Really very nice and accommodating hosts and a great house, lovingly and decorated with a style all its own. It may be a little strange for some that the house is still actively inhabited and is therefore full of personal belongings, but you get used to it very quickly and then feel right at home. We can only warmly recommend Astrid and her husband's place to everyone. 😊

It was like visiting friends. Wonderful garden, space to play for the kids, different corners to discover and relax. And the chickens were a highlight for me. Every afternoon see what they had put back for us. Everything we needed. Gladly come back.

I never write reviews despite the fact that I’ve stayed at dozens of rental properties around the world. This one stood out. As did the owner. I felt compelled to write something this time around. The place is absolutely beautiful with an amazing view, wonderful terraces, and every imaginable convenience, amenity and comfort. Tim was so great that I wound up inviting him over for dinner next time he’s in my city! This was fantastic place to stay. Tranquil, scenic and comfortable.

The house was great. Plenty of room with lots of amenities. It’s located near the train stop and university. Perfect if you have business at the university. The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive to any questions we had. They really wanted to ensure we had a great stay.

Our stay was wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. The apartment was very clean, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is quiet and offers a beautiful view – perfect for relaxing. Adriana and Oana were extremely friendly and helpful, they were in contact with us even before arrival and provided us with all the information in detail. Since we had a long journey, it was a great relief for us that we were allowed to check in earlier by arrangement. Also on the day of departure, when we had a problem with the car, we were kindly allowed to leave the car in the parking lot for a few more hours – for which we are very grateful!We can wholeheartedly recommend this place and look forward to seeing you again. Great experience, the house is old but tidy and clean, there are 4 rooms in total 8 beds, the living room is great, the kitchen is fully equipped, there is a washing machine in the basement.It would have been even better if slippers were provided.

The house is quaintly located, not central, but this is known beforehand. It is a lot of fit and also very suitable for traveling with children. Thank you for the wonderful time!

We really enjoyed our time at Gotthilf's place. It was a wonderful stay and we felt well taken care of there. The apartment is very cozy and has plenty of daylight. The bathroom and terrace with beautiful views are great highlights of the accommodation. There are many excursion destinations nearby. Gotthilf and his family are very friendly and helpful hosts.

Perfect house for a group of friends with children. The hot tub was a big plus, as was the playroom for children. It's clear that they pay attention to details to make the stay as comfortable as possible. There are many activities in the area for young and old. In addition, the owners Tim and Tanja are very quick to respond to questions and are flexible! We enjoyed our weekend in the Schwarzwaldhaus castle view. Highly recommended!!!

Anja and Mike were extremely friendly and even made the key handover possible earlier. The rooms were very lovingly decorated and decorated for Christmas. In addition, the apartment was very well equipped with tea kitchen and many bathroom items. It was quiet, clean and cozy. We will definitely remember the apartment for next time 😊

Located in the suburbs of Karlsruhe, easy to reach by highway and well placed to discover the region. We went to Strasbourg in just 1 hour from the accommodation. Brand new and impeccable accommodation.

Really enjoyed this accommodation. Very charming traditional house with everything you need and a very nice garden in a quiet neighbourhood. Everything you need for a great family stay in the Black Forest. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. Responsive host. I can definitely recommend this charming place and +10 points for the Cuckoo clock!

We would absolutely recommend this beautiful house overlooking a brook. We were a party of 6 and there was plenty of room. The bedrooms & bathrooms were large with plenty of floor and storage space. The kitchen was well equipped. We loved the little touches like the fresh flowers. The washer was a bonus. It was a lovely home away from home. Our host was always helpful and quick to respond.

Everything was fine. The house is very Cosy.
