House vacation rentals in Borough of Burnley

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

The house is amazing! It goes on forever and the rooms are huge and decorated beautifully. Really quiet, peaceful location with wonderful views. We only stayed for one night so didn’t really get the opportunity to make the most of the house - would definitely recommend for a family gathering or celebrating with friends.

Lovely, spacious , well appointed cottage in lovely village. Spa shop and pub very close. Although on a main road in the village we found it quiet in the cottage. Very comfortable beds. Would recommend.

Beautiful property in a gorgeous location. Angela Louise had added personal touches and had really thought about what we might need during our stay. Had a wonderful break.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

Stayed with a group of friends - was fantastic, the gaming room, the pool, the garden/bbq areas, freshly cut football pitch. Only issue was one of the wifi routers didn’t work, but we worked around it.

We had a fantastic stay , the barn was beautiful ,mike was very helpful and friendly. My granddaughters was very happy to see the baby chicks hatching and the lovely fresh eggs went down well for breakfast , we didn't use the pool has the girl's was bad and and it would be nice if it was in with the price , £40 a day is a bit much if ur there for a few days and only using it for about an hour or so a day . A fantastic place well worth a visit

We had a wonderful stay at this property while visiting family in the area, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for our needs. The home was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable—an ideal place for our family to relax and recharge between visits. It truly felt like a home away from home, which made our time together even more meaningful. What really stood out was how beautifully maintained the home was. Charlotte has clearly put so much care and thought into every detail. From the welcoming touches to the well-stocked amenities, it’s obvious she takes great pride in making sure her guests feel at ease. The space was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had everything we could have possibly needed for a comfortable stay. Charlotte herself was amazing—warm, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful throughout our visit. She made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.

Michelle's place was beautifully kept and thoughtfully designed, full of historic quirks and features. The facilities are great and there were some very generous extras provided, as well as all of the usual basics. She communicated very clearly before and throughout our stay, including very useful local tips. The location was great for a wander into Todmorden, including the local Aldi, as well as the train station, which we used for a little trip into Hebden Bridge. The only word of caution would be around the location of the place and/or the spiral staircase for the attic bedroom. They are part of what gives the location/house character but they may be tricky for some. Overall, I'd heartily recommend Michelle's place for anyone wanting to explore this area of Yorkshire.

We had a wonderful few days at Winkley Hall Farm. Fantastic property in a wonderful, peaceful location with everything you need for a relaxing, long weekend break. Our communication with our hosts was great from the moment we booked, to arrival and throughout our stay. And the lovely welcome gift was an added surprise and greatly appreciated! We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend this property, and will look to return at some point in the future.

The cottage was charming, impeccably presented and very comfortable. Everything has been carefully planned with the interest and convenience of guests in mind. The hosts were proactive, attentive and responsive. I couldn't fault it.

We had a family get together at The Old Vicarage and we had the best time. Very impressed with rooms , the cleanliness and feel of the place .

We returned home yesterday after our stay at Wycoller Cottage. We didnt want to leave, we had an amazing time. Beautiful Cottage in a beautiful setting. Theresa is really lovely and very responsive when I required any help or advice. I would 100% recommend staying at this stunning cottage xx

Highly recommended - really nice home and very clean Was also well furnished and the provided board games were popular with my kids Only comment was that on warm sunny days, the upstairs bedrooms being in the loft get incredibly hot - they could do with fans to keep cool

We stayed six weeks, late April through early June. The house was perfect for my wife and I and we really enjoyed the home and rural but close to everything location. We decided to use bus and train passes with the occasional taxi and saw so much more than renting a car as we have in the past. We walked up the hill everyday to the house from the main road and at 70 years old we had no problems, it was good exercise before bed each evening. Susan and her husband Mark were perfect hosts, we saw them often and were very helpful. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Our best recommendation for this home is "We will stay again." At different times we walked all the local canals from Todmorden to Brighouse in sections, visited dozens of local villages and took the train to Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool, the airport and even down to London and Kent. Our bus passes also allowed us to roam all over Yorkshire.

He was accommodating and even took the time to show me the space to see if it was the right fit for my bestmen & groomsmen the night before my wedding. Thank you Paul. We’ve had an amazing time at Ashley’s cottage! The location is excellent; just a few steps away from the most beautiful forest we’ve been to. Oud dog loved the walks! The riverwalk to town was also great, but more of a climb than anticipated haha. The cottage has rustic wooden floors, a cosy fireplace, a very funky well equipped kitchen with a lovely welkom basket. The marmalade was excellent as well as the prosecco! ! Penash were very responsive and helpful, again thanks for bringing the drying rack! The garden was mature, but a bit of a climb to get to. Thanks so much for everything!

We stayed as Garry had some church business over the Easter so decided to make a break of it. Mark was a fantastic host, very responsive and left lots of lovely treats. House well equipped and modern with a fabulous bathroom and nice master bedroom and kitchen. It is off quite a busy road, so has many local shops and takeaways on the doorstep. It is on a residential street but the neighbours were friendly enough I imagine parking could be a bit of an issue sometimes. We had a nice break and had some nice food and drinks while there.
