The property has ample grounds with lawns and grassed areas with uninterrupted panoramic views and also couple of friendly Pigmy goats. You can find highland cattle and horses in the fields nearby. We enjoyed our stay. The location was rural but you are near Edinburgh and Glasgow. The cottage was fantastic and everything was immaculate. The rooms were lovely and spacious and each bedroom had its own en-suite. There was everything you need for your holiday. Janet was friendly and really helpful. We would definitely book this cottage again.

The kitchen/dining room features wooden cabinetry and a modern white refrigerator. A round table with floral tablecloth is surrounded by wooden chairs, while a wall clock is visible. Natural light enters through the door that leads to the garden, creating a bright and inviting space.

The hosts Catherine and Charles were totally fabulous very welcoming and full of great of ideas and tips of where to visit. We loved staying in The Bothy and it was the perfect place for our holiday very comfortable, clean and well equipped. will be staying again! thank you!

The whole provess of booking, arrival and departure was so smooth, and although i didn't stay there myself, the guest was very impressed with it. Great flat to stay for few days. As it was also on the ground floor, it meant that it was accessible to everyone and specially for my elderly parents who the booking was for. Place was clean and well looked after. John was a pleasure to deal with and was very responsive when I needed to get in touch. Would highly recommend and it will be my go to if I need to rent somewhere again.

Sv is a very hospitable host and we felt welcomed at her place. Close to Edinburgh and in a safe, residential area. Great anemities. Would stay again.
