Family-friendly vacation rentals in Blue Ridge Lake

We needed a quiet weekend away and this cabin was perfect. Loved the hot tub on the deck under the stars.

Unfortunately due to a storm the power was out. They did their best to find us an alternative cabin and were very helpful.

This place was perfect for our getaway. Great views of mountains and a creek. Somewhat of a walk to the creek, but completely worth it. Had nighty visits from friendly deer and squirrels. This cabin is well taking care of. No detail missed. The Host has added more land to explore and his work has paid off. Having 2 washers and dryers made laundry painless. Kitchen was spotless and bathrooms were immaculate. Great water pressure and hot water. Wish we could have stayed longer, but this cabin was booked the day we left. We can understand why!! We will book again!

No way. This was an absolute delight to stay at! It completely superseded our expectations, and the host was so kind and courteous! A hidden gym for sure! The prices were outstanding and I cannot wait to return!!!!

Amber’s place was exactly what we needed. It’s was clean and peaceful and the hot tub was perfect. Amber was incredibly helpful. She left us fresh eggs for breakfast and had even more amenities than were listed (snow cone machine?!)

Arthur was responsive and kind. The cabin was beautiful and beds were super comfy! House had nice amenities and the outdoor space with the hot tub were great. The walk to the river was beautiful, but steep. We only walked down to the river once, as you can see it great and hear it from the back porch. Lots to do within a short driving distance. The downtown area was adorable with lots of activity and shops!

The host was responsive and very helpful at check in. The location is beautiful.

This cabin was a cozy and relaxing place to stay. It was very clean and very comfortable. The outdoor fire pit, along with the hot tub was an amazing place to relax and unwind. Would definitely return!

Sandra was very responsive and easy to work with. The cabin was private and way up high on the mountain for great views. It was such a peaceful place and a great place to relax.

Absolutely enchanting! Our recent stay at this cabin in the woods was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt an immediate sense of peace and tranquility. The cabin itself was a warm and inviting haven, beautifully crafted with rustic charm and all the modern comforts you could possibly need. The cabin was impeccably clean, thoughtfully stocked with everything from cozy blankets to essential kitchen supplies, and the personalized welcome note was a lovely touch. Being pet-friendly was a huge plus for us, and our furry friend absolutely adored exploring the surrounding woods. he location was simply breathtaking. Nestled deep within the woods, the cabin offered a true escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The serene atmosphere, the crisp fresh air, and the star-studded nights were incredibly rejuvenating. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, a place to bond with loved ones (including your pets!), look no further!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Off the Grid! Greg’s cabin is definitely a slice of heaven and we are so grateful he chooses to share it with others. We hiked the property and surrounding areas. It’s super private, we had no problems locating cabin with Greg’s instructions! There were some pretty severe storms our first night and Greg checked in with us and was responsive to any needs. Cabin was super clean…this was the perfect space for our boys (8 and 11 year olds), our two dogs and my husband and I! We hope to stay here again in the very near future! Here’s to more adventures ahead at an amazing cabin!

The cabin has a cozy feeling and is located nice and secluded at the end of a neighborhood, with plenty of privacy. Due to the weather we did not get to enjoy the outside but the bonfire looks like a great place to sit outside with family or friends. When booking, we didn’t realize the upstairs bedroom does not have a door, although this did not bother us because it was just my wife and I. We would go definitely come back here. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with.

My dog usually barks at anything that moves. She found peace and quiet. Not even a whimper all night. That was her first time away from home and that was an absolute plus for us.

Such a charming, peaceful and comfortable place, and definitely lives up to its name…can’t get better views than this! Host was very responsive, helpful and friendly, and even checked on us the morning after a bad storm the night before. Highly recommend this host and place, and would definitely love to visit again!

Sandra's place was great! It was even bigger in person! The view was fabulous. The cabin is just a few minutes await from everything! We will be back!

This is our second time staying in one of the Winton’s cozy properties. And definitely will not be the last. They are very welcoming hosts. The bath house is very charming, clean and well equipped. Don’t be intimidated about it.

Great location! Small cozy guest house. Parking spot was tight for our large 2500 but we made it work. Recommendations were great.

This cabin is fantastic and Joeseph and Lorena were great at communicating. I ended up proposing to my girlfriend at this cabin and they were accommodating to make everything perfect. There were so many thoughtful gestures like a personalized sign and have other cool things like deer feed and bird feed. The pictures of this cabin don’t do it justice! Views are amazing, clean, and all of the games you could ever want to play. The only thing I would note before you book is make sure you put the correct amount of people staying. Even though the cabin sleeps 8, I only reserved with 2 because I didn’t know how many were staying. There is a fee for anyone over your reserved amount. I ended up having 3 others stay for a total of 5 and still had to pay extra for them. Something to note. Everything was amazing and would recommend to anyone to stay here!

Beautiful cabin, clean and very tasteful. All the furniture and kitchen appliances are of very good quality. The service was excellent, we felt taken care of as they always responded promptly to our questions. The vegetation is beautiful and you really find peace in that place.

The cabin was lovely and in great condition. There were issues of communication steming from what Airb&b shares with the host. If this could get worked out, I would have no complaints. We did have an issue of septic flooding on our final night which the host was highly apologetic about and quick to address even though it was late at night and below freezing. The host was friendly, the resort was nice, and the trails would have been so fun if we had not been too cold to walk to explore them. Had it been warmer, there was beautiful scenery and much to explore. Fair warning, apple maps works great on the resort property but Google maps will take you in crazy directions.

We loved our stay over Thanksgiving with our kids and grandkids. The house was comfortable with plenty of room and fantastic views of the lake below and the mountains that surrounded us. Easy to get into Murphy for shopping and restaurants. We loved the Chop House!! We will book this house again!

Instructions were clear. Owner responded quickly and helpful with any issue I had. Very friendly. Also it’s a very private and makes you feel at home. The entire cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed!!

After local weather ruined our Spring Break plans, we made a last minute pivot to this cabin and couldn't have been happier with the decision. The location was perfect for a relaxing weekend. The majority of our time was spent next to the river or on the porch soaking in the view. The layout was great for our two families giving everyone plenty of room. The cabin was well furnished and had everything needed to cook several meals. Overall I would absolutely recommend.
