air BnB using the great pool section . I was gutted because it did state in the more about section that the pool wasn’t open until may , I trusted that using the search with great pool would be enough but unfortunately It wasn’t, I did feel this was wrong listing a property with a pool and in the title but hiding the fact it wasn’t open in the click more section, this definitely needs changing.

Clean, cozy and well equipped (kitchen, etc). Peaceful location and the extra amenities were great! (Swimming pool, etc). We would stay again.

Mandys place was just amazing. Everything you need is provided and more. Having the pool for the kids was a winner. The Steam train coming past was really good felt like the Railway Children waving all the time. Great recommendations for eating out. Thank you looking at booking again.

It was an amazing stay, the place is apart of a big holiday ket that has a restaurant and spa. It exceeded expectations! All the staff at cary arms were really great and approachable. People will need to realise in advance how steep the hill is to get to the holiday homes. I had difficulty driving my car back up so Chris and Harry from the cary arms helped me out with that and I tree really appreciated it.

Lovely place and we had a great stay. Only downside was that the pool wasn’t heated, Maria let us know a few days beforehand that there was an issue with the boiler.

Great home with outstanding facilities and location. Pool is a highlight, and hot tub right next to it which is great for when the kids get chilly! Fantastic playroom for them too. Boiling water tap for grown ups teas and coffee with good indoor and outdoor seating areas. Fun for all the family!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Peartree. Selina is a warm, gracious host and she gave us lots of useful tips in restaurants and sights to explore. The house is newly renovated, spotless and set in a breathtaking field of oats. We highly recommend this home and host. We'll definitely be back with family and friends.

What a perfect little stay and beautiful accommodation. Perfect location and very close to beach. Central location not too far from anything. Such a lovely family and Evelin and her family made this a fabulous stay. Will 10000000% be making a return. Spotlessly clean and beautiful interior design. We really enjoyed our stay . the apartment was really lovely. The beds were very comfortable .It had amazing views of Torquay with lots to do . will definitely stay again in the future .

Just got back from a lovely few days break in this beautiful cottage. James is a very welcoming and friendly host and along with the information book in the cottage we had everything we needed to know. The cottage was just perfect and the outside and surrounding garden is like a scene from a fairytale. If you’re looking for peace and relaxation , then this is definitely the place. Inside the cottage , there are lots of beautiful original features alongside more modern amenities. Everything that you could possibly need to make your stay more comfortable has been carefully thought about by the hosts. It’s in a great location to get to places like Torquay, Dartmouth and Brixham. All in all a fabulous place to stay for some much needed R&R.

We adored the house and couldn’t have asked for a better place for us a long weekend. The view is incredible and Annie and Josh were very responsive, ensuring we were always comfortable

Wonderful stay with amazing views from all rooms and outside patio area. We spent lots of time watching the world go by from the top floor window. Excellent base for exploring and easy to get across to Dartmouth on the passenger ferry. We found the place with the clear instructions and parking wasn't a problem. As described it is up a steep hill and there are steps down to the property with lights if required. Fine for us but the less mobile would struggle. Would recommend and would love to return

We loved our few days staying in Jason’s house. It’s perfectly located to explore the beautiful coast and countryside. The house is well-equipped and very comfortable and we appreciated the treats left for us and our dog - thank you! We hope to come back again very soon!

We had a fantastic few days. The Loft is a lovely place so quiet and the owners have thought of absolutely everything. It was great for us and our 16 year old who loved having his own space in the games room. I think it’s the best Airbnb we have stayed in.

We absolutely loved our stay at Boundary cottage! It’s beautifully designed with gorgeous high quality interiors. It was just right for us - two adults and two children. Everything was provided for a child friendly stay (high chair, stair gate, travel cot, kids tableware). The cottage is compact but has made the most of all space for useful storage, it had everything we needed. Highlights for us were the beautiful bed linen, the gorgeous bathroom with uninterrupted views into the fields with the cows and the lovely walk straight out of the front door down the farm track. Our kids adored the cows and the little play area was a welcome occasional distraction!

The pictures don't do justice to the property. Is better than it looks. Spacious rooms, confy beds , cosy furniture, friendly host ...all reviews are spot-on . Is not possible to give more than 5 stars ✨️. There is remote controlled canopy which we used it (was warm but raining for 30 min )and enjoyed the whole afternoon without issues and I am underlining that because U can see it in the picture but there is a table with umbrella and won't pay attention to the rest(when got there found upgraded table ,bigger, square with gravity chairs) No words...we felt straight away like home. We had a lovely stay at Combe Shute Cottage.

Luke is a fabulous host! Not only is the cottage idyllic, peaceful and charming, but Luke left us some goodies for our arrival. These included a bottle of fizz, some delicious bread and eggs from the chickens he keeps on his small holding. There was loads of good recommendations for walks and activities within the cottage and Luke trod a wonderful balance between giving us our space and being there to offer advice and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside!

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

Just had one of the most brilliant stays at "Little Spindles". A fantastic eco-built property situated down a quite lane with everything needed for a peaceful, relaxing time away. Inside, the property is just amazing; so clean and tidy, with top quality fixture and fittings and tastefully decorated. The garden area is mainly laid to lawn and is large and private, thanks to surrounding trees and shrubs. There's a little stream at the bottom of the garden and we were fortunate enough to see a kingfisher during our stay! It's close to the centre of Ashburton (lovely little place!) and ideally positioned for a wide variety of sightseeing and walking trips. Poppy is a great host and is always on hand to offer help when needed. We look forward to a return visit!

The Italian Garden is a magical respite. Down a tiny country road, near mostly farmland and hills, you’ll find this incredible hideaway. We arrived at night and will admit didn’t do much research before booking (although there’s a lot of info online if you search theitaliangarden)- so were shocked to find that this gorgeous home is nestled just in front of nearly four acres of a phenomenal private garden that you often have to yourself. Words can’t do it justice … just go! The house itself has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you can imagine to cook or bake. There’s a gas fireplace for cold nights, and an outdoor fire bowl. Every bit of the house is luxurious and comfortable. It’s in an extremely quiet part of southern Devon, but just a 15 minute drive from bustling Totnes with unique restaurants and shops. There are many other nearby towns to explore, and Dartmoor is also very close by for gorgeous walks and landscape. Our week flew by - we can’t more highly recommend i
