Vacation rentals in Bocas del Toro Archipelago

Flo and Danielle have crafted a beautiful experience at Bocas Garden Villas. The space is custom built and practical and beautiful, with every detail accounted for! The bathroom and bedroom is spacious, as is the outdoor kitchen. The indoor space is fully air conditioned, with window slats that keep the cool air in. Note that the space is not soundproof, which we really enjoyed - you could hear everything from crickets, to thunderstorms to howler monkeys. Both my partner and I slept well although I would advise those sensitive to sound to bring ear plugs if it’s not your cup of tea. We used the barbecue and enjoyed great meals outdoors, making use of limes grown in trees nearby and There is a motorbike for rent and I highly recommend using it! Best way to get around the island. Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend.

The tiny house cabin was such a beautiful place to stay! It’s cozy and you feel like you are in a secluded tree house. It’s a very quick walk to the main road and near several good restaurants, bars and beach clubs. It’s also very easy to get a cab to get into town. Walter was a great host and very responsive. He provided excellent directions and recommendations for tours, dining and more. The WiFi worked well for video calls if you need to work while there. Really loved my stay here and cannot recommend enough.

The house is beautiful, nestled in the middle of nature. What truly made our stay exceptional was Corinna’s outstanding hospitality. She supported us with every single detail and went above and beyond by not only providing useful information but also offering personal support when we needed it most. She was always available and incredibly responsive. We had some specific needs related to a family health issue, and Corinna's help made a big difference - we’re truly grateful. Our experience wouldn’t have been the same without her. The house is comfortable and well-equipped. Just a small note: for people with reduced mobility, accessing the kitchen/living area might be a bit challenging due to the stairs. We’ll definitely be back. An absolutely perfect stay! The cabin is nestled in a beautiful, wild jungle with a true sense of nature and a unique atmosphere. Heather and Lori were amazing hosts – warm, kind, and always available to help. They took care of picking us up and dropping us off at the airport, provided excellent tips for exploring the area, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. A truly unforgettable experience!

My husband and I came to Panama for the first time along with another couple. The house was perfectly appointed, so much so that we all felt like we could live there permanently. The photos scarcely do the place justice. The large porch was fabulous and we spent much of the time there. The beds were comfortable and it was easy to take a water taxi where you needed to go. Steve, the host, gave great recommendations. Pat attention to his instructions if you are staying here. Everyone made us feel very welcome. Tera and Jesse, the owners were so gracious and hospitable. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a place off the beaten path and outside of Bocas Town.

Wonderfully responsive to our needs. He allowed us to check into the property 3 hours early. Woke up to the birds chirping, howler monkeys howling in the serenity of the jungle. Great pizza spot (Ciao Pizza) and the always lively Skully’s restraint and bar across the street. Near surfing! Perfect spot. We had a wonderful stay.

Staying at this jungle treehouse was an unforgettable experience for us. The location is absolutely stunning — waking up to the sounds of nature and being surrounded by lush greenery felt like a dream. The common area was super cozy and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Our host was amazing, always available and full of fantastic recommendations that made our trip even more special. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of nature, this is it.

Dorien made us stay in the small 2-seater cabin visible in the photos. The cabin is very simple, with a fan. The toilets and showers are separate, but very close and clean. Dorien is full of attention: she welcomed us warmly, provided us with kayaks and snorkeling equipment and recommended hikes on the island. She also offers all of her Cacao farm during which she will not hesitate to show you all the animals and plants that live in her home, including a lazy family and Felipe the parrot. Her kids and volunteers are there to brighten up meals. We had a very pleasant stay, in a very quiet and peaceful little corner and in very simple but perfectly functional and pleasant conditions. Loved it! Dorien can arrange pickups from other lodges with her Captain:)
