Steve and Jill's place is an absolute gem. What they offer is an authentic Northwoods experience. The lodge is a perfectly restored 1900s-era building with a magnificent bar overlooking Moccasin Lake. We stayed in the cabin, which was very private, comfy, and a perfect extension of the lodge. As for the lake, Moccasin Lake checks all the boxes. It is completely private, offers outstanding fishing, and, most importantly, provides complete serenity. Whether you are fishing, kayaking, or just sitting on the pier, the soundtrack will be provided by the call of the loons. On our final evening, while enjoying a campfire, the loons were joined by a fox calling for her kits, with great horned owls adding to the chorus. As hosts, Steve and Jill are among the best I've encountered at any Airbnb or VRBO. In a very short time, they will make you forget that you are guests and give you the sensation that you have been morphed into close friends or family who have been coming to the lake for years.

We stayed off season and in an ice storm and yet had a fantastic stay! Tyler was very responsive and concerned as the weather deteriorated and was very easy going on our deciding whether to stay an extra night. The cabin feels brand new, immaculate and every detail is high end. Shower has great pressure and temperature. It is a slice of solace and minimalism. The bed was amazingly comfy too! The neighboring property is well concealed from view and was no problem in our opinion. We didn’t use the outdoor property amenities but they are thoughtfully appointed including an axe throwing area. Highly recommend. We‘ll be back!

We spent 3 nights here and it was amazing!! Pictures online honestly do not do it justice. The property is stunning as is the home itself. Very accommodating and accurately labeled. Although this was our first stay we plan to make this a yearly rental!! Thank you for allowing us to use your property as the hub of our snowmobile trip!

The hosts were more than friendly! The place was worth every penny and it was squeaky clean and they wrote notes everywhere on everything so we can use it properly. It’s my first time using Airbnb, thank you for being my first choice in here. The snow was covering the whole area and it added vibes to our trip! 2nd time staying at this beautiful cabin. My husband and I bring our kayaks to enjoy fishing around the lake. Cabin itself is well kept, cozy and has everything we needed for a long weekend. Eagle River is a short distance away for dining, groceries, shopping etc. We’ve previously stayed in the summer but the fall colors were absolutely amazing. Already have our next stay booked!

From the outdoor fall scenery to the interior decor, this place was extremely beautiful and exceeded our expectations! We stayed here to run the Three Eagle half-marathon in Three Lakes, and we also fished the lake that the cabin was on. It was a very quiet and peaceful location. We had a group of 7 stay here and it was the perfect size for us - we definitely could’ve had a few extra people as well. We all said we should come back to this spot! Thanks for having us.

Excellent stay again this year - love The Pine Cone and the property. Cabin had everything we needed. we live the fact that there is an aluminum boat included and we just bring a trolling motor and battery for the lake fishing. Beautifully quiet and great place for morning and evening walks - saw deer and great pine needles smell. Will stay again next summer.

Wow ! This place is gorgeous, very relaxing, quiet and peaceful. Deer in the morning, breathtaking views. The kitchen was very well stocked also lots of supplies for bbq, fire, just like living at home. Comfortable bed. Very attentive host. As soon as we walked into the place and the smell of a wood cabin greets you we knew we would enjoy our stay. Tucked away in the woods this cabin is perfect for relaxing.

This cabin was beautiful, relaxing, serene surroundings. We were visiting family, so it was perfect. A nice escape after the businest of the holiday. It is extremely well stocked. We did not run out of anything. I can not say enough good things about this AirBnB. We are considering coming back next fall and definitely will check availability at this AirBnB first.

Brent and Becky were great hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The cabin was immaculately clean, and there was a thoughtful and generous gift bag on the dining table when we arrived. The cabin was nicely renovated and comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well appointed and stocked with everything we might need in the way of dishes, cookware and appliances. There were even snacks provided! We had great communication from our first inquiry, throughout our stay and even after our return home. We spent our time driving to explore the fall colors, hiking, and photographing the Northwoods landscapes and waterfalls. The location was a good base to see both the UP and northern Wisconsin. Highlights included O Kun de Kun Falls, Bond Falls, The Black River Falls and Harbor, and Star Lake Nature Trail. The dark sky stargazing at the cabin was amazing, and we experienced an awesome display of Northern Lights! We highly recommend Paddlers Point.

We had a great stay at Twin Rivers Resort! We came up with snowmobiles and had extremely easy access to the trails (no trailering) with many options on where to go. A super cute supper club was just next door with other bars and restaurants easy to access by sled or car ride. A couple of grocery store options within a short drive made things easy. The kitchen had everything you need and the cabin was cozy and relaxing after a long day of riding. Heidi was helpful and responded quickly when we reached out. We hope to return!

