Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Bristol

We had the best time and loved our view of the slopes from the porch! The pool and hot tub area was so nice and everyone was so friendly. Our son had a great time. It was a very kid friendly environment. Sherrie was an awesome communicator and very sweet. We will definitely be back.

D.J. was a great host! The place was nice and clean and looked just like the pictures posted. It’s in a great location and 12-15 min from Boone and Blowing rock. I will definitely be renting from him again and staying in this particular location. The only complaint I have is that the shower didn’t get at hot as we wanted it to and the upstairs neighbors were a little loud (which was out of the hosts control). Overall, I’d stay here again! Wonderful place to stay in Johnson City with tons to do within walking distance. Train is close but the train is close everywhere downtown. Hosts were wonderful and very responsive. If our travels take us back to JC, we will certainly stay here.

Truly a great find - a wonderful place. We only stayed here for one night, but we'd have loved to stay longer, and especially in warm weather to take advantage of the pool and amazing deck area! Deborah's place is super clean, and very comfortable. It feels very private, and is well stocked with everything you need, including a great couch and plenty of entertainment options. Deborah was extremely responsive and accommodating, we had some special requests and she was very understanding. Absolutely no complaints, would love to stay again!

Whitney & Jay were great hosts—responsive and helpful when we had questions. The space was just as shown/described in the listing. My family of four enjoyed our stay during spring break and our first time skiing during Sugar Mountain’s end-of-season March Madness. We made such wonderful memories here. Be sure to enjoy the most stunning sunrises and sunsets from the balcony.

This was our 2nd stay at Bek's place, attending an athletic event at King University. Love the place, it's set up perfectly for relaxing, for cooking and spending time with friends. It is perfect for three couples, everyone has their own space and bathroom, but plenty of hangout space as well, including an awesome balcony with a great view. Tons of amenities inside, easy to get to downtown Bristol, this place is a gem.

Stayed here with a group of guys for spring break and it was everything we hoped for it to be. Awesome kitchen space with anything we needed to cook meals, and plenty of living space for all of us to feel comfortable throughout our stay. The host responded quickly and instructions were clear and precise. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing house and property to relax at! Small town with no hustle and bustle, just what we needed since we live where it’s always go-go-go! Tons of outdoor things to do. Vincent is an awesome host. We absolutely loved our stay at Beech Retreat!! It was located very close to the ski resort (2-3 min drive), the surrounding mountain areas were beautiful, and the home itself was very cozy and well furnished. We loved using the hot tub, cozying up near the fireplaces, and waking up to deers at the front door :). Next time we make a trip to Beech Mtn, we would love to stay here again!

We had a great stay at Jared's place. Everything was very comfortable -- and the bathrooms and kitchen were super-clean, which was great. It was a very quiet community (winter), and the houses are placed for privacy/good views. The club also had very helpful staff, a nice pool, and a good gym. We were happy there was no ice or snow when we were there, as the driveway is steep. A convenient location related to Boone, Blowing Rock, etc. -- everything seemed about 20 minutes away. Jared was also generous on check-out time for us. And we appreciated the very simple check-out procedure.

Y’all. This place is FABULOUS, especially if you have a family of big personalities who love to laugh and also need lots of recharge time. The house is gorgeous and stocked so thoughtfully— we cooked a huge Sunday dinner and had cookware left over. The beds are super comfy, the fire pit and pool table and PacMan are great diversions, the couch and tv are huge, cute and cool Damascus is 3-5 minutes away. It was a charmer and took great care of us.
