An exceptional stay. The space is beautiful and very well cared for.. The very accessible and pleasant host.

Extremely welcoming host with a lot of nice touches for us (flowers, fruit, etc.). Communication is easy because she speaks French very well as well as several other languages. Very flexible on schedules and giving good recommendations. Accommodation with a peaceful setting in exposed stone with fireplace (very nice in February). Both bathrooms are convenient for a family. Very good location for sightseeing. Complicated access because of steep roads but reward on arrival.

Large atypical house and true to the photos. 2 night spaces (2 bedrooms in the basement + 3 bedrooms) separated from the rest of the common areas. To be expected with small children but keep calm :) The common areas are large and practical (kitchen, dining room, pool table, reception room) A real Garden of Eden: lots of plants, enclosures with peacocks, chickens, ducks, golden pheasants and others… fed by a nice lady next door. Generous and very responsive host. We were given some vegetables from the farm. Delicious.

We very much enjoyed the stay at Quinta do Giestal, very quiet and were lucky to have the farm only for us, which allowed us to feel at home! The restaurant near the farmhouse has great food and at a good price! Repeating :)

Pleasant stay in a quiet environment and a usable swimming pool despite the passable weather.

We love it,great for a family vacation. The pool is very nice with a lot of loungers, the living area (with foosball,ping pong.ja has everything you need, tennis rackets and balls, etc.)was very useful for us to fill the time that could not be in the pool as well as the tennis court. an experience to repeat for sure.

She went above and beyond to assist us, not only organizing meeting rooms but also arranging meals and providing restaurant recommendations in the neighborhood. Her responsiveness was outstanding; it felt like she was always on standby, ready to help with whatever we needed. I can't thank her enough for making our visit so smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hassle-free experience!

We feel like home. Easy to move inside the space, with the necessary even for a longer stay. Carlos is super attentive and always responsive. 2 b*****s travelled with us, who found an outdoor space to run and be without stress. It's a family accommodation. Receptivity to our suggestions. we advise the place of Carlos. An ideal farm to escape stress and run. Ha nearby supermarkets.

We spent 9 nights in Portugal and undoubtedly the 2 nights spent by Ines were the most beautiful even if the weather was not kind... the animals, the fireplace and the tranquility of the place filled our days. Our girls look forward to coming back and will always remember the days spent here with pleasure... thank you for everything

Nice modern home in a beautiful village. Lots of great walking / hiking nearby, and close to Viana do Castelo and to Spain. The property is dog friendly and was great for our dog as it’s fully fenced.

It was the second time we chose this place and it was excellent! We felt right at home! Enjoy so much nature and animals, calm and comfort! It is undoubtedly a very good place to rest and for good times alone or with family! We'll definitely be back! And Susana is very friendly and helpful! We really liked it!

Very nice and well-kept place to spend a few days with the family. It has all the amenities to have a great time, swimming pool, barbecue, sun loungers, Wi-Fi, garden, cleaning, views of the vineyards and mountains, quiet, a convenience store 50 meters away, a restaurant less than 500 meters away. We were a family with two children and a dog. Rosa took care of us whenever we needed it. She lives on the same plot but you practically don't see her, unless you need her. On the same plot she has a small garden and she had a nice touch by giving us some "tirabeques" that were very good! You have several places to visit 30 minutes or less away, such as Viana do Castelo, Ponte de Lima, Braga, and Porto 1 hour away. Overall, it's a 100% recommended place. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Rosa again!

This is a perfect place to go spend time with your loved ones. Away from cities and overall people. The house is cozy and has everything that you need and even more to make the stay memorable! Me and Henry loved being there and would have like to stay even more! Maria Celeste was very helpful to find us lost tourists from the mountains in darkness. And showed us the way to the cabin. Be aware that the road might not be for everyone to drive. But you can always leave the car up the hill and walk to the house. Ww would love to go back soon to the beautiful and adventurous place!

we were very nice the whole family a functional cute house the house owners live on and if you need them don't hesitate to help.te had the detail of leaving in the fridge a bottle of water and wine. if we ever come back in the area from catalunya we will definitely go,a pleasure to enjoy their place both good you could have a house like this,thanks

We were 8 bachelor party friends and the truth the attention unbeatable! we had to go out at 11h in the morning and talking to Elizabete we were able to go out at 13h without any problem! the house inside great, very spacious and heated in all the rooms... and by the outside spectacular!!! the pool, the garden, the vineyards... everything perfect! we will repeat without hesitation!!

We lived a few days in a real haven of peace. Past the aspects, let's say amazing, of the path to the accommodation, we were charmed by the hospitality of our hosts, Lise and Patrick. The dogs are very affectionate and quiet. The horses are not left out either (and a little pranky). The totally free access to green spaces, the pool, the barbecue area is an undeniable plus. Lovers of nature and peace, look no further for your place. In addition, housed in this natural environment, you will have plenty of time to explore the surrounding nature, on foot or by car. We had a nice stay at La Quinta. We'll be able to come back someday ...

Beautiful house by the lake, in a very peaceful village. Had a wonderful stay with my girlfriend and we couldn't be happier!

On the positive side, the place lived up to its description. Fatima was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience better. There were enough parking spaces for three cars. On the negative side, the hot water reservoir wasn't sufficient for ten people to take showers. As a result, some of us had to take cold showers every day. Additionally, the location is situated on narrow roads, making it challenging to reach by car.

Beautiful tranquil little converted farmhouse. All the amenities you need, lovely pool and very friendly dog. It is walkable to supermarket and local bars or a cab to Guimarães is very cheap. Our host was very friendly and helpful throughout.
