We had a beautiful stay this weekend at Gills lodge, it is in a peaceful location and has lovely attention to detail inside with everything you could need and more! Bude is a short drive away, with lovely bars & restaurants, along with nice coastal walks! Highly recommend <3

This was our third visit and the peace and tranquility draws us back, coupled with the fact that the location opens doors to explore both Cornwall and Devon. Our dog Nellie feels at home from the time the gate is opened, finding her own treats along with bowls along with space to roam so dog friendly, as is the towns of both Cornwall and Devon.

We had a wonderful stay at Porthilly Lodge! The setting was absolutely beautiful, and the cabin had everything we needed. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful when we needed help with the hot tub, going out of their way to assist us quickly and kindly. The nearby little beach was lovely for an evening stroll, and for those looking for a longer outing, the walk to the ferry and a day in Padstow is well worth it. We’d happily recommend staying here, and we’ve already talked about coming back!

A LOVELY place to stay, especially if you're looking for peace and relaxation. It was extremely private - some reviews said it wasn't as private as advertised, but this is absolutely not the case. There is another building on the property, but it isn't in use when the Airbnb is being rented. The entire outdoor space (including bar and hot tub) are solely yours to use. It was amazing. Also fantastic for our dogs. While it rained a lot, we still used the hot tub and let the dogs roam whenever possible. The space is also really nice. It's small, but we had no trouble making it work for two adults and two dogs. It really had everything we needed for our four days. The host is also fantastic. Samantha provided all the information we needed beforehand, but was also responsive when we had questions about the location (despite it being quite late when we arrived). As other reviews said, there is a farm nearby and the roosters do what they do...but I found the sounds comforting. We recommend!

i booked to stay here as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday and it was everything i wanted and more! the owner was very responsive and friendly over messages and giving recommendations of the local areas. when we arrived the place was absolutely spotless and so peaceful! the hot tub was heated up for us on arrival meaning we could relax after a day of travel and exploration. my boyfriend absolutely adored this surprise and we slept amazingly! it was so quiet and peaceful. couldn’t have asked for a better night away. thank you! xx

Wow what an amazing find! This place is fabulous. Very clean, absolutely loads of essentials. They have thought of everything. Would highly recommend this place to stay. The outside space is perfect, hot tub was great and the other side of the cabin has a beautiful bbq area. The Sauna was great and nice addition. We loved the golf. Can’t wait to return!

The sauna, cold drop & hot tub made the stay very special and relaxing. Some really cool attention to detail stuff in the cabin. It was super cosy & comfortable. Fab place to stay, perfect for a short weekend exploring the local area! The home was exactly as it was photographed and described. Joseph was great providing an extensive list of recommendations and clear instruction on how to find the accommodation. We will for sure be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at Talland Cliff side beach house, we stayed for two nights with our two children and Labrador, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus a few extra touches that added to our enjoyment, the family games and the hammock were a favourite for the children and sauna was an added luxury for us :) but without a doubt sitting on the decking and watching the sea was the most relaxing and wonderful thing for us to do! The beach is 5 minutes walk down the cliff side not too difficult but the climb back up may take a little longer but absolutely worth it for the trip down to the beach, there are a couple of coastal paths within a couple of miles of the property and a couple of small eateries close by for lunch with a view. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a lovely stay. The park is extremely well maintained and everyone was very friendly. Very good value for money. We will definitely be back and recommend it to family and friends.

We LOVED our stay here! And will certainly be back and recommending to friends and family!! Wonderful location for visiting gorgeous beaches and brilliant days out such as Padstow, Camel trail, Eden, Lost gardens of Heligan and many more- rarely had to spend more than 10 minutes in the car! Wonderful outside space and beautiful spotless homely space inside, comfy beds, really well equipped kitchen and lovely shower! Thoughtful touches really made a difference, cold bubbles in the fridge and delicious local coffee- we (and our daughter) particularly appreciated the story CDs, books, duplo and outside games! A really family friendly place! Thankyou for a memorable holiday- and looking forward to coming back soon!

