Lovely cottage and surrounding canals/area. Our family had a great time celebrating my husbands 40th birthday. Amy was a fantastic host, accommodating special requests for bday decor and cake. Prior to our stay gave us recommendations of places to take our children and local trains etc. Then during our stay answered my questions very quickly. The cottage itself is beautiful, lovely decor, cosy and has a relaxing feel to it. On arrival we had a welcome basket with little treats and all the little extras like toiletries, washing up tabs etc were available. The hot tub was great, we used it three times during our stay! Our kids were able to play in the large garden and there were lots of games/toys at the cottage to keep them busy. Overall - we couldn’t recommend Top Locks cottage more! We had the best time staying here and would love to come and stay again.

We loved staying at Scarlett’s place. We had everything we needed and everything was so easy to use. Very responsive host and great for letting us know that the place was ready an hour early! Hot tub was nice and warm with great location and privacy. We went to travellers rest (10 min walk) and the food was so nice and big portion sizes for the price. We even went back later on for the Wednesday night quiz night! Overall great place and would definitely stay again. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay at this airbnb. The surroundings and building itself are beautiful. We fell in love with the very friendly cat who visited us many times. The balcony and garden are gorgeous and we got incredibly lucky with the weather. It maybe wasn’t as private as the listing suggests but it wasn’t much of an issue for us. The hosts were incredibly helpful to bring us plenty of bottled water while the water mains in the area were having some problems. We had a fantastic stay here.

We loved our mini break at Lorraine's place. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and very homely, the garden feels very private, even with houses all around. Addingham is a lovely village with great pubs serving delicious food, it is also perfectly located for exploring West/North Yorkshire. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation was super sweet and perfect for a calm getaway. The home was decorated well and could tell it was well thought with extra touches such as Prosecco, mini chocolates and robes. Would definitely stay again and the hosts helped us with the hot tub. Thank you!

Wonderfully peaceful location. Holly Toft is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We paticularly appreciated how much care was given to ensuring the hot tub was spotlessly clean and freshly filled for our arrival. Kathryn is a superb host who clearly cares a lot about her guests. We loved the cottage and the hot tub was an added bonus each day after a long walk. It was very quiet, which we like. The cottage was furnished to a high quality and the bed was really comfy. There is plenty of lovely walks close by. We would certainly visit again.

Tanner Bank Cottage is a real gem… peaceful, tucked away, and with stunning views. Spotlessly clean, nicely kitted out, and just a lovely place to switch off and unwind. Sam was very helpful and responsive host. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

We had a lovely weekend with family. Accommodation was perfect for us all. Beautiful location with a lovely pub nearby. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back.

We had such a lovely stay in The Wendy House, there was a footpath right outside leading to a river so the dogs were very happy! The place was clean, tidy and well equipped. We had neighbours next to us and Lisa and Neil lived close by but other than a friendly welcoming we were left alone, very peaceful, just what we wanted. Thank you both very much, we would highly recommend and come back again!

A distinctive character cottage lovingly furnished and well equipped, with great views. A short distance from the canals for walking/cycling and only 30 min canal side walk (3 min drive) into the beautiful Gargrave for shops and pubs. Comfortable. Characterful. Well equipped. Lovely bathroom Compact kitchen would be cosy for four to dine, but has all you need and there is space to eat outside (weather permitting) too. It is right beside the A65 so there is road noise but Host Laura says that in the description - it’s a Toll House, so no surprise - but the enormous old walls help stop it being intrusive, and is probably reflected in the great value. The outside area is secure for pets and children. .

Tucked away, in a quiet corner of Haworth, five minutes walk from the bottom end of the main street, the cottage, was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. With plenty to do in the area, the cottage is within ten minutes walk of Haworth's pubs and restaurants, and about 15 minutes from the Bronte Parsonage Museum, at the top of the hill. We parked up, right outside the cottage, when we arrived, and walked everywhere over our weekend's stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at Fran's cottage! Fran has really made this place stand out and you can tell how much care and attention to detail has gone into making the space feel welcoming and cosy. We loved the welcome gifts including freshly baked bread. The cottage is really well equipped with everything you need, and it was easy to find everything. Fran really thought of everything to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We would definitely recommend this gem to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. I loved my stay at Nic's place and it was the perfect base for a few days of walking in Calderdale. The kitchen was well stocked with basics and the living area itself had character and a wonderful bookshelf. Nic was also quick to act when I had an issue with the WiFi. I would happily visit again!

Well what a lovely find! Beautiful quirky cottage perfect for town and walks. VERY dog friendly. Tracey is a great host and nothing is too much trouble (even though we packed one of her bowls and took it home my mistake!). Treats for humans and canines. Super comfy bed. All the essentials for washing pots and humans all provided! Stroll into town less than 10mins. A bit longer back as a bit of a hill good to burn off the calories undoubtedly imbibed! We had a nice meal at the Old Bridge, lovely cakes from the bakery across the junction on the corner and a nice drink at the Cheese and Deli. All in all, a lovely stay. Dingley reservoir a must if you are an occasional walker. Less than 50mins and less than 1.3 miles. A drink and lunch at the Bowshaw Trout recommended as well and they have print offs of walks from there that you can help yourself to. Will definitely be visiting again. Corner Cottage in Wheelton is a superb property. Andrew was consistently super responsive and helpful. The property is so well located with great links to excellent pubs, restaurants and beautiful picturesque walks, especially along the canal. We loved our time here and would return in a heartbeat.

I had an amazing time staying here! Susan was a fantastic host—so warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. She gave us a lovely tour of the place and made everything so easy with her clear directions. It was super simple to get there. One of the highlights was how thoughtful she was—she even gave my son some books to read, which he absolutely loved. I mentioned we were planning a picnic with family, and she kindly provided a picnic blanket for us! The area itself is beautiful—private, quiet, and peaceful. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of London, and we were finally able to get some proper rest. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Thank you, Susan, for making our stay so special!

Beautiful cottage with lovely views and private location. Everything was super tidy and clean and Sylvia had put some really nice touches in there to make you feel welcome and at home. It had everything you could need and was a really relaxing place. Would definitely recommend.

Emma's cottage is totally gorgeous, very cosy and comfortable. Great walks from the door step as well.

Just enjoyed a 3 night stay in this beautiful cottage. Host was very responsive and supplied all the information we could have required. We immediately felt very at home , the decor is very tasteful and it was spotless throughout .It's in a great position for exploring the locality, would happily return.

I can’t speak highly enough of Hayloft - a fantastic peaceful property in a beautiful location. Cosy, tastefully decorated and well equipped - first class from top to bottom. Great walks from the door and lots to see and do if venturing out in the car. Fiona was the perfect host and we only wish we could have stayed longer. We will return!

This property is excellent - if six stars could be awarded for a property, this would be the one. I don't think that Julia has forgotten about anything. Whatever you need during your stay, you'll find it here. The property is very tastefully decorated and furnished and it is clean and tidy. The shower is excellent, the bed is comfortable, the wifi works, the provisions for breakfast are perfect. You'll enjoy your stay!!

They say good things come in small packages and Hygge cottage was certainly that. Although it appeared small on the outside there was more than enough room inside. We had everything we needed with a well equipped kitchen and lots of little extras provided. We had lots of messages from Karl to make sure we could get in and that everything was ok for us during our stay. It was just a very short walk into town from the accommodation and we found Hebden a very lively place. There was a Saturday market and all the pubs, cafes and restaurants were busy. It’s a perfect place for exploring the area and Heptonstall is a must see village. It’s a great base for walking some of the Pennine way.
