We loved the space and it was perfect to go see a show at Beech mountain. Easily walkable to the mountain for the concert.

This by far the best place we have stayed in the last few years. It was beautifully and comfortably decorated. Had everything we needed. Morning came with a symphony of birds and sounds from the cows in the neighboring farm. Nighttime brought a chorus of tree frogs. The beds were comfortable the kitchen stocked and the hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day. Close to fishing and hiking. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.

This little cabin was in a gorgeous location! Right next to the snow tubing and not far from grandfather mountain! The views from the hot tub were amazing! Brought our two dogs and they loved it! The patio with the hot tub was fenced in so the dogs were able to hang with us while we were relaxing in the hot tub! Definitely would recommend and plan to come back!

House was great. Very clean and the host were extremely helpful and responsive.

We had a great stay at William's place. it was clean, peaceful and we felt right at home. The grill and hot tub made it a great place to relax, unwind, and cook out after a day out. Would definitely stay again!

What a perfect name for this home - Cozy Cabin was cozy indeed! This home had everything we needed for two families with small kids and a dog. The location was great and we loved spending time on the back deck. Such a peaceful setting and a great location with proximity to Boone and Blowing Rock. The hosts were super responsive and left great info and recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. We didn’t want to leave but are already looking forward to our next stay here!

I had a great month long early spring stay at this mountainside studio condo with beautiful mountain and valley views. The unit was clean, comfortable, relaxing, and was perfect for my very simple needs. There are many on site and nearby (non-ski season) mountain hiking trails and quiet neighborhood road walking routes. I appreciated having access to the heated indoor pool and fitness room in the community clubhouse. Overall, a wonderful spot for anyone looking to enjoy the mountains!

Very comfortable lots of space very relaxing would love to stay again

This is our second stay at Nicole's place. Five-star accommodations - squeaky clean, super comfortable beds, and we appreciate all the extra amenities (coffee, snacks, spices, etc.). The deck is the perfect place for a morning coffee or evening meal. Can't beat the location as you can walk to town, the outlet mall, and the trails at Cone Manor Park.

What a great place! Also the host was very kind and great communication! Very nice place and only 10 minutes from Sugar Mountain. Wonderful amenities including pool, hot tub, sauna, library, shop, workout room etc etc. Only (potential) issue which is no fault of the owners is that this is a large 10 story condo complex. On busy days, especially around the weekend it can get very busy during check in and check out and you have to park outside of the guard shack and get shuttled back to the condo. Again, we didn’t really have much of a hang up but others did-just something to keep in mind. Fantastic place, and well equipped! Thank you again!

We enjoyed our stay at Abril and Christophers place. Location was great for access to the mountain biking trails.

Great home to stay in with family in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Property was very comfortable and clean. We would book again.

Whitney & Jay were great hosts—responsive and helpful when we had questions. The space was just as shown/described in the listing. My family of four enjoyed our stay during spring break and our first time skiing during Sugar Mountain’s end-of-season March Madness. We made such wonderful memories here. Be sure to enjoy the most stunning sunrises and sunsets from the balcony.

Great place, exactly as advertised. Cheetola in general is a great resort and Balsam is off to one side, giving you extra privacy with woods in the back. 15 min drive to App Ski, which is what we came for. The place does have a dated furnishing style but it’s charming in its own way. One suggestion for improvement would be the mattress in the main bedroom, starting to get a bit old. Also, there was ice in the parking lot and on the steps leading to the unit. But that seems to be a Cheetola problem, not Gail.

We loved your beautiful cabin! Sitting in the front porch with the view of the lake was so peaceful and relaxing. We had everything we needed. Great getaway weekend!!

I cannot recommend this place enough!! First off the privacy and the view was spectacular. We were greeted by the cutest dogs! We were able to rest and enjoy the fire pit while lying on the hammock. And the host took us around to see his goats, horses and dogs! It was so enjoyable! I will recommend it to anyone who needs to escape from the city life!

This is our second time staying at this lake perfection. Already planning the next trip! The house is truly perfect in every way and has so many amenities that help to make it the most relaxing and fun stay! Wonderful location, well stocked home, best view and space to completely unwind!

Serene, quiet, clean, set up for families. We rented it for graduation weekend for Appalachian State and it was perfect. Rachel has created a beautiful space that feels like home. Super clean, easy walk to the river, breathtaking views and surroundings. Everything is there that you need to enjoy your time there, but remember to bring soap, shampoo etc, and if you need to do laundry, detergent. There is detergent provided for your checkout loads, and there were cleaning products just like you probably have at home to keep her home as clean as you keep yours- would love to stay to there again!

Tom is very responsive. Answered all of our questions and replied promptly. There was a large group of us visiting for our granddaughter's graduation from App State. We had a great time playing pool , corn hole, and board games. Kitchen was well equipped to prepare our food for the party. The sleeping accommodations were all very comfortable. Three full baths was so great to have with our group. The setting was beautiful, serene and private. Would definitely stay there again.

This is our second time staying at one of Claudia's cottages. Always a nice get away and be peaceful. Claudia is a great host. The power went out and right away, she messaged us stating she contacted the power company. I highly recommend Claudia's place. We will definitely come back.

CUTE!! And Serene! To be almost 100 yrs old the home is in fantastic shape. furniture was comfy. House was clean & as described. The area is beautiful & we loved the view, the sound of the stream talking to our neighbors in the morning...the herd of cows on the neighboring farm. And half way to West Jefferson & Boone.Definitely someplace we will consider again!

We loved the location near downtown blowing rock but also great views of the mountains. Very clean and well kept. Had everything we needed.
