The garden with playground equipment (table tennis, swing, trampoline...) is available for our holiday guests. Here between the Egge Mountains and Teutoburg Forest, there are many beautiful hiking and cycling trails. The swimming pool is 7 km away. Paderborn is 20 minutes away and Kassel is 40 minutes away by car. An express bus runs several times a day to Warburg and Paderborn.

You have your own staircase. The entrance is shared with us. Note the 30-degree roof slope. The bed with new mattress is 1.40 x 2.00 m. Cotton bedding. You can make beautiful excursions in the area. Corvey Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is only about 3 km away. Höxter is located on the R1 bike path, only about 500 meters from the apartment. Towards Godelheim after about 1.5 km is the recreational lake with swimming and sports facilities, which is very popular in good weather.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The charming apartment was just like in the photos – very stylishly renovated and furnished, sparkling clean and equipped with everything you need. The location on the estate is beautifully located and very quiet. Check-in went smoothly and we felt welcome from the first moment. We highly recommend this place and would come back anytime. I felt comfortable during my stay in this quiet environment and can definitely recommend it if you want to take a few days off. From the bakery via the train station to the Weser, everything is within walking distance and if you are there without a car, you can also use the "Holibri" shuttle service for the price of a bus ticket. Very pleasant and I don't rule out coming back.

The place is exactly like the photos, we took a tour at the castle in town, and by far it was the best castle museum we have experienced in Europe. The record player and variety of records was also fun and a nice touch!

Apartment was very clean, spacious and fully furnished and equipped with every comfort. Beds and mattresses good. Wifi good. Contact with hosts fast and pleasant. Shared entrance to the house with private stairs to apartment. Plenty of privacy. Price quality good. In the area many opportunities for cycling and walking. We'd love to come back.

We found a very nice and clean apartment with great amenities at Doris' place. Big compliment to the hosts who welcomed us so warmly! We felt immediately comfortable and enjoyed our short stay over New Year's Eve.
