Vacation rentals with a kayak in Braga

A very quiet, rustic and rural setting. Sooooooo peaceful. Fantastic place to escape the city, get some rest and reconnect with nature. The outdoor, wood-heated bath was great, although it did seem a little decadent for just one person. Ideal for a couple. There is a river and Diogo (who is very friendly and very helpful) said he has a canoe. Although it was still quite cool in the mornings (early April), there is a wood-burner and an AC unit that also heats. The driveway is do-able but more for adventurous drivers. The village (Macieira da Maia) is very authentic and it is only about 10-15 min to the beach. Vila do Conde has a beautiful old-town. Many great beaches along the coast. Braga is only about 40 min, Oporto, about 20-30 min by car.

If you are looking for a secluded, quiet, peaceful place, then you need to stay at Cesar's House. The sounds of the stream, the quiet neighborhood and get to stay what was a medieval mill gives you the feel of history. Cesar was great. He met us to greet us at our arrival. Treated us to breakfast with croissants, Portuguese patries, and breakfast drinks. The house has all the amenities you need for your stay. There are stores and restaruants within easy walking distance. I felt safe day or night at Cesar's. Can't say enough. Cesar was easy to communicate with as well. Highly recommend!

Nos sentimos como en casa, el lugar maravilloso y la casa impecable, todo super limpio y el hecho que tenga futbolin para los niños fue una gran diversión. Casa do Engenho is amazing. So far, the best place my family and I have rented for a 10-day stay. Near Braga, easy to find, beautiful surroundings, quiet and comfortable. We definitely recommend staying. Monica is a great hostess, friendly and always there for you!

Awesome place with a beautiful view over the river. The location is really exclusive with a private entrance to the water...so you can actually spend the whole day there just going swimming, kayaking or relaxing in the garden. The perfect place for a family holiday! The house itself combines a traditional and modern style of living and can easily accommodate a big family. You will find everything there you need for your daily life. The check-in was easy and the communication with the host was always welcoming. Thank you for a great time!

Wer das freie und unabhängige Reisen an den unterschiedlichsten Orten und in verschiedensten Unterbringungen über airbnb liebt und Portugal ebenfalls, der muss unbedingt in der alten Wassermühle von Julio gewesen sein. Wir haben haben die Gegend zwischen Lissabon und Porto bereist und vier Nächte bei Julio verbracht und es sehr genossen. Die Freundlichkeit von Julio, die Ruhe und die Natur rund um die Mühle, Tagestouren in der Gegend oder nur das Verweilen in dem wunderschön angelegten und sehr gepflegten Garten haben uns begeistert.

A casa é simplesmente maravilhosa e merece mesmo a nota que tem. Alfredo e Fátima nos receberam com muito cordialidade, nos mostraram todos os detalhes da casa e estavam sempre prontos a tirar dúvidas por mensagem. A casa fica em um local privilegiado, cercado de natureza e perfeito para descansar em família. Estava frio mas a casa sempre quente com aquecedores e lareira. Fomos em 10 pessoas, incluindo crianças e todos amaram e querem voltar novamente. Recomendo!

Cette maison littéralement posée sur le lac de Gerês dispose d’un emplacement incroyable ! Avec sa petite plage permettant de partir en canoë ou en Paddle, elle offre la possibilité de s’adonner aux activités nautiques très facilement. La maison est remarquablement équipée, il ne manque rien et même plus encore. Le salon, la cuisine et les salles de bain sont les pièces les plus agréables de la maison. Sous les combles, il peut faire un peu chaud mais une bonne circulation de l’air le soir permet de bien dormir. Enfin, les hôtes sont accueillants ce qui ne gâche rien ! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.
