This incredible space has been the inspirational hub for designing the most creative projects in Humboldt during the past 18 years. Now it has been reborn as an immersive space to enjoy the redwoods. Every inch has been thoughtfully designed to allow our guests to feel the enveloping majestic nature of the surrounding forest. Upon arrival, a golf cart awaits for your journey through the woods, to the upper landing of the raised boardwalk crossing over a seasonal creek bringing you to The Studio.

Close to Town/HSU, Ocean, Redwoods and the River. Enjoy a secluded retreat on our 47 acres of redwoods & hot tub under the forest canopy. This contemporary chalet in the Redwoods is bathed in sunlight and is a short stroll to the Mad River & 10 minutes drive to HSU/downtown Arcata, and 15 minutes north to beaches of Trinidad or south to Eureka. Includes shared Hottub w/ sign up sheet to reserve your own 30-60 min. tub times. Healthy place for Staycation/work away from home. No pets allowed.

Blue Lake Sanctuary

Surrounded by pastures, it's a short walk to the Mad River for swims and walks. The Mad River Brewery is less than a mile up the road. Excellent mountain biking is 1 mile away. In a 15 minute drive you can find the hip town of Arcata, surrounded by redwoods and hiking as well as a majestic coastline. Sundays 10 am to noon we host a family friendly ecstatic dance in the studio adjacent to the apartment. Expect music at that time. Come join us! Public Yoga classes are Tuesday & Saturday am.

Spacious living room and outdoor seating overlooking the large yard, orchard, and barn. 1 car garage with laundry. Depending on the time of year, help yourself to apples and plums in the orchard and fresh eggs from the chickens. Cheers!
