Monthly Rentals in Boavista dos Pinheiros

We were very happy in Carina’s home! Each of us had our own bedroom with a view — a little balcony over beautiful Odemira. The home was very well equipped and spacious— perfect for families or a group of friends. We didn’t have much time to be at home as we were at a seminar day and night, but we slept soundly every night in the quiet neighbourhood, had ample space to get ready, and felt rested going off each day. We would definitely rent this calm and comfortable place again! Thank you, Carina!

We had a very nice stay at Wouter’s place. Very well equipped kitchen, clean and the house stayed cool despite the heat even though there was no air conditioning. The owners were close by and very helpful. WiFi worked flawlessly. Plus points for the hot tub!

I had a wonderful time, very calm and peaceful surroundings. Lovely cats and friendly hosts. The lodge was just as described. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed 6 nights at Bas’ place and expected to use it as a base to explore the Alentejo region. Instead we found the home and the town to be so lovely, we only went out one day to the seashore (which was amazing even in mid April). Bas has created a space with everything you need, including a beautiful view, and we appreciated the artistic designs of the space and the furniture. The hilly quaint town of Odemira was beginning its April celebrations of justice and liberty and we were lucky enough to catch a concert of many local choral groups singing the Cante Alentejano style. As for delicious Portuguese food, try the cataplana de tamboril at O Tarros (we ate there 3 times) and the bola de berlim at cafe Rita. And of course, the Alentejano wines. What a treat to experience what Bas has discovered. And he made it so easy with great instructions and communication. Highly recommend!
