Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Bogenhausen

The apartment is very cozy and you immediately feel comfortable. It has everything you need. You sleep very well because it is a quiet house and you can darken the rooms very well. Andrea was always a very friendly contact person for us! We would rent the apartment again if we are in Munich. Everything was perfect! 🤩

Markus’ stunningly modern and spacious apartment is in a terrific neighborhood that was perfect for our nine-day stay in Munich.  From my first contact with Markus nine months ago to the day I left, he was an ideal host. He responded fast with any requests and even delivered patio furniture two days into our stay. The Apartment: The apartment is very big and sunny. It is extraordinarily immaculate and ideally laid out. The furniture was chic and modern and extremely comfortable. Although the bedroom and living room were one continuous space, nonetheless, there was a judicious separation of the two. The kitchen was well fitted out for simple dining.  As we were there in the summer, we used the patio a lot, which was a plus.  The bathroom is large with outstanding water pressure in a superb shower.   The TV screen was large and the Internet was fast and reliable.  The Neighborhood: The apartment is located in a very pleasant residential area populated mostly with young families with children.  There were plenty of food shops in the area – we tended to use Tengelmann Supermarket on Stuntzstrasse for most foods. And what a pleasure it was to walk three minutes to Bäckerei Schmidt on Stuntzstrasse  each morning (closed on Sunday) for fresh rolls for breakfast.  We particularly liked the Saltzstahns—rolls with caraway seeds and salt.  The U-bahn stop, Bohmerwaldplatz, is only a seven-minute walk. Many of the apartments in the complex were rented to college students who loved to talk and play music in the evening. Though it could have been noisy, it was not for us. In fact, the extensive common lawn at the back had many songbirds. Kudos to Markus for allowing this great place to be part of the Airbnb. 

We stayed for a weekend at Olka's place, we used the accommodation to commute to Munich. The property is quiet and well appointed. We felt comfortable

The apartment is warmly furnished and as shown in the pictures, we felt comfortable right away. Jochen is a very friendly host who provided us with great tips for the area. A recommendation for anyone looking for a break in the countryside.

Incredibly inviting and well mannered. Wolfger was always happy to help when I needed help in some way with acclimating to living in Munich. Always invited me to eat with him. A kind soul that made my first month in Munich and incredibly warm welcome.

We (family with 2 children) felt very comfortable with Andy! The apartment is very clean and very large. Tram 21 goes right outside the front door to the city center - this is of course very convenient :-) If you walk a little (about 10 minutes), you can take the U-Bahn (Josephsburg) or in the other direction the S-Bahn (Berg am Laim). Right around the corner near the apartment are two bakers. Check in and out were very flexible and hassle-free - thanks to the great description we found the apartment easily. Andy is totally helpful and very, very nice - we didn't miss anything! Many thanks for this!

The best thing about this accommodation is its host, Martin. So nice and kind young man who made our stay wonderful and made us feel like we were in our home. Martin's home is beautiful, comfortable, stylishly arranged and very clean. It have beautiful garden which gives you a place to fully enjoy in the nature and sun, while the spa center a minute away, gives this home six stars. There are many shops and cafes in the area, and it takes half an hour to get to the center of Munich. Visit Martins ovely home and enjoy as a king. I know we will soon again. I’ve written reviews of Adrian’s place before but it’s worth repeating that he’s is a wonderful host, and the place suits my needs perfectly.

Great hosts! We arrived to get the keys and were treated to beer and food in the refrigerator. The space was great for our purpose with easy access to buses and trains to Octoberfest and Bayern Munich. The space was as promised and they were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Would highly recommend this place for a base for exploring the area!!!

Like staying with friends privately…. It was easy to get in, it was easy to settle in… balcony out to the garden where there is a small river as well as a larger canal further up and in the morning there is a beautiful view.. Old vinyl records as well as record player in the living room which made the stay even more nostalgic.. super welcoming couple with the loveliest little girl…🤗 If you want to slow down, this is the perfect place.

Very clean, lots of privacy, great breakfast, lots of flexibility. Well connected to Munich by the S3 (30 min to Munich Central Station), enough street parking. Excellent!

We had a great week stay at the location. Three days of business, four days of tourism. It was conveniently located near my meetings, and the train down to the tourist area (and everywhere else in Munich) was within walking distance from the house. The house had a great living room, kitchen, and there were nice rooms on the second and third floor. (I would not recommend this for folks with mobility issues since it has a staircase that is almost a spiral staircase). The room on the third floor bed would have been tight for two people, but was perfect for me, the second floor bedroom was perfect for two. The host was super responsive and let us check in early and stay late at no extra charge. Check out was simple. We received local recommendations, and enjoyed our stay. If you are staying in hot weather, be forewarned that there isn't air conditioning and the third floor can be warm. It ended up being cool, and I was able to open up the windows so it was pleasant.

I had a wonderful time at Daniela's apartment. Daniela is always available and ready to help. The place is suitable for remote work. The only thing is that the TV was on loud all day, but it is not critical. I could also use the kitchen calmly and even baked cookies in the oven for a friend, taking all the necessary utensils from Daniela. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay at Achim and Elena’s beautiful home in Eching, Munich—not just once, but twice during our trip! We loved the property so much that we stayed from December 17-23 and returned again from January 6-11. Both Achim and his wife Elena were fantastic hosts. Elena greeted us during our first stay, which made us feel very welcomed right from the start. During our second stay, their thoughtfulness truly stood out—they graciously left meat in the fridge for us, knowing it was a holiday in Munich and supermarkets would be closed. This kind gesture went above and beyond and made us feel very cared for. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We highly recommend this beautiful property and would love to stay here again during a future visit to Munich!

We had a lovely weekend with 10 people - I can recommend the property at any time. Very beautifully restored farmhouse with attention to detail. The kitchen is equipped with brand-name appliances and nothing else was missing. The contact with Sabeeka was great and nice. Great house 👌🏻

Manuel is a perfect host, always ready to respond to requests. He is very respectful of privacy. The room is very spacious, as you can see from the photos, and has everything you need. Very nice and functional bathroom. The house is located in a quiet area in a beautiful village in Bavaria; Monaco can be reached in about 20 minutes by train starting from the city station, which is about 3km from Manuel's house on foot (reachable with a walk of about 40 minutes in a beautiful green area or alternatively with Uber or public transport buses). Not far away, you can visit the Dachau concentration camp. I thank Manuel for hosting me.