This cabin is definitely cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay! The kitchen is well stocked and the bathroom has all amenities you need (shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer). There was fresh coffee beans and grinder to make the best cup of joe every morning! The bed was very comfortable as well. At the time of our visit there was construction (not active) at the property entrance which made for a messy driveway. We were made aware and knew to navigate through this upon arrival. This would not deter me from utilizing this property in the future. We truly enjoyed our time!

We were so happy to stay at this cabin! It was very cozy and warm which was great because we got a snow storm. The cabin had everything we needed and was very homey! We would definitely recommend to anyone else to stay there. We would like to come back in the summer so we could use the nice fire pit!

Fantastic little resort. Cabin 3 was perfect for my wife and I while visiting the area for a grouse and woodcock hunting trip. The resort was easy to find. They had a super handy chalkboard in the parking area to lay out which cabin you're in with some handcarts next to it to help with the weekend move in process. Owner checked in on us to make sure we were doing well with our stay. I can't wait to come back! If the weather was nicer I may have even taken advantage of the campfire ring and paddle boats available on the resort.

Beautiful getaway. A river runs by providing soothing sounds and picturesque sights. Can be seen from the wonderful hot tub out back and from the long covered deck. Some property to walk, but also close to many waterfall hikes, if you're wanting some outdoor adventure. During bad weather or you're feeling lazy, the couch is very comfy and the TV large. Hannah was extremely responsive and helpful (I got my car stuck, through my own fault, and she facilitated my escape). She provided recommendations of her own accord, and they all turned out to be accurate.

This cabin was great! Very Clean and had everything we needed and more! It doesn't come with firewood as shown or charcoal for the grill. My only complaint would be the master bathroom. It needs updating. The faucet sprays all over, tub faucet leaks when shower is running, and the toilet has an issue where it takes forever to fill. Also some shelving above the toilet like in the other bathroom would be great for your toiletries. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay here! Super clean and so relaxing! Hot tub was perfect!. Joey was a wonderful host! It rained one of the days so we really appreciated the guestbook that Joey sent over with all the local recommendations— went and got coffees from the recommended coffee shop, we went bowling in Tomahawk and out to lunch and had a great time. Also, the game selection at the cabin is the best I’ve seen, we loved the variety!! Will definitely be back someday!

This house is such amazing home, very clean and well appointed for anything you need. This location can’t be beat! Our hockey team was able relax after a long day on the lake playing.

Denise was a wonderful host! The cabin was exactly what we expected and very cozy for a quick weekend getaway from the city. Denise met us when we arrived, explained where the cabin was, and gave some good suggestions for what to do while we were there. The cabin was amazing and we loved the wood stove. It was close to snowmobile trails and it’s 78 acre property. We will be booking again next year for sure!! Also the host got the drive way plowed quickly for my wife and I. Couldn’t have asked for more

Want to get away from the city and see nature on your back step, COME HERE!! The deer greeted us when we pulled in and we felt secluded in the woods but everything was at our fingertips. Gene was amazing. We had a questions and replied right away and was very helpful. We came to snowmobile and we didn’t want to leave! We will for sure be back and stay here again! Also, great selection of DVD/Blueray. We watched a few movies at night. We did not have kids but a cute loft for children to sleep and had a few games and Lincoln logs! (Our kids favorite) Thank you again!

Great location! We’ve been doing this trip for 5 years and we’re never able to bring our pup who loves the UP and the snow so we really appreciated that we could bring him this weekend. The place was clean and had plenty of space for the 10 adults we had. The kitchen was fully stocked and allowed us to do all the cooking we wanted. Would stay again!

Great little cabin! I was able to walk the woods on the property, and ventured into the Nicolet Forrest with my dog. The cabin was great. It was perfect for our short stay. Be aware that there is no cell signal in the area. This was not a concern for me. There was a nearby tavern that had WiFi, and they were happy to let me use it for a phone call. Highly recommend, and would definitely go again.

We book several Airbnbs each winter to ski and found d Nancy's place as it fit our group and was dog friendly. It was cute and spacious, and had everything we needed. We liked that it had streaming services and DirectTv. It's not listed in the listing, but it has a pull out couch in the family that could be used for extra space. We liked the electric heat base boards in each room so we can control the heat in each room. It's also about 5 minutes from Ski Brule which was nice. We would like to come back
