We had a wonderful stay at Greg's home. Ray, who showed us round gave us the perfect welcome and explained everything to us. The photos looked fantastic but it's even more beautiful in person. Amazing facilities, very clean, and every single bedroom was lovely. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need to cook a big meal, there was a huge supply of tea and coffee and they even provided milk and biscuits! The hot tub was a welcome addition, incredibly well maintained, worked perfectly and lovely and warm by the time we came to use it. It's just the perfect home for entertaining. We visited as a family of six adults and thought it was brilliant, from the enormous TV to the boardgames and Sonos system. There was just so much room - perfect for small children too. The weather was awful but we didn't mind staying in because the house was so beautiful. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Lovely cottage and surrounding canals/area. Our family had a great time celebrating my husbands 40th birthday. Amy was a fantastic host, accommodating special requests for bday decor and cake. Prior to our stay gave us recommendations of places to take our children and local trains etc. Then during our stay answered my questions very quickly. The cottage itself is beautiful, lovely decor, cosy and has a relaxing feel to it. On arrival we had a welcome basket with little treats and all the little extras like toiletries, washing up tabs etc were available. The hot tub was great, we used it three times during our stay! Our kids were able to play in the large garden and there were lots of games/toys at the cottage to keep them busy. Overall - we couldn’t recommend Top Locks cottage more! We had the best time staying here and would love to come and stay again.

We loved our mini break at Lorraine's place. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and very homely, the garden feels very private, even with houses all around. Addingham is a lovely village with great pubs serving delicious food, it is also perfectly located for exploring West/North Yorkshire. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation was super sweet and perfect for a calm getaway. The home was decorated well and could tell it was well thought with extra touches such as Prosecco, mini chocolates and robes. Would definitely stay again and the hosts helped us with the hot tub. Thank you!

Hermitage cottage was in a beautiful situation right on the river Lune. The cottage was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the hot tub, the barbecue and the outdoor seating. We were extremely fortunate with the weather and really enjoyed our stay. Walks around the estate were lovely. It is a lovely base to explore the Forest of Bowland and surrounding areas.

Wonderfully peaceful location. Holly Toft is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We paticularly appreciated how much care was given to ensuring the hot tub was spotlessly clean and freshly filled for our arrival. Kathryn is a superb host who clearly cares a lot about her guests. The field full of adorable lambs to look out on was a delightful bonus! Highly recommend! Thank you Kathryn.

We loved the cottage and the hot tub was an added bonus each day after a long walk. It was very quiet, which we like. The cottage was furnished to a high quality and the bed was really comfy. There is plenty of lovely walks close by. We would certainly visit again.

Tanner Bank Cottage is a real gem… peaceful, tucked away, and with stunning views. Spotlessly clean, nicely kitted out, and just a lovely place to switch off and unwind. Sam was very helpful and responsive host. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

We had a lovely weekend with family. Accommodation was perfect for us all. Beautiful location with a lovely pub nearby. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back.

We had such a lovely stay in The Wendy House, there was a footpath right outside leading to a river so the dogs were very happy! The place was clean, tidy and well equipped. We had neighbours next to us and Lisa and Neil lived close by but other than a friendly welcoming we were left alone, very peaceful, just what we wanted. Thank you both very much, we would highly recommend and come back again!

A distinctive character cottage lovingly furnished and well equipped, with great views. A short distance from the canals for walking/cycling and only 30 min canal side walk (3 min drive) into the beautiful Gargrave for shops and pubs. Comfortable. Characterful. Well equipped. Lovely bathroom Compact kitchen would be cosy for four to dine, but has all you need and there is space to eat outside (weather permitting) too. It is right beside the A65 so there is road noise but Host Laura says that in the description - it’s a Toll House, so no surprise - but the enormous old walls help stop it being intrusive, and is probably reflected in the great value. The outside area is secure for pets and children. .

Really lovely cottage in a fantastic village with great walks. Really appreciated the jams, milk, bread and prosecco left for us as well. Heating system worked really well too, can tell the cottage must be really cosy in the winter. Only small piece of feedback is there was no general bin, only a food bin and we had to tie a bin liner we found to a door to create a makeshift one. Would definitely stay again!

Barn Cottage exceeded our expectations. Set in the most beautiful landscape. The cottage was clean, cosy, had everything we needed and more (games room with lots of games, books and a football table!) and the private garden was just stunning. My friend and I went to do the 3 peaks so was the great location not far away from the start point to rest and recover! The icing on the cake was meeting and feeding the cute Pygmy goats and chickens. Loved our stay, would 100% stay again

I loved my stay at Nic's place and it was the perfect base for a few days of walking in Calderdale. The kitchen was well stocked with basics and the living area itself had character and a wonderful bookshelf. Nic was also quick to act when I had an issue with the WiFi. I would happily visit again!

Well what a lovely find! Beautiful quirky cottage perfect for town and walks. VERY dog friendly. Tracey is a great host and nothing is too much trouble (even though we packed one of her bowls and took it home my mistake!). Treats for humans and canines. Super comfy bed. All the essentials for washing pots and humans all provided! Stroll into town less than 10mins. A bit longer back as a bit of a hill good to burn off the calories undoubtedly imbibed! We had a nice meal at the Old Bridge, lovely cakes from the bakery across the junction on the corner and a nice drink at the Cheese and Deli. All in all, a lovely stay. Dingley reservoir a must if you are an occasional walker. Less than 50mins and less than 1.3 miles. A drink and lunch at the Bowshaw Trout recommended as well and they have print offs of walks from there that you can help yourself to. Will definitely be visiting again. What a find ! A great place to stay in a quiet location near the woods which was great for our dog. The accommodation was spotless and had everything we need for our short break. The welcome pack was a bonus with information on things to do and places to eat which is great especially when you have a dog with you,The Alma inn had the best food! Jill is such a lovely welcoming host( but never intrudes ) and was quick to respond to any queries we had. We would definitely recommend a visit and will return someday.

A lovely and peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle. Ideal size for a couple, a cosy base for us when visiting family and friends in the North West. The hosts are friendly and caring and the apartment is supplied with all you need for a comfortable stay.

Just enjoyed a 3 night stay in this beautiful cottage. Host was very responsive and supplied all the information we could have required. We immediately felt very at home , the decor is very tasteful and it was spotless throughout .It's in a great position for exploring the locality, would happily return.

I can’t speak highly enough of Hayloft - a fantastic peaceful property in a beautiful location. Cosy, tastefully decorated and well equipped - first class from top to bottom. Great walks from the door and lots to see and do if venturing out in the car. Fiona was the perfect host and we only wish we could have stayed longer. We will return!

This property is excellent - if six stars could be awarded for a property, this would be the one. I don't think that Julia has forgotten about anything. Whatever you need during your stay, you'll find it here. The property is very tastefully decorated and furnished and it is clean and tidy. The shower is excellent, the bed is comfortable, the wifi works, the provisions for breakfast are perfect. You'll enjoy your stay!!

Corner Cottage in Wheelton is a superb property. Andrew was consistently super responsive and helpful. The property is so well located with great links to excellent pubs, restaurants and beautiful picturesque walks, especially along the canal. We loved our time here and would return in a heartbeat.

We had such a lovely stay in the cottage. It was as described and spotless. The balcony was such a lovely addition for evening drinks in the sun and Mytholmroyd has a few nice pubs too! It was in a great location to visit Hebden Bridge and Halifax. There is also a direct train to Chester too!
