We were very comfortable at the loft. Updated throughout and had just about every amenity in kitchen and bathroom that one would need. The shower pressure was really good. We did not use the jacuzzi part of the bathtub. The hot water in bath and kitchen is very hot which I really like. I would definitely recommend if you want to be central and be able to walk downtown Midland. Lots of bath towels and kitchen supplies. Good Wifi and TV options. Welcome binder was really well done with lots of useful information. All appliances were new, clean and full sized. One thing to note though, there are outdoor stairs to access the unit. Might be challenging for some. We had no issues. We have family living a few blocks away from the loft and would consider booking this convenient, comfortable apartment for our next visit. We were a week too early to take part in the famous Butter Tart Festival but there’s always next year !

My younger sister took the Airbnb for the weekend as I couldn’t attend do to illness. The place was clean and as described. The beach was very close and amazing. Overall a nice stay :)

2 Bedroom Plus Bunkie Woodland Beach Cottage

Our family had an enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend at Carol's property. The cabin was cozy and charming, the bunkie was super cute and the deck and fire pit were amazing spots to hang out at. It's a short walk to the water and a convenience store/lcbo. Our only issue was that we didn't stay long enough!

While this is strictly speaking a review, let us start by publicly saying a warm Thank You! to Nikki and Joel for creating and sharing such a wonderful space to relax and unwind in! While perhaps lacking in some of the things we take for granted like plumbing, their space is transformative, showing new possibilities, combining beauty and functionality. While on the rustic side, it brings a chance to be more intimate with your surroundings. My wife was particularly in love with the swing chair and hammock right in the space. Highly recommended, very close to Collingwood and all it offers, a great escape.

Cozy Lakefront Cottage with Hot tub and Pool.

We went to this cottage for a beautiful romantic weekend getaway and we were happy we got that. The owner of the cottage Necker was very kind and helpful, absolutely loved the place and there was plenty of water activities to do. It was easy to check in, communicate and plenty of peaceful vibes. Recommended 100%, please go visit this cottage it is very well worth it. P.S: we loved the character of the cottage with little artpieces and wall art from all over the globe 🌎.

We enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s. Unfortunately we had a family funeral unexpectedly and could not arrive on Friday as planned. We arrived the Saturday evening instead but Jennifer offered a late check out for us since we had lost some time. Accommodation is pleasant and clean. Bed was comfortable and you can tell that Jennifer and her husband take great pride in the property Beautiful surroundings and a great view of the lake. Orr lake is very shallow and has a beach area it would be great if travelling with kids. We were disappointed that the water was too shallow for fishing from the dock but it was a chilly weekend so we spent time in nearby Midland. St Marie Among the Hurons was a great way to spend a cold afternoon. Found a great English pub in Victoria Harbour.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Donna’s beautiful home in Midland. While the photos are lovely, the space is even more stunning in person, immaculate, cozy, and full of charm. It had everything we needed and more. Midland is a hidden gem! Peaceful, scenic, and full of character. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, and the lake nearby is truly breathtaking. It’s the perfect place to slow down and recharge. Donna is an exceptional host, warm, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful. Her recommendations were amazing, we explored Olde Town Library, Tiny Gems, Mouse Trap Cheese Shop, Grounded Coffee, and more. Each spot felt like a local treasure. Meeting Donna was a true gift! Her kindness and care made our stay feel extra special. We’re deeply grateful for the experience and would love to return again.
