Bluffton vacation rentals

Terrific stay in Beaufort! The house is incredibly cute and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. We could walk to museums, shops, restaurants, and the waterfront park, yet the house is in a very quiet, private part of town. Dining and exploring recommendations from Jeremiah & Emily were perfect. If you’re a history buff, don’t miss the Restoration National Park walking tours. We’d definitely stay at this place again!

As others have consistently noted, this is a very high quality property managed by a very high quality hostess. The house is very comfortable and relaxing, with an updated feel. Really well supplied with decent cookware, drinkware, and many amenities. Location great, accessible to everything. We highly recommend Hunting Island (visited twice) and Cypress Wetlands. Our only concern was shower head water volume which owner is alerted to, a minor issue. We recommend this cottage for couples and we would definitely repeat here.

This was our second time staying at Susan's place & we left feeling even more in love. It's the perfect set up for little dogs with the screened in porch and safely fenced front garden. The cottage feels private yet safe because the owners are always around maintaining their beautifully serene property. We drove into Beaufort for yoga & dining. Hunting Island Beach is a gem with nature trails, a boardwalk, marshes, a fishing pier & is close by. The kitchen was very thoughtfully stocked with supplies and treats. We had breakfast the morning after arrival with no need to make a store run until later that first day. The property owners are absolutely delightful & the price is more than fair. We hope to return, soon!

We had a lovely stay at Jim’s place. We were a bit nervous about the logistics of getting to and from the island, transportation, etc. but Jim and Karla ( the property manager) had lots of great recs and were so helpful. The home is lovely and even cuter than the pics on Airbnb show. The location couldn’t be beat. The beach was pristine and quiet. Best family vacation ever!

While we only had the pleasure of staying here for one night, we would absolutely return for longer! Jaime and Marie’s place was absolutely adorable. It looked just like the pictures, had all the things you and your family could need for a beach trip, and had the most comfortable beds! The decor was picture perfect and looked brand new. Jaime and Marie were extremely responsive to all my questions and were very kind. I had a billing concern early on and they were quick to help problem solve it for me. Hilton Head is our favorite place and we come every year. We are thankful to have found a new spot we can add to our list for places to stay. Great location, peaceful, and a real hidden gem. Such a great location with a nice sized dog-friendly yard, too! Kevin was an excellent communicator and the whole experience went smoothly. Would recommend and come again!

Everything from check-in to check-out was amazing. The house was clean and free of clutter, the coffee maker was easy to use, the kitchen amenities were as advertised. The home was welcoming and cool upon arrival and it was easy to get into the home. The instructions were clear and the book provided was an amazing help. Nothing went awry in the home and we will be booking again. The host was responsive and always willing to help. She afforded us to check-in earlier and we were blown away. The bedrooms were beautiful and the home was very aesthetically pleasing. The neighborhood was beautiful and it was close to a grocery store and our event destination. Again it was an overall amazing experience and when we visit again we hope to book you again. Thank you all for everything.

Great space. So peaceful on the river. We saw dolphins, otters and so many wading birds. Gorgeous sunsets. Screened porch was fantastic for breakfast and evenings. Pool wasn’t useable for our stay but the landscaping was really pretty.

We are very thankful to have came across this beautiful cottage for our vacation. It was everything we imagined and more. When we arrived there was music playing, wine, a sweet note, and a cake was left to greet us upon our arrival for our anniversary. It was full of all the amenities all the way down to Apple Watch chargers on each side of the bed (something I forgot to pack). Anything you may forget, Kimberly most likely has it in the cottage for you already. The beach chairs were great to take to the beach! (as we also had forgot ours) Everything was thoughtfully decorated and stocked. I loved the front porch area for my morning reading and coffee. It’s nestled on a quiet street just a short drive to Savannah and Tybee Island. Communication was amazing. We didn’t have any questions during our stay, but from the prior communication and check in, I was sure Kimberly was just a text away. We felt at home and safe at Penrose Cottage. We hope one day to be able to come back!

This was an awesome stay ! Elizabeth was very responsive with questions and recommendations! She even provided my friend was flowers because we were there for her Bachelorette ! Will definitely be coming back.

Our Airbnb experience was truly wonderful. To begin with, the home is just minutes away from Paris Island, and there's a lovely park right in front of the neighborhood. As we arrived, we instantly fell in love with the shady trees and the serene community. Upon entering the home, it was clear that the host had attended to every detail. They provided an excellent booklet with instructions and had a variety of family activities available in the garage and yard. The house was impeccably clean, and the host was easily reachable. We particularly appreciated the room-darkening curtains in the master bedroom, and the stand-up shower was a fantastic bonus for us older visitors. The rooms were spacious, and the house was well-equipped. We would absolutely love to stay at this home again!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and I loved the cozy decor in the house as well as all the beautiful live plants. Tetia is very quick in her responses, a wonderful host and gave great recommendations for the area. Such a relaxing get away! We recommend this place!!

Incredible cottage on the May River. Without a doubt one of my favorite AirBnb’s. The owners did an incredible job decorating and making the cottage feel unique and cozy. I’ve never would have guessed that the wall paneling under the wainscoting was roofing from the original historic house that was remodeled and rebuilt. The cottage guest house is located alongside the main house with full access to the beautiful gardens, patios, and pier. It is a serene setting and just so wonderful to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. We stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed more but we stopped as part of a southeast coast roadtrip from Virginia to Key West Florida. Our plan had been to use Bluffton as a stay over to visit Hilton Head Island. Not knowing we had booked during a busy and popular PGA golf weekend we were cautioned about the traffic in Hilton Head so we decided to stay back and just enjoy Bluffton and the cottage. This was the best decision ever!!

What a great location! We took multiple walks per day to the river since it was such a short walk. The park is beautiful and scenery is varied based on the tides and time of day. Same with local restaurants and stores, and the weekly farmers’ market—easy walks. The setup of the house was perfect for us and the backyard is private and idyllic, despite the house being so centrally located. We can’t recommend it enough.

This place is a gem for sure! The porch and the peaceful surroundings are beautiful! The grounds are well maintained and the plant choices were perfect for the setting. The dock has an amazing sunset! Cathy (Darlene) made us feel right at home. She greets and meets you to go over aspects of the home and knowing she was close if we needed anything was great too! I have six Airbnbs of mine own, so I can spot clean a mile away, lol, and this place met my approval on that for sure! It was such a lovely place and lovely host! We have no complaints at all. We loved it!

Fantastic spot, right in the center of everything . Easily walkable to spots throughout town but also a very quick and easy drive to other locations like Hilton head and Beaufort . Comfortable, clean, and convenient as a spot to use as home base . Would 100 percent book this spot again if I was headed back to the area . Thank you for a great stay

We had a great time in Bluffton and Hilton Head. We felt like we were in the middle of everything and the place was perfect. Glenda and Bill were available in case we needed anything but we never did. We were there in the summer and the AC was very cool, to the point that we turned down the air.

We loved staying at your lovely cottage house. It was so pretty and peaceful and best of all walking distance to all that Bluffton has to offer! The place was in pristine condition and very cozy. We will certainly come back again. Thank you so much!

This Airbnb is very nice. This place was exactly as pictured and easy to find. The host was very detailed in her description/instructions and responsive. This space was the perfect for the two of us. The private parking, space, entrance was a nice touch too. We definitely recommend! This was our second time to Bluffton. We stumbled upon this town this time last year. We actually drove a hour past our destination to visit Bluffton again. It’s such a hidden gem that doesn’t seem to be crazy busy with tourist.