We staid at Sue's and Barney's for 6 nights. We loved the secluded location and birds singing. For us accomodation offered just what we needed to feel at home. Private garden was a great bonus I was not expecting to have it all to myself. Great location to drive from so we were able to visit a variety of attractions from there like Heligan Gardens. Eden Project, Tintagel castle with cliffs, St Mawes and Mevagissey was short drive for the badly needed fish and chips after the busy day. We had a great week away in Cornwall. Thank you.

Cheryl, was very friendly and helpful and responded really quickly to any questions we had. She recommended a few dog friendly beaches to take the dog, as at this time of the year quite a few beaches ban dogs in Cornwall, so it’s worth knowing where to gol. The accommodation was a perfect base in which to explore Cornwall. Although, we thought it slightly smaller than the photos suggested! However, it was cosy and well equipped with everything we needed. The welcome treats for us and the dog on arrival, were also very much appreciated. The location of the accommodation is beautiful and very quiet, but you will definitely need a car and a SatNav, as the local shop and 2 pubs are quite a distance away. All in all, a lovely week spent here, thank you again Cheryl.

Great location, picturesque views, spacious living room and kitchen with all appliances, we also enjoyed sunny weather in the decking area. Good value for money. Overall, very pleased with the stay.

First stay at the Old Tea Hut and have already booked to go again next year. The pictures do not do justice to the loveliness of the hut. Everything you could need is there and the space is just beautiful. Freya was always responsive to any messages and was friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to stay again 💖

The most peaceful escape. The cabin was even better than the photos look, which is saying something! So relaxing and quiet, surrounded by nature and wildlife. All the little things had been thought of and we felt right at home. Although we didn’t need to reach out to Laura, she was so welcoming and friendly via messages, we would have felt totally comfortable to if needed. Waking up to the sound of birdsong and the nearby stream was our highlight! Thank you :)

We had such a lovely stay in the caravan. The location was perfect, and the caravan itself was cozy and well-equipped. Liv was very informative and kind, letting us check in early and making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Liv gave us some great recommendations the Ship inn and the Rashleigh Inn were both fabulous for food and a great location on the beach with very friendly locals making us feel very welcome. The band at the Ship inn on bank holiday Monday was really entertaining thanks so much Liv. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing break!

Review: I had a great stay! The place was very clean, especially the bathroom, which I really appreciated. Check-in was super easy thanks to the clear instructions. The host also provided a helpful list of local recommendations, which made exploring the area even better. I’d definitely stay here again!

We had a great time staying in our cabin. It’s a really spacious, comfortable and peaceful site and our 3 year old loved exploring the little forest with blue bells. It was very clean and had everything we needed with sweet touches indoors and outdoors. It’s a good location to visit lots of lovely places in Cornwall in any direction. Our hosts were also really friendly and helpful.

What a beautiful, cosy and peaceful place to spend Easter weekend! The Tinystore is the perfect getaway for a weekend break and is a great base to explore the surrounding area. Christopher, the host, was communicative and friendly and had cream tea waiting for us on arrival. The Tinystore has everything you need and more and we felt right at home. I really couldn’t recommend it more!

We had a lovely stay at the coastal annex. Quiet and peaceful which is what we were after. Not to far from the Atlantic coast of Cornwall and the beautiful scenery that brings. Phone signal isn’t great but the host provides WiFi to help with that. Use What3Words to avoid any confusion.

Beautiful location overlooking the coast from the lodge. We had plenty of privacy even though the host stayed next door. The lodge has everything you need, kitchen to cook our meals and a washing machine too. It felt cozy and warm although the temp outside is below 10C. Host is very friendly and nice, they allow us to check in early and left us fresh flowers and a home baked cake ( simply delicious). One of the afternoon, when we got back early, the host even brought over a parasol for us to use so that we can sit out on the deck to enjoy the scenery. Love to come back one day and highly recommend this place. Wish we meet more hosts like them.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful place. The natural beauty surrounding the place was simply breathtaking. It was incredibly peaceful and private. Waking up to the sound of waves and birds gently chirping was pure bliss. A special shout out to our host, who was extremely welcoming and helpful. They truly went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed - their hospitality made the experience even more memorable.
