Monthly Rentals in Bowness-on-Solway

We booked this location as we had a wedding in the area , we had 5 adults which one was an elderly person with mobility difficulties. The wet room was fantastic in the downstairs room. All the other rooms were really nice and to a high specification. Great location for walkers and people who enjoy nature and quiet countryside right on the Solway Firth.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend getaway for her birthday and she loved it! Linden from the get go was a lovely host. She welcomed us to the property and talked us through the place and how to light the hot tub, she was extremely welcoming and very kind. She was also very responsive and assured us to message if we needed anything. The place itself had everything you’d need and we felt right at home. Tesco is a 2 minute drive away and theres some lovely pubs, beaches and towns nearby. The welcome pack also gives some routes and places to go nearby! The hot tub does take a while to heat up and it took us a minute to get the hang of but once you do its lovely. The horses in the field next to us were very friendly and it was just a very peaceful and relaxing getaway. Thank you!

The room was very spacious and very well equipped, with a large fridge freezer, washing machine and everything you need to self cater, however we had a really great vegan meal at their nearby restaurant, which is even dog friendly so we didn't need to cook! Lovely and helpful staff really made us feel welcome, would love to stay again for longer.

What a gem of a cottage- we felt at home immediately. It was very cosy and communication throughout was excellent. Thank you!
