Had a fantastic stay at this little hidden gem, off the beaten track but easy to get to all the places to see in North Devon. Very quiet just birds singing with the most stunning views of the countryside - absolute bliss. Jamie showed me around on arrival and made it clear that he was a text away if I needed anything other than that left me alone. Hoping to come back in Autumn again

It's a really well-equipped place with all sorts of amenities and a very helpful file of useful and interesting local information. It's a really well located place, very close to a main road for great accessibility but far enough to feel off the beaten track. It's a really beautiful place, with a bluebell-filled wood practically at your front. A wander around the hill fort and the field beyond with it's well designed paths and it's views of stunning Exmoor is a must! And the sunsets are indeed breathtaking. The evening sun glinting on the sea was wondrous. It's a comfortable beautiful place!

We had a wonderful weekend at Elizabeth's cottage. It's a stunning house; very cosy and had everything you'd need for a weekend stay or longer! We didn't want to leave! The area the house is in doesn't have any shops/pubs/etc but it's a great base for exploring Exmoor/the South West and coming home after a long day to a super home. I'd definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting some peace & quiet and character!

The Vestry was a great place to escape to for a long weekend away. Beautifully decorated with good quality furniture and a well kitted out kitchen. Absolutely spotless with lovely linen and towels. Also, a lovely little garden area to relax. We took our dog and found the area very dog friendly and situated not far from the Tarker trail. Good walking boots recommend though to get to it. Our hosts were lovely and very accommodating. Would highly recommend.
