Perfect little bungalow for our stay. Comfortable space for our family of three. Loved the original details of the home like the built ins, picture ledges and window transoms. We had everything we needed for the weekend and were close to great restaurants and coffee shops! Lively neighborhood with residents out walking their dogs in the daytime and peaceful quiet in the evening.

We stayed at Maria's place with our two 14- and 11-year-old kids for a week and had a perfect vacation. Maria had great recommendations and clear instructions on where to park and enter. We loved walking to Rosemont Cafe and the beach, and our favorite local dinners were at The Promiscuous Fork, The Taco Stand, and El Pescador. Beds and linens were very comfortable, and the patio was peaceful and private. Highly recommended!

We were super happy with the location of the home! Very walkable, loved that we were steps from both the bay and the ocean! Lower patio and rooftop were our favorite places to take in the evenings! Water toys were abundant and we enjoyed using the kayaks out in the bay. It was a little difficult to control the temperature in the home, but nothing that would deter us from returning. That may have been an "us" problem, too. Only other "quirk" I would mention is that you have to walk through a bathroom to get to the 2nd bedroom. Again, not that big of a deal, especially when traveling with kids. Overall, the house was perfect for our family of 3. Nick was very responsive when I reached out. Neighbors were friendly. Great recommendations for places to eat. Highly suggest Kono's! We all said we would definitely stay here again on a return trip! Thank you, Nick for such a great stay!!

Great place! We stayed there for a college visit to SDSU and found that the location was excellent. It was pretty convenient to everywhere - beach, little Italy, airport, old town. The area is quiet and comfortable - walking distance to a grocery store and good restaurants just minutes away. The house is clean and spacious with plenty of room for everybody and everything you need. Our host was quick to respond, friendly, and accommodating. Love San Diego! Hoping my daughter commits to SDSU - would definitely stay here again.

Randy’s place was fantastic. It was as described and depicted in photos. Randy was a great host. He was very accommodating and accessible. The place was comfortable and clean. The living space/kitchen/dining area was great for our group of 6 adults. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and quiet. The location was amazing. One small block to the beach. The grocery store and coffee/bars are so close. We used the bikes, Prokadima and beach chairs. Such a great place for the price. Thank you Randy for sharing your place with us!

We enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s place. We felt like it had lots of room for us, all the kitchen things we needed, and the best part was the beach chairs and towels we found!! There were even beach toys I wish I had known about before packing our own. Jennifer communicated well with us if we needed anything. I would note that if you have small children you may want to consider the short drive to Belmont Park and the beach there for your beach day. Ocean Beach felt a bit of an older crowd, which was fine and super cool for my husband and I, but we felt Mission Beach was a better fit for the family beach day we had. Either way, we do recommend this place. Thanks Jennifer!

Had a fantastic stay in La Jolla in this charming 1920’s cottage. May not have all the mod cons but a very comfortable house in an amazing location. We only used the car for a large shop or to drive to San Diego zoo, Coronado etc. The beach is located at the end of the street, restaurants and independent shops abound all in walking distance. There is a public pool a short walk where you can get pay as you go lap swimming passes. We were there 4 weeks and Erin was always available for any issues (none arose). Would definitely recommend this place.

BEAUTIFUL home! I’ve stayed in a few air bnbs, and this hands down was the best home I’ve ever stayed in. It accommodated all of us girls with plenty of room. It was extremely clean and felt very homey. Location was amazing, only a 9 minute walk to all the shops and the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could imagine. I love this house, and can’t wait to stay again.
