Great stay at the Cosy Cabin! Easy to find and a great location for exploring Kendal and the rest of the Lake District. Everything was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a short stay. Although the cabin is next to Amanda’s house, the whole stay felt very private and Amanda was a great, responsive host. Highlight was definitely the huge, comfy bed!!

We loved staying in this amazing place when we wanted an R&R break for a few days. We would certainly come back again, hopefully for longer stay as there is so much to explore in the wider area. The views from the Bungalow were outstanding as was the peace and quiet, which was just what we needed. We really enjoyed Helen’s recommendations to visit Sizergh Castle, the fantastic local farm shop, Low Sizergh Barn, plus the pub Strickland Arms for an evening meal. All of which were a few minutes away by car and well within walking distance for those who enjoy getting fresh air as well. We enjoyed our breakfast eggs and bacon from the well stocked farm shop so much we went back the next day for an array of deli things for tea. The Bungalow was very welcoming, comfortable to stay in and had everything we needed at hand. The seasonal daffodils in the bathroom and kitchen along with fresh flowers on the dining table were an extra special touch and very thoughtful. Thank you Helen.

We had a lovely stay at Barnhaven! The location was in a beautiful surrounding area and the property was extremely well maintained and equipped. Our 3 year old daughter loved the variety of toys and books! The communication with Jill and Michael was excellent and we would recommend Barnhaven as a great place to stay in the Lakes.

Great Location right on Kendals main shopping street with the lakes easily accessible. This cosy apartment has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. No allocated parking, but we knew that from the description and there is plenty of paid parking very close by. Would stay again.
