We loved the nice garden en the swimming pool. We also enjoyed the great breakfast.

The house is wonderful. It turns out it was recovered in very good taste. Every corner is special. Breakfast is 5 star. Homemade dumpling, the second day we ate one that knew Christmas, spices - great. We're vegetarian, and breakfast had vegetable yogurt and soy butter. We didn't try the pool because it was cold, but we took advantage of the heat from the fire pit. The kitchen of the apartment also all you need to have meals. We were very well received. Let's recommend and come back for sure

This is our fifth visit to the property, and as always, our stay was absolutely lovely! A big thank you to Jose and Hugo for making it special. We can't wait to come back!

We absolutely loved the place. José and staff were very friendly and responsive. Checked with us daily to see if we needed anything. The afternoon Port was a wonderful touch. We would highly recommend this place and plan to stay here next time we are in Guimarães.

We were totally delighted with our choice to stay at Villa Margaridi with Jose. The property is set amongst trees above Guimaraes in an estate with an immaculate formal garden surrounded by the sound of spring water and the wonderful crocking of frogs. This is boutique guest accommodation for the more discerning traveler looking for discrete but attentive hosting in a very private and gentile environment. It is a pleasant down hill stroll to the historical centre and we mostly took a very reasonable Uber ride home. Breakfast provisions were excellent as was the terrace with views over the gardens and hillside. Jose goes above and beyond to guarantee your comfort and peace, aided by the equally charming Hugo. After 3 busy days in Porto this was the R&R we needed and we would recommend to those looking to escape hustle and bustle, enjoy the natural world whilst being on the doorstep the wonderful cultural city of Guimaraes. Thank you Jose, and we will be back.

A beautiful apartment to stay if you're looking for a quiet place to call your home. We've spent most of our time outside in the garden when we were at home, since it's too pretty to miss out on - with a great view for the sunset. It's fully equipped with everything you need and the communication was flawless. We can highly recommend the apartment and thank Filipe and Célia for the great experience!

I really liked the place. A very nice flat with plenty of space (I stayed there on my own) and as described. As some others mentioned, because it is very central it can be noisy, but the nights were usually quiet. The terrace is great, and the location amazing right in the centre of Braga with plenty of restaurants and attractions very close-by and in walkable distance. I loved having a piano in the flat and playing it occasionally, though when I was there it was a bit out of tune. I was there for the first day of Noite Branca, and it was an ideal base from which to explore the event.
