I felt very comfortable in the room. I particularly liked the very quiet and beautiful residential area and the bathroom with bathtub, which I had to myself. Gudrun received me very kindly and I was able to stay longer on departure, as my train did not leave until the afternoon.

So, POV, the most important thing to keep in mind with Harriet's place is its location. Five stops west of Altona train station, you'll find yourself in one of Hamburg' (very) upscale neighbourhoods. Think Cambridge, Mass. Or Greenwhich, Connecticut. And... one stop away from the German Riviera, bucolic and iconic Blankenese. Harriet is upbeat, friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in how your stay goes. Access to their garden and she offered me her bike without that I asked (I must look athletic... 😉). Safe, clean, neat. Haribob sweets and fresh mineral water on your bedside table. Lots of parking available for your car, strollers, grannies doing Nordic walking, birds chirping and a brisk, fresh breeze on yoir 5 minutes walk to the S Bahn station. All you need to make your trip to enthralling Hamburg memorable.

It’s perfect for groups and family with kids! I’d super recommend it!

Awesome! Perfect kitchen with everything you need and more. Everything super clean. Plenty of space. Comfortable beds. Quiet despite the street…. Small fenced garden with a great view over the fields. Good internet. Patricia is very personable and very nice. We felt super comfortable! Thanks!!!

I spent several nights with Johanna. I felt very welcome and had many nice conversations with Johanna. The room was very cozy and clean. There were different pillows to choose from, so I could pick out the one that suited me. I always got around well everywhere in Hamburg by public transport. Next time I am in Hamburg, I will definitely try to stay with Johanna again. Thank you for everything.

Mona gave us a very warm welcome. The location of the house is about 30 minutes from Bremen city center, situated in a quiet residential area. There is a large supermarket nearby, along with several places to eat. The room was spacious and comfortable, and Mona, being a thoughtful and elegant host, made a few lovely gestures for us. She was very helpful and hospitable. We definitely recommend staying here!

We had a very nice stay at the cottage in Butjadingen. The place is very clean and functional, but also stylishly decorated. The sea can be reached by foot of about 10/15 minutes, but you can also go by car ( parking available directly on the dyke) A shop with everyday necessities is within walking distance (2 minutes). Communication was flawless.

Great location with short to the beach and everything you need - bakery, supermarket, gas station and delicious ice cream :-) Apartment was very clean and everything wonderfully prepared. Contact very friendly. We will be happy to come back.

We stayed here for a cycling event in the area. It was super comfortable for 4 people and plenty of space to spread out. Good shower and large kitchen. East to get into central Hamburg. All good.

Despite booking only the night before, everything went well. Everything is very straightforward, Dustin was quick to respond to a problem with the instantaneous water heater. We even got a late check out, which gave us a relaxing departure. We had a really nice week

Before arrival, we had contact to arrange the approx. arrival time. It was important to me not to keep Christian and Elke on Stand by for a long time. It worked out great. Was easy to find by description. I was warmly welcomed. The "house rules" were only related to things that should be normal for every person. The room offered more freedom of movement than I expected. Bright and friendly. Quiet location in nice neighborhood. Public transport is very easily accessible on foot. Gladly again. If you want to party and remmidemmi around the clock, you are welcome to stay directly on the neighborhood. Many thanks to you both

We stayed for a long weekend in the apartment and we felt very comfortable. Good location, stylishly furnished and it was all as described. You didn't have to take care of anything. Fully automatic coffee machine, even TV in the bedroom, just many amenities that you don't have so often in other apartments! Our children loved the children's room with toys. Glad to come back!
