Jacks lodge was very clean, quiet and cosy. It’s also had everything you could need in there. Also Jack provided clear instructions on the location of the lodge as there are a few. It’s a good location to the Lake District and perfect for walkers and dog owners. My dog loved the lake and walk by the beach which was within 5 minutes of the lodge. And lake Windermere just an hour away. I would love to visit again sometime.

The house was exactly what we were looking for. It had everything we needed. it was extremely clean and had all the supplied you could need for a lovely weekend away.

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation looks just like the pictures. It was spotlessly clean. Sandra went above and beyond putting a few little surprises out as it was a birthday break (as well as treats for our pup), along with the day to day essentials e.g. milk in fridge on arrival. Sandra was a very friendly and responsive host; offering lots of recommendations for the area. The place was just wonderful, with amazing views of the lake, and super relaxing. It was a good base to drive out to the nearby sights e.g. Windermere, Kendal, Lakeland Car Museum etc. we had a wonderful stay and couldn't recommend Sandra's place more! Thank you once again :-)

"We had a wonderful stay at this seaside location with a lovely balcony. The space was clean, and the hosts were very kind and friendly. Unfortunately, the TV was outdated and couldn't support streaming services like Netflix, YouTube, or iPlayer. I would not recommend this place for elderly guests, as there are quite a few steps (as mentioned by the host). Thank you!"
