Lovely village house, East Pyrenees

This quaint village house is located high up in the pretty hillside village of Rodes. Rodes rests in the Languedoc Roussillon/Pyrenees-Orientales region of France where Mount Canigou dominates the skyline. A 30 minute drive takes you to Perpignan and the stunning Mediterranean coast. The house has breath taking views of Mount Canigou from the rooftop terrace and can comfortably sleep up to 4 persons. It has a private garage, free WIFI and two bikes available for guests to use. On the ground floor is the walk through garage and a utility area with a washing machine. The two bedrooms are on the first floor. The 2nd floor offers open plan living with a fully equipped kitchen and an area for relaxing and eating. From here you access the sunny outdoor terrace and the mezzanine bathroom. The house and the area are perfect for a relaxing get away from it all holiday. Nearby is a village shop and easy access to the main road between Perpignan and Andorra. The village of Vinca is within walking distance and you can swim, relax and sunbathe on the shores of the crystal clear lake. Maison Mimosa is located in an exceptionally picturesque area ideal for walking and mountain biking as well as a visit to the world reknowned hot springs at Thomas Les Bains. During the winter season, the nearest slopes are just a 45 minute drive away. The 50 euros rate per night is negotiable dependent on number of guests, number if nights booked and the season. Fauna is omnipresent and easy to observe and many hiking and mountain biking trails start directly from the house. Llar enjoys a Mediterranean climate and is located halfway between the high Pyrenees and the sea.

For a few days or just one night the farm welcomes you. The lac de vinça is very close. We signal that the access is an unpaved path (800m) with a ford to cross ( the ford is currently dry). Just returned from an amazing week staying at David’s beautiful Villa, great hosts, everything you need is provided and even went the extra mile emailing over some excellent useful guides about the villa and the local area👍The place was so nice, far bigger than I anticipated and in a wonderful location for exploring the local area, we will definitely be returning for a another visit in the near future. 👌🏻

We had a great time. The accommodation is a little away from other dwellings which offers very great tranquility, but Ille sur Têt is very close and all the amenities are therefore quickly accessible. And what a view of the Pic du Canigou!!!

House even more beautiful than in the photos. terrace with little vis-à-vis and overlooking an alley with very little passage. Host who had a lot of patience when we arrived many times delayed by traffic jams. a very beautiful address in the Eastern Pyrenees.

The apartment is very original and tastefully furnished. As passionate chefs, we especially appreciated the well appointed kitchen with induction hobs. We particularly appreciated the permission to park our BMW motorbikes right at your doorstep, as the property is located in a narrow cul-de-sac and has no through traffic. The village is very quiet, even on New Year's Eve night there was no noise at all (but wouldn't have bothered us). We slept excellently! The hot tub in the bathroom warmed us up outside in the evening after the cool days and was a dream! Since we were there in winter, it should be mentioned that all rooms can be heated. We enjoyed the courtyard with lounge every evening to enjoy a beer after the trips. Thanks to Pierre, who not only greeted us and handed over the keys, but had gifted us with a bottle of apricot juice from our own plantation. 😃
